Northern Christians would make grave mistake voting Atiku over Tinubu. |
He did nothing in Anambra to deserve or get 25% anywhere. It's a pity Ipob supporters have already hijacked his campaign to project their clannish and domineering aspirations Same people that let the whole world knew that Obi did nothing in this thread below are now forcing us to accept him or we get threats or insults https://www.nairaland.com/870945/what-exactly-peter-obi-doing All eggs in one basket again, no lesson learnt from previous elections. Instead of building bridges, they issue insults and threats to others in every online space. They spend most of their efforts to abuse other candidates and their tribes but once others gave their opinions on Obi, they rain down threats and insults on him/her and family. Same format Ipob uses in destroying SE. How can one win an election with such strategy? A mere waste of time and efforts. |
He did nothing in Anambra to lock down anywhere. It's a pity Ipob supporters have already hijacked his campaign to project their clannish and domineering aspirations Same people that let the whole world knew that Obi did nothing in this thread below are now forcing us to accept him or we get threats or insults https://www.nairaland.com/870945/what-exactly-peter-obi-doing They know very well that they have miscalculated again by putting all their eggs in one basket through hate for the rest of the country. They are now trying to drag others like South South with them down into the mud. |
aribisala0:The more ports Lagos has, the light the traffic because Apapa poor traffic will definitely disappeared as there are ports in lekki and Badagry to be used. They should just have a road linkage with Ipokia, Ogun State from Badagry just as lekki is being linked with Ajah, Epe, Ijebu Ode. |
Honjoshy4u:It's funny when an Ipob member is speaking for we Yoruba Christians. Because of tribal bigotry you want us to vote for greedy clannish Obi but we shouldn't vote Tinubu. Why are you guys like this? This noisy format never brought any political gain. Why don't you promote your candidate and leave other candidates? Allow Nigerians to decide. I know a lot of Yorubas that would have abstained from voting for Tinubu but for your noisy campaign of clumsy against him and for Obi, they are ready to vote Tinubu so that you can do your worsts. It's democracy, winners through majority votes not through highest noise and wailing. |
Honjoshy4u:It's not every tribe that add politics with emotions. Osinbajo lost primary and that's democracy; there's nothing anyone can do about that. You are comparing Yorubas that see religion as individual's spirituality with American Trump? Very funny. Politics of spirituality is religion and Yorubas don't believe in divisiveness of religion but in individual spirituality. I know this is difficult for you to understand just as it's difficult for you to understand what we mean by democracy as you keep mentioning Osinbajo. You don't like Tinubu, fine! Don't drag your own opinion or belief down the throat of every other person. Vote your candidate and rest or wait for results. It's so rude and childish for you to be so sure that Yoruba Christians won't vote for Tinubu. From your post, I could see you don't even understand a bit of Yorubas and reasons they made their choices. They are not emotional tribe that can easily be predicted. |
Honjoshy4u:Who's talking about APC? I only responded to your comment that 'SW's Christians wouldn't vote for Tinubu'; letting you know that religion isn't a factor in the SW, it won't be the determiner whether they vote for him or not. |
What's Russia smoking? Another excuse to bomb Nigeria? Hope Nigeria government calls the bluff of Russia if this allegations are fake. |
Reinamaria:Reason it's called 'DEMOCRACY '; your emotions do not count. Vote your candidate and stop blaming a whole ethnicity. This coming election will definitely settle a lot beyond what anyone could imagine. |
They will come online and beat chest about how rich they are. Why should the general public continue to tolerate these whole ilegality being perpetuated against the people and their futures. This is kind of development Indonesia, Malaysia, India, South Africa, etc are rejecting with their whole will. These people can't thrive where you have law and good enforcement. How could normal human being be producing meth in an estate? This must be going on in many private buildings and estates. Walter in Breaking Bad had to use desert. The neighbours should also sue them; their lives and that of their families already endangered. |
Honjoshy4u:So you reason for us in the SW? Your eyes will soon clear. |
Honjoshy4u:Religion can never play a role in SW's voting. People voted Adeleke for many reasons not because he's in PDP or his religion. |
No be juju be that. Just read their comments; after so much grammar, confusion and contradiction, they would arrive at same point without answer to your question. |
As if politicians are religious. |
RealTalkNoBull:Very wrong assumption, Christians are the clear majority by wide margin in the South. Only in the South West you find equal margin but in the South East and South South Christians very very dominant; some places almost 100% except in Edo State. |
Maryjane001:what I mean was that Gowon and his vice chairman were Christians. Fixed already. |
YourHighTension:The reason we have other parties to vote for if one doesn't like his choice. Moreover, this is democracy; some of us should be happy that he will fail with this choice, after all many of us were not going to vote for him before. Tinubu is not a religious fanatic; Christians are more favoured under him and his Pastor wife than under Atiku and Okowa. Restructuring of Nigeria remains the best way out for everyone. However, there are some facts about the present existence of our nation that is sacrosanct. Major constructive competitions of our continued existence are: North Vs South, Christianity Vs Islam and other factors are based on ethnicity and social levels. The presidency is agreeably rotated between North and South. The Muslims are the majority in the North while the Christians are the majority in the South. It's expected that a Muslim presidential candidate from the north will always pick a Christian from the South while a Christian from the South will always pick a Muslim from the north. However, it's difficult for a Muslim minority man from the South to pick his running mate from the Christian minority in the North (Abiola and Tinubu), likewise a Christian minority man from the north picking his vice from minority Muslims from the South if he plans to win. This is democracy (may be the worst form of government for a multiethnicity, multireligious Nigeria), there is political calculation based on demographic factors not emotions. Under the military, Gen. Buhari and Idiagbon were both Muslims likewise Gowon and his vice chairman Christians. |

I don't think it was made compulsory in the NYSC act of 1973 for foreign educated Nigerians. https://www.nysc.gov.ng/aboutscheme.html Tinubu finished his university in 1979 Until 16th June, 1993, when initial NYSC Decree No. 24 which was repealed and replaced. NYSC certificate isn't even compulsory in holding political office. The problem with Adeosun was about fudged certificate on her behalf. So, the Tinubu's antagonists should look for something else to wail on. |
Banana, Avocado and Ishin (Ackee fruit or Blighia sapida).
|
hollandis:Just as Ekweremadu said, Igbos won't vote Obi but their darling PDP, just noise... it's only so called few 'woke' Yorubas, SS and middle belt people that will waste their votes on Obi. |
LeoDeKing:Fake products, hard drugs, factory babies, prostitutes, ugm, sit at home, rushing their entire people to South West, etc |
MrPolitics:It wasn't designed for the Chief Judge or named after one. It was named after Akinola Aguda because he was the chairman of the committee saddled with the relocation of the federal capital from Lagos to Abuja. |
Cypress042:It's 'Heaven' not 'God' and it's just a saying... not a Bible verse. |
Zelenskyy: |
ashewoboy:That's BAO's hometown, Ikogosi; he doesn't have to buy votes to win there, their votes are for their son. |
Zelenskyy:He doesn't need to buy vote in his Ikogosi hometown; the entire place is for BAO. He just gave an elderly woman money, that's a normal thing. |
OP you can approach any media house or court. Many of you wailing about this are not actually going to vote for Tinubu or APC. How did Osinbajo's VP favour Christians? Buhari's wife or Tinubu's wife being Christian would have more influence than any VP. Moreover Tinubu is Omoluabi, religion is dictating nothing; Nigeria Christians has nothing to fear compared with Atiku, another Fulani man, whom Okowa will have no influence on. |
adioolayi:I don't think her husband from Ekiti is even 50 yet, he is very young. Forget what haters usually put forward; looking for very irrelevance to tarnish Tinubu with |
EnglandAmaka:Should we now conclude that PDP has no candidate in 2023 governaship election in Bauchi? |
? That it is the turn of yoruba muslim
