All you gatz do is at least skim Paul Kurtz' book on a universe out of nothing to see an atheist advance the notion. But if it is truly nothing we would not be able to think about it. If indeed we see that the material exists in space (or nothingness) we must perforce assume that nothing has the power to effectuate the something that the material world is. This nothing is intelligence because it is intelligence that percieves matter and the 'nothingness' in which matter exists.
