ojukwu was an evil demonic man (Aljannun nan)
he was a man that wanted power at all cost like hitler and wanted to rule and make people suffer
he was a very sadistic man, who did not care if he sacrifice igbos and other people to push his agenda to power
he was and is the greatest coward in the history of mankind till date
he left his people during a war and ran to ivory coast, and left his people to the hands of fate |

Beaf: 1. Open your dictionary and find out the meaning of "delta" 2. Grab an atlas, first locate Nigeria, then locate Niger River and its delta
They say, "ignorance is no excuse before the law." Someone should extend that to the internet. what are u insinuating listen to yourself, so because that region is a delta, u ppl decided to name it that there is nothing like nigerdelta because it is just 2 states balysa and rivers don't u get stop this ur indivalistic view to keep ur identity

babasoty: funny, when you say broke away that means that means they should share some common traits or culture, why don't you list any and also show proof of they being part of the Benin kingdom, don't post comments you can't back up with facts to boost your egocentric and bloated ego, you ridicule yourself that way, just accept facts and take it as a learning process it would really help you than war-war over something you cant back up.Education is a progressive discovery of our own ignorance ---Will Durant , why, oh why Beaf: Dude, this is one of the numerous sideways attacks we should expect from tribal supremacists. They see the area as packed with small sized ethnicities they feel they should lord it over; but each time they get near they get a bloody black eye! Warri no de carry last (extrpolate that to Yenegoa, Port harcourt and pilele)!
Their style is to first say our area doesn't exist, next (just as alj harem has done) they will say our ethnic groups do not exist; if they aren't confronted now, they will finally walk into our compounds and tell us that our kids are bastar'ds and our wives are theirs for the taking. We need to pull together to fight off outside tribalists and stoutly protect and empower our smallest groups, whether they be Anioma Igbo, Isoko or Itsekiri etc. There are many wolves and vultures at the door. i want to ask u a question what is nigerdelta is it a zone it is a geo-political zone is just where the sub-south-south group minorities are playing games or is it just an expression use to define minorities |

Aigbofa: God bless you too. But just out of curiousity, what happened between:
Yesterday
The least your yeye people could do is stay out of a conflict between the Igbo and the Hausa. But like a weak people, you strike at a people when were not protecting our rear. That is the opportunistic nature of your people.
The children of Oduduwa are known betrayers. You all betrayed the Igbo, and now you all have betrayed the Hausa. Everyone in Nigeria knowns the depth that the Yoruba will sink to maintain at least a small bit of power.
You Yorubas were jealous of the Igbo prowess and could not wait to see us fall. But now we regained our former glory and are competing with you all in your own land. Now kiss my arse and tell me how it taste.
and
Today
I think I shall tone down my rhetoric concerning the Yoruba. Many children of Oduduwa supported Biafra and this cannot be forgotten my Igbo brethren.
My Igbo brothers and sisters, let us not paint the Yoruba people in one stroke. They are a dynamic people, with different views. My favorite Nigerian professor who is Yoruba supported Biafra as well.
Even though I hate Awolowo with a passion, I must say that there are good Yorubas who know the truth.
God bless them and I take back all the horrible things I have said concerning these wonderful people. the igbo know haw to talk about us hausa there dire not talk rubbish, |

babasoty: @bluetooth
I don't seem to get your points, what do you want defined for you, before the term Nigeria came into place their was the term called oil rivers protectorate, it was later called the Niger Coast Protectorate by the British and these was all before the advent of Nigeria being in existence, the Niger delta area was initially made up presently 3 states rivers, bayelsa and delta, your confusing the region where the tributaries of the river niger pass through and the geograpic locations where oil is found in the south region, It was for political reasons and for the locations of oil that Obasanjo included some other states into the region. if you say there is no niger delta region you can as well say there is no Nigeria because even Nigeria was culled from NIGER-AREA. u are very correct |

It only goes to prove my point that people arguing about the existence of the Niger Delta are thoroughly ignorant and loud. no one said niger/delta did not exist, it existed but no as a geo-political zone, until now all i am saying is that some of it is part of alaigbo kingdom and some of it is part of the yoruba/benin kingdom |

kakakibuy: The entity we know as Nigeria was a mistake from the very beginning but seeking to separate or divide the country isn't the wisest decision because times have changed. At this time, forming strong alliances based on common ground and interest is the only way people can remain relevant and competitive in this new global village. If Nigeria breaks, what we will be left with a small clueless countries that will become easy pawns in the hands of super powers whose primary goal is profit- profit-PROFIT. What we need in Nigeria is good governance and a reasonable starting point towards achieving this goal is True Federalism and a decentralization of power. As it stands there's too much power in the centre. We must not also rule out education and when I say education I don't mean some halftruth you learn in your classroom but a proper education in the workings and values of society where every Nigerian is fully aware of his fundamental human right as a citizen and his role in the society. A society which understands that politics is a call to service and not a call to get rich. And that a politician is answerable to the people who elected him. We cannot get here in one day but going our separate ways will only take us father away from our goals. spot on !!! |
