God cannot be evil nferyn, that is a title reserved for the fallen angel, lucifer. My God is a righteous God and no evil or impurity can be seen in Him. He gives/showeth mercy to whoever asks of Him. Whether murderer or rapist. God sees the heart and will forgive whoever repents of his/her evil ways. If you call that evil, if you call that wicked, that of cause is your opinion. You can continue to stretch your imagination still doesnt change the fact that God is GOD and God was never and will never be evil.

Islam for Muslims / Re: Prophet Muhammad in the Bible by alheri(f): 11:12am On Jan 04, 2006
No kismat, I didnt get lost and miss the point. You are raising issues which do not apply here. To your not so "simple" guestion " why did He choose a Son only?" Who am I to ask God, why? Who are you to ask God, why? If you want to start asking God why on this one issue, then I gues you better start asking God why speak the world into existence in the first place. Is Allah biased by making his last prophet the Prophet Mohammed(SAW) Male and not female according to your beliefs? Please lets just make intelligent discuss here and stop bringing in issues which do not make sence(as far as I'm concerned) and do not relate to the topic been discussed. Why God choose to have a Begotten Son instead of a daughter? You say bias, I say I really don't know but God is " All knowing" and He Knows best why He choose a SON..

nferyn:

but if you honestly repent on your death bed, even after having commited the most atrocious crimes against humanity, you will go to heaven. This is wicked.

This is MERCY.
Religion / Re: Christians: Can a Non-Christian Go to Heaven? by alheri(f): 10:25am On Jan 04, 2006
nferyn:

When someone lives a just life and does good all through his or her life, but does not accept Jesus in his heart, he will go to hell.
Someone who commits unspeakable atrocities, but accepts Jesus on the other hand will go to heaven?

This is wicked.

This is not wicked. You misunderstand. You cannot accept the Lord Jesus sincerely into your heart and continue in your atrocities. The Holy Spirit will help you live a life of righteousness, a life of purity which includes good works. Accepting Jesus, a life of righteousness and good works will get you to heaven, not "good works" alone.

kismat long time, where have you been? Well nice to have you back. As per your comments on the gender equality, funny to say that never crossed my mind. Why do you want to make that an issue? In the Quar'an, did Allah make Adam  Or Eve first? Does that make Him biased? If you say christians are at the fore front of gender equality yet our God is biased, i guess thats your unfortunate opinion. But really how does that affect or concern you? And how does that imply that Prophet Mohammed (SAW) is in the BIBLE? You really dont have to post if you've got nothing reasonable to contribute to the topic discussed and i mean no offence by that.

Yes God has many sons. I am one of them, so is goodguy, prettyH,donnie and co, SO? It still doesnt change the fact that The Lord Jesus is the ONLY begotten son of God!

ono, OMG youre so funny! Well, i dont know much now cause like i said in my earlier posts, my sister is now late(Tuesday 23 August, 2005). I really dont know much about Iweala but what i see on TV. And been a sexiest, I'd say shes a saint. grin (joking). Anyway, there is nothing hidden under the sun. God will surely reveal those of them with two faces.

Akolawole, I just love your pessimism as far as OBJ and Naija are concerned.I really wish I had that kind of hope in our leaders. Dont be too carryed away with El-rufai and his demolitions. That man is wicked! He sacked over 300 civil servants in the FCDA for no just cause and without following due process. Now he wants to eject them unjustly without giving them the option of paying for their houses(they are all willing to pay). Well, the matter is in court now and the judge has said he should not evict till the case is decided. We hope he will listen, considering his area boy tactics.

As for dora, shes my gal anyday. And madam due process.....Hmm is all i can say.

Ol bob's make we leave matter. We are all corrupt. I bet if I put any of you guys in the position of power and authority, you all will do same things or worse so please quit the stoning and lets see how we will make the country great again. lipsrsealed Until we do a moral suation on ourselves, the rot will continue so make we hear word all una wey dey do holy holy 4 here.....

I agree with you in a way. I wouldnt really say we are all " corrupt" I would rather say we are indisciplined. If we could discipline ourselves to turn away and stay off corruption and our way of thinking " awoof no dey run belle", we might have a chance. Most of our leaders dont go into office to "chop and quench". Some actually go there to try and make a difference but i guess it is true that power corrupts, they get their and become un-born again. I remember when OBJ came to power with all his "my life time songs", claiming to be born again. Now see what hes up to. Its reall a pity.

ono, my brotha, pls calm down. We are all bitter about the happenings but breaking up will not help us. It is really a pity what you and your pple in the Niger delta are going through but you guys have traitors amongst you! Alot of your traditional chiefs take money at your expence. If they would stop been greedy and stand up for their people, things might get better.

The thing is that they all ARE corrupt. From those doing the arresting to the arrested. We the younger generation must try not to have the "chop and clean mouth" attitude of our present day leaders. It not even about where they come from cos they all loot.,whether hausa, ibo, yoruba and every other tribe. We are all guilty. So lets not take things personal.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO NIGERIANS

ono youre very funny indeed!

As to the question who is fighting corruption in Nigeria?,my answer is: They hearts of "Nigerians" is fighting corruption. We all want it to stop but we are all contributing in one way or the other. We would all rather give a small "tip" to the policeman on the road than be delayed unneccessarily for hours. The spirit is willing but the body it weak. May God help us all.

Yes a guy and a gal can be JUST friends. I have a male friend who Ive known since 96, he is basically my best friend. I met my husband through him and we are now all friends. I love him like i do my brothers. When i talk of family, he is on my list. Nothing sexual/intimate has ever happened between us. Infact he was my friends boyfriend in school before we graduated and she left him and got married to some one else.

Thank you jakumo. Where have you been anyway? Well, we're all entitled to our opinions. I've been staying in Abuja since 96, just about a year after the sit a power was finally moved. I stayed at the legislative quaters(my mum and siblings still do) as a neighbour to a lot of top shots in Abuja. Most of what I have said where relayed by reliable sources. That is why i said you all can cross check if you like. They are ALL chopping our money and for us to sit and think that its not so just cause of a few scape goats is beyond me. I mean we used to watch the distribution(in the middle of the nite) of ghana must go bags in those days before the N500 & N1000 notes came out. Do you remember the furniture/car(3.5M & 4M) allowances that was publicized some years back? We were all made to believe that the furniture will be left behind by the Legislators. Did that happen? NO! I know that for sure.
How can someone be syphoning from your cash flow and you wouldnt know? With all the gossips he has around him, dont you think one of them could have mentioned it to him. This has been going on since his first term oh!
Romance / Re: If Your Girlfriend Gets Pregnant Unexpectedly by alheri(f): 4:49pm On Dec 30, 2005
If your girl gets pregnant unexpectedly, you dont have to marry her unexpectedly. Marriage is not a thing to joke about. If youre sure youre responsible for the pregnancy, accept it and show support to your girl. If you love her enough and have the means, then you can think about marriage. Dont allow any one (gal, parents, siblings, friends) to force you into anything. Marriage isnt always the best option. It can cause more harm than good sometimes. Just learn from your mistakes. If she keeps the baby and you guys remain together, you now know better. If she aborts, you still know better. You'll be more careful in the future, whether together or not. I am not supporting abortion here, it just that people do these things and though wrong it still happens.
Family / Re: Am I About To Lose My Son? by alheri(f): 4:34pm On Dec 30, 2005
Your new girl suggesting the baby is yours only shows shes a malicious, mean thing. As for oi, talk to her. Like bagoma said, she just doesnt want it to be like its cos of the kid youre still with her. Women are different and we have lots of issues. She is going through a phase now. She needs space to think things through. Keep in touch with her but do not crowd her. For your sons sake, try a little harder and be patient. If after a while she doesnt come about her attitude, then you could end it. You cant stop your life cos of her. But I will advise you to look for some other nice girl .That your so called new gal is not a goood person to insinuate to you that your child isnt yours.

Health / Re: Why Do Women Hate Smoking? by alheri(f): 1:52pm On Dec 30, 2005
Well i think one of the main reason women hate smoking is cos its harmful to them as mothers. It is harmful during pregnancy. But lets not generalize cos some women smoke. Women up north smoke alot, sometimes even more than the men.

well my dear, you know say them nor dey know finish. Even your sources can still be wrong in as much as there were right insdie the cooking pot.

True whiteshark, but i cant be in boiling a pot of meat and come out smelling like fish. I am sure of my facts. My sister had no reason to lie(she was also chopping) and if you disbelieve anything you can make your own investigations about the Abebe and Karu road issue. My sources are right as far as am concerned except you can prove me otherwise. My sister was an accountant in the villa, you can cross check that. And L---a was Mrs  Abebes daughter(a widow), crosscheck that too. And the issue of the karu roads is no news, at least to those of us that stay/stayed in Abuja.
