Yes. It's the best for him and a big problem for Atiku. Igbos have made it clear with their posts everywhere, they're not voting Tinubu regardless who he picks as deputy. Yorubas care less about religion determining their choice. Tinubu will fight for northern and SS Christians than Fulani Atiku. Moreover, Christian Osinbajo has done very little to defend Christians. Woman like Tinubu's wife, a Christian will do more. |

He should start packing already! |
Frigga13:You're so bitter, my friend. Tinubu never hindered an igboman from contesting. Your likes are the one making things difficult for the SE and the South generally and the northerners are aware of you people. It's not by force for you to support Tinubu's ambition. However, as for me I will rather support Obi 100 times to be president rather than having another northerner/fulani if APC also deem it fit to present a northerner again after Buhari. And I will implore southerners not to take the position of the useless, mediocre and selfish VP, let northerners have it. |
Still baffle me why any southerner would want to be VP again to a northern president. It's a useless, mediocre and selfish position. Let the northern APC and PDP candidates pick their VP from the north. |
ECASH120:Yes. However, we also need Akintoye incase both PDP and APC present northerners. The entire south needs different direction even with 3 separaterepublics since northerners believe they can rule their Nigeria forever. |
It's possible if APC present a Northerner also and Obi supporters stop the insults raining on everyone everywhere. Nigeria is not ready to give another northerner or Fulani 4/8 years intead it's quickening the disintegration of the country; thanks to Kanu, Igboho and Akintoye on one hand, also to Hausa/fulani greediness for power at all cost on the other hand. |
PrinceOfLagos:Who asked you? Why are you so ashamed or afraid to claim your mbaise or Isukwato origin again. Make your people proud not using left fingers to describe your source. It's disgusting to be childishly lying everyday on a public forum. |
Can't just understand their politics. The one that baffles me most is that Yorubas should not contest in their respective parties because they would like to contest. Whereas, their people have been contesting for Presidential elections in various parties since 1999 without Yoruba telling them not to contest... |
decatalyst:I stopped engaging these people online when I saw how they rejoiced that more than two thousand harden criminals were set free by ESN in Owerri prison or their devilish supports to criminals killing their law enforcement brethren. Why did ipob formed ESN and staffed them with majority forcefully freed criminals and armed them with guns and the people, the governors (except Umahi) are happy with that? We are just seeing the little beginning of the results of breaking into police stations and prisons. Just look at Soludo, he starts very poorly frolicking with people he should have dealt with as chief law enforcer of his state. He allowed his emotions to start ruining his people and state; he should have learned from Wike. Majority of these people are more concerned about what's happening in the West and North not their own backyard. |
Kinslite:But I read somewhere about permitting only Lagos number plates for commercial activities. |
There should be sensitivity to our diversity. |
I have 04 Vibe (base model not the dragging AWD) to give out but it has Ekiti number plate(don't think I want to go through trouble of changing number) and also if been given will attract 2 sureties and refundable amount for damages. |
Way to go. We simply don't have governments in the SW. There are more than 60k foreigners riding bikes in Ogun alone, well prepared, armed able men! Go to Ogerre, Mowe, Sango, everywhere. Okada was banned in Enugu 2011 and virtually every major town of the SE, SS and in some parts of the North. All of them moved to SW and the naive governments permitted this. Create jobs for only your indigenous okada riders and send others packed but these thieving governors just concern about what to steal and their political relevance endangering the lives of the populace and our future. No police or any security organisation will be able to stop these people when it shall start. Most painful stuff is these insensitive people in government will simply run away... They care little or not for our kids, women and posterity. We missed you, our visionary and foresight leader, Awo... these f..klerry ones calling themselves governors, those gone (except Fasola) and ones to come, just make me very very angry. We're invaded already! |
AutoBodyParts:Exactly. I've written about this; Okpara Avenue (from First Bank to Correctional Center/Prison). |
A good leader is known through People, timber and calibre leaders, he's built or produced. Through efforts in building infrastructures, human development and laying lasting political and economic foundations. |
Frigga13:Whatever they cook, as you said, has no impact on Yorubas... They've produced president for 8 years recently and VP for 8 years; they've got nothing to loose whatever the results. I would advise you worry more about your people that's afraid to even go for the highest post in the country. |
kettykings:You're busted yet you chose to embarrass yourself further... Egunṣin is 'something you pound or break to peel'. You only corrupted it to 'egusi' the same way you did 'Oyinbo' to 'oyibo', Asẹwo to ashawo, Agbero to agboro, Patapata to kpaktakpakta, etc. 'Ọgá' is a noun or adjective meaning superior/senior; 'ó ga' is the verb meaning 'up' or 'rise'. Even in Yoruba, Igbo means 'headbutt', Igbo - group, Igbo - bush/farm or Igbo - hemp, etc. You will soon claim several Yoruba words and slangs that are now prominent in your texts and speeches. |
Same vehicle with little changes; get 2010 4plugs model and you overcome most issues with 07 - 09. |
Most government agencies hardly known what's constitutional or not. One man would just sit in his office and gave blatant order. Just like this (people are still being 'terrorised' on the road for it): Use of Transparent Blue Plastic on Vehicle Number Plate Not an Offence – Court By Peters Ifeoma -November 14, 2018. The High Court of Cross River State in Suit No. HC/363/2017 filed by a legal Practitioner DANIEL KIP against the FEDERAL ROAD SAFETY COMMISSION vide an application pursuant to the Fundamental Rights Enforcement Procedure Rules, 2009, has in a judgment delivered on 5th November, 2018, held that the use of the transparent blue plastic on Vehicle Number plate does not constitute the offence of Vehicle Number Plate violation or any other offence under the Federal Road Safety Act or Section 37 (1) (d) (i) of the National Road Traffic (Amendment) Regulations, 2016. The said section reads thus: “A Vehicle identification Number Plate shall not be tempered with, altered or covered with any material AS TO OBSCURE OR ALTER THE LETTERING” (emphasis ours). It was the argument of the Applicant, Daniel Kip, Esq., whose vehicle was impounded by Federal Road Safety Commission sometime in September, 2017, that the transparent blue plastic on his vehicle number plate, having not obscured or altered the lettering on his vehicle number plate, does not amount to the offence of vehicle number plate violation. Honourable Justice A. E. Ayade in upholding the said arguments of the Applicant, entered judgment in favour of the Applicant and ordered the refund of the N3,000.00 paid as fine, in addition to monetary damages, and a perpetual injunction restraining the Federal Road Safety Commission from further apprehending, fining and impounding the Vehicle of the Applicant for the alleged offence as a result of the said transparent blue plastic on the Vehicle. It is hoped that in the face of this judgment the Federal Road Safety Commission will desist from harassing and intimidating road users over the use of the said transparent blue plastic on Vehicles. |
These people in PDP, their levels of opposition are so childish and myopic. |
The comments above show most Nigerians only read sensational headlines. It's a pity that Gbaja is already being blamed for minority leader, Elumelu's motion in the house floor. People that hated Aregbesola as Osun governor and call him all sorts of name are now his lovers, just because he's fighting Oyetola/Tinubu. A case of 'Aregbe is the enemy of my enemy, so he's a friend for now; Gbaja is a friend of my enemy, so he's enemy and must be wickedly brought down' |
Badadvisor:It's a good buy depending on your budget and the state of the one you're buying (don't rush, get a trusted technician to scan whichever you resolved to buy). It's the first model year; I would have preferred 2013 model. Notwithstanding, it's a reliable car, just watch out for the interior accessories, the AC and bad roads. |
Badadvisor:Look towards 2013-2014 Civic or Corolla; Accord or Camry. |
seunmsg:The problem of Igbo is their emotions. Regardless the civil war, they were in the national politics; although they hate to be in same party with Yoruba majority. Then come Jonathan government, where they have so much individual gains. They couldn't take, believe it or accept his lost in 2015 till date; they insult and blame everyone except themselves. Meanwhile, Ijaws and other S/south people have moved on but not Igbos. Instead of building bridges or re-strategise, it's victims' mentality and more insults for every other tribes forgetting they will one day need some of these tribes votes and supports for either presidency or their cherished Biafra. In a multinational/ethnic politics like Nigerian's one needs tactics, pretex to gain your enemies' supports not abusing them on every online/offline platforms. In this country, I've learnt that whatever Fulanis would do is kept to their innermost... Likewise, one will not even understand what Yorubas are driving at, even though you called them all sorts of name. These two are never emotional but already looking ahead, even when in opposition. |
When we have religious bigots and educated illiterate elites as leaders, there would always be problem because they will set up the poor masses against themselves. The question is why is this hijab becoming issue now? These schools have been in existence for a while and have their uniforms or dressing code with female students using berets. Berets are neither Christians scarves nor Muslim hijabs. It's not good that the government is forcing these schools to change their dress codes; before we know it, trousers will be introduced for females in these schools. I think the executive should approach the house of assembly to pass a bill to this effect (that Christian should do away with berets and change to hijab and scarves) instead of pretex and formenting trouble here and there in the name of religion. Government in Kwara should be concerned more about good delivery of governance to the people rather than causing religious crisis. |
SmartPolician:I knew it would pain you as we don't buy your hypocrisy. Nothing upstairs but insults. |
SmartPolician:You people make little sense or none. Do you know the amount that ugwuanyi, Ikpeasu and your 'great governors' have collected? Just tell us their achievements; after all we knew what Chime, Umahi have done well with same revenues. You have logs in your eyes and mocking someone with pegs in his eyes. PDP already over deceived you people. |
However, in Enugu, Abia, Anambra and many other states, successive governors picked their successors as Godfathers and godsons and there was no much noise. Perhaps, the indigenes of these states look away and focus more on Lagos that has been growing and favoured with better governors and leaders compared with theirs. Ugwuanyi is picking his successor (what are his achievements in almost 8 years?), likewise Udom and the rest. Edo no be Lagos, what are the Obaseki's achievements compared with Sanwo-olu's? |
NoQualmz:Check this platform, check twitter and others, the majority of people that do this are Igbos. It's normal to have oppositions because you don't expect everyone to support you but what your people are doing is pure hate; most time, they even rope his entire race, Yorubas, into it as if all Yorubas are backing him. Even if you want your Biafra to succeed you will still need the support of other Nigerians. You don't just see people of one race or ethnicity as your enemies. |
A very logical submission. A Party ambition is to win with the best candidates, nothing less; can't just trow away their opportunity and loose at the end. Nobody ever restricted Igbos from contesting since 1999. They always have majority contestants, e.g 2007. You need to come out, campaign, if need be fight to be nominated in the major parties. You don't have to single out only one person from a tribe other than yours for campaign of calumny, insults, hate and abusing his entire race and ethnicity while there are others from North and South vying for same position. Some of your leaders even sat together threatening to banish any Igbo that has anything to do with Tinubu. Know this and know peace, you will definitely need Tinubu's people votes, their sagacity and media to become the president of this nation. You must understand the kind of nation you find yourselves, hatred and emotions would get you nowhere; the fulanis and Yorubas already mastering this politics, others like Ijaws, kanuris, etc are joining them. You build bridges, you fight and hate reasonably not drowning in it. It's not compulsory you support Tinubu but single him out for hate, abuses and insults just as you did to president Buhari in 2015 and 2019 will take you no where. As Nigerians, we're all qualified to contest. If Tinubu looses, he will not be the first to loose election in Nigeria. Convert this same energy into positive one and support your candidate. It's funny you're more interested in APC candidate as if you will even vote APC if they gave you the opportunity. Political parties are not NGOs. Abusing Tinubu's race for daring to contest will only bring backlash. You have more to loose in the SW if it becomes an 'eye for an eye'. |
helpee:Ibo lo ti a l'ekiti? Busted! Are you ashamed of your Akara, Isukwato? |
