BlueRayDick: Pẹ̀lẹ́, it's sure not coro. I had similar symptoms early Last week. For like 3 days I was down with mild cough and a runny nose and slight headache. At that point I began cursing them at work for forcing us to come to work when Sanwoolu had declared partial lockdown b4 Bubu declared a total one
I couldn't go to the hospital beacuse I know people even get infected in the hospital so I carry myself to a pharmacy checked my blood pressure and sugarevel, bought cough syrup, antibiotics, anti-malaria drugs and lucozade..... After 2 days I was up and doing. And yes I peppered better pepper soup in between to flush the yamayama in my system.
You don't have coro Jàre, you probably have malaria or an infection. Thanks. I think it's malaria cos mosquitoes have been harassing me since last month. The back and shoulder pains no be here. All my mind just day coronalized |

MomoAdura: Akposy... please I made bread rolls today and I noticed it turned out too brown....I used a table top oven. Please is there any way I can adjust the heat. I would also appreciate any correction This is nice. Well done! I don't understand what you mean by table top oven. My advice is that you reduce the heat or when you notice the top is getting brown...switch off the oven and let the heat (hot oven) do the baking |

BlueRayDick: Kai! This is the real MEATpie, see meat everywhere na....Not potato and carrot pie some fast food joints sell as meat pie.
Ooin! You are doing well In most places, potatoes are more expensive than meat itself. Potatoes gives meat pie a unique taste and filling....using too much meat makes it boring and meaty. If you like the plenty meat filling, Samosa will be your answer....Have you tried samosa? My opinion though |

Teespice: colander is a metallic sieve mostly used for steaming foods. sometimes it can also be used as a sieve if you do not have the plastic one.
the spoon used for serving spaghetti is a serving spoon with tentacles (imagine a spider upside down) used for serving spaghetti.
pardon my description of the spoon. that's the only illustration that came to my head. Oh! Thanks... the colander is those metal sieve i see then. I know the spaghetti spoon now... Thanks |

How to cook Dangote spaghetti like a Pro. 101
Step 1.... Boil water using a large pot, please use enough water..To make sure pasta doesn’t stick.
Step 2... Salt your water and add your spaghetti into the boiling water, make sure you don't break it.
Step 3.. As the spaghetti start to cook, Stir it well using spaghetti spoon or tongs.
Step 4... Once is up to 4 minutes take out the spaghetti from the water and place it in a colander...Living the pot of spaghetti water on gass, make sure you reduce the heat.
Step 5... in the colander, add your extra virgin olive oil and stir.
While your Tomatoes or any sauce is on fire using nonstick pan....put in your spaghetti and take little hot water from the pot and add to it to continue the cooking process and add little extra virgin olive oil....Please make sure you dont stir using any spoon.. Just use your hand holding the pan and shake(like how you flip your pancake on pan) if you're not good at that, you can use chopped stick to turn. Not up to 3 minutes, turn off your gas.
NOTE:
* I prefer giving this recipe while in the kitchen with the person.
* Some folks do add oil to their boiling water, but that dont work... adding oil to water will make you start stirring continuously, because the oil always stay at the top of the water.
● Please don't come for me if you don't use Dangote spaghetti.. because he get as my body dey do me now, I nor too dey fine. Thanks for understanding. Please what is spaghetti spoon or tongs. Also, what is a colander.... sorry for my many questions |

In my recipe I said Edo and Delta.... The Edo people can't cook Owoh soup without adding tomatoes.. while I said he should check it on YouTube first before cooking because Recipes varies..
I think I made a mistake not adding "Optional" beside the Tomatoes. I never knew the Edo people eat owoh soup. I'm learning things...thanks Chef Thanks Dyt....no do abracadabra collect my food o Thanks Mariangeles... my head day swell now Thanks Acidosis |

Toxicy2kwap: Nothing do you boss.
I find your versatility in the kitchen quite fascinating. You might not believe it, but i joined nairaland just so i could access your village diary.
But just like d isoko lady, tomatoes in owoh soup is a first for me. Starch is added as thickener, in place of Garri you listed. There's even a special palm oil for it that looks like d bottom oil you mentioned.
I have zero issues with your ingredients. Its just that i fear d presence of tomatoes takes away the nativeness of the soup. But then i guess part of being a good chef is the ability to play around recipes.
Akposy you don chop owoh with tomatoes before? I'm not sure I have cos I don't know how to prep the soup. My favorite is Banga soup with starch. |

GboyegaD: It is more expensive because of the process of making it. It is usually about 6 to 12 times higher than regular oats per gram depending on the mix you buy. Some have it mixed with sunflower and flax seeds, some with pumpkin seeds, some with hemp seeds so it makes the price vary. The easiest if them can be made yourself at a much cheaper cost. Okay boss. Thanks! |

Petyprincess: Thank you very much, when i plan on making it i will definitely ask questions You're welcome Prestonn: They are not really my students, just sharing some segment with them because of the lockdown Ermmmm.. Okay Chef Prestonn: Thanks Brother...Since is your first time, i advice you also check it on YouTube before cooking.. Because the Isokohs, Urhobos, Itsekiris and Bini have different method of cooking this soup...
OWOH SOUP.. Africa kitchen
INGREDIENTS ~ Any meat of your choice ~Smoked Fish ~Seasoning ~Palm Oil ~Tomatoes ~Native salts (Potash or Kanwa) ~Pepper ~Crayfish ~Yellow garri (sieved)/ optional ~salt
PREPARATION
●Boil your meat with just salt and season cube. Once they have cooked, add your blended tomatoes and pepper....Add your smoked fish and crayfish.
●Dissolve your potash in water and add to the pot and bring to boil. Add your garri and stir (I don't use garri )
●Allow it to cook.. In a few minutes you will notice that the addition of the potash has caused the watery stock to thicken a little....Take it off the heat and let it cool down a little, like 10 to15 minutes.
This last stage is like magic.. I prefer you also check it on YouTube to see how it form while stirring in your palm oil to get it right.
●Stir in Palm oil into the pot. The soup will thicken and the colour will change to yellow.
Serve with Starch, boiled ripe plantain, boiled yam or Garri.
NOTE:
* please don't add curry, thyme or onions etc while cooking your meat.. just salt and seasoning cube.
*Taste for salt before adding extra, because the Potash is salty.
* Dont add too much crayfish, because it darkens the soup.
* Don't cover your pot after adding the Potash(native salt)
* It looks creamy
* Use the thick part at the bottom of your palm oil gallon Miguo Chef! Wekobiruo....I will try it out and give you the feedback. |
