cococandy: Yes butter is responsible for the flakiness
But you tried sha. Next time use butter and see the difference
Thanks. I will
pippimp: Too easy. Mind what you eat and drink. Portion your food and never eat past 2000 hrs. Keep a very very tight and regular workout regimen. And try to sleep at least 6 to 8 hours every day. Works like a charm. #gboyegad
Thanks sir. I started a routine days back and I can see few changes. Once I wake up, i drink about a glass of water. Do 100 push up and 100 squats. Drink my mint, lemon and lemon balm infusion tea. Take oat with protein powder I made...... Then I drink about 2 ltrs of water through out the day. Do you have any home exercise suggestions that's beneficial to the body? I barely sleep up to 5 hours a day. I sleep 11pm - 1am and sleep does not come till 5am and I have to wake up again by 6:50am. The sleep thing is bothering me
Cococandy. I tried the scone recipe you dropped. I didn't have butter and margarine..I used oil and about 1 tbsp of margarine. I don't think scone making will work without butter though. It tasted nice sha
Third pics before baking. Don't mind the fish there..I had no oil to fry so I used the opportunity to baked alongside the scones to save gas
Hathor5: No worries dear. The cheese you need to make cheese cakes are white and rather tasteless. The sugar, vanilla aroma or lemon is what gives the cheese the taste in the cake. You can also use these kinds of cheese to make bread spread. It is delicious too or simply mix it with sugar and cut in any fruit that you like.
For my cake I used curd cheese and cream cheese. Here is how you can make it by yourself.
pippimp: Lol. Old is a state of mind. My best friend runs 2 miles in 15 minutes, rucks 6 miles in 90 minutes with a 40 lbs ruck, does 65 push ups in a minute and 30 seconds, effortlessly completes 60 sit ups in a minute and halo jumps at night. He's 49.
He is doing well. I need to get your secrets and health tips
Your bread shape is funny yet unique. You did very well for a first timer...if I show you my first bread pics ehn, you go laff me. I baked with stove and pot then....lemme go search for the pics
Hathor5: Yes, cheese. I used curd cheese because it is low in fat with cream cheese but in the video I posted they used cream cheese with sour cream. The white stuff on the side are sliced almonds.
Wow. I assume you used lot of the cheese. Cheese is gold here in Naija. I priced one 2 months ago...they gave me one tiny piece for about 2,000 naira...I ran
pippimp: Lol....Kinda sorta. I'm like weird looking. I look 30 because my job forced me to think and look that way. It does not have mercy for weak and archaic people but i'm definitely old-er.
Interesting.... It's all good. Permit me to call you old papa youngie or youngest old man .
I wish to be like you and much better (young-old wise) when I attain your age.
xrayj: Stop saying the bold for Christ sake!!! How old are u? This is a healing thread for most people with esteem issues, do not come here to mislead anyone! Nobody needs anyone acceptance to feel like who they wish to! You can be the best of yourself as a man or woman, u don't need acceptance of anyone! There are celibate that got nothing to do with women & they are happy! I wonder the value u place on yourself when u think your importance is based on a woman's acceptance! Gosh! When u grow older u will understand! I won't argue with u on this. I believe any grown up on this thread above 30 yrs will understand my point!
I'm in my twenties but I understand and agree with you

Directions Step 1 Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet. Step 2 In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter. Mix the egg and milk in a small bowl, and stir into flour mixture until moistened. Step 3 Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead very briefly. Roll dough out into a 1/2 inch thick round. Cut into 8 wedges, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4 Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.

pippimp: Usually affects soldiers but anyone can have it. If a person witnesses or is directly involved in a traumatic event, that person may develop weird and sometimes dangerous physical reactions when something reminds them of the said event. Seeing a professional and medication helps to control it.
Thanks! I've learnt something new. Does PTSD have an acronym meaning?
