According to a statement, the meeting acknowledged Yoruba and Itsekiri historical, social and political ties and rejoiced at the renewal of the ties. RoadStar: Yes I did and it said nothing of itsekiris joining Afenifere. The only had a joint meeting.
Last time I checked MEND and OPC where at loggerheads. ACN is not Awo because Tinubu is not an Awoist.
I can see your not smart enough Cant even put up a valid argument. Continue in your ignorance I've got nothing further to say 2 u lol, itsekiri join the ties between them and yorubas and yet u see nothing in it who told you the mend is itsekiri mend or are there no other groups in mend again i can see u are ignorant and know nothing about mend or anything about ND all my arguement were backed with facts, where are yours. or u just type rubbish each time u feel like |

RoadStar: Dude your posts are empty and dont say anything u claimed. You keep on shifting the goalpost and being posting verbose write-ups. Stay in a place so that I can take aim.
Dude there are even yorubas who hate Awo, he has always struggled for power even within his own yoruba clan. Even the likes of Ladoke Akintola, Tinubu, OBJ and Abiola have absolutely no respect for him.
The minorities my midwest part of the country detested the guy. Zik pulled the strings and gave them their own region releiving them from the west. Till date the activity of Awo is causing problems in warri amongst ethnic groups that have always live peacefully. And then came Asari Dokubo right there on yoruba soil.
And your here making frivulous claims. RUBBISH ! ok yes there are yorubas that hate awolowo just like there are northerners that hate bello and igbos not even easterners that hate both ojukwu and nnamdi secondly if mid-west hate awolowo but still join afenifere an awoist party formed by awolowo by the itsekiri http://www.vanguardngr.com/2009/08/yoruba-itsekiri-to-strengthen-ties/thirdly edo people or bini are also in awoist party http://www.vanguardngr.com/2009/08/n-delta-afenifere-cautions-against-military-assistance/also have u heard of ACN which it is regional party which EDO is part of lastly, as i said Niger delta people hate both yorubas and igbo but they hate igbos more and the yoruba just because of awolowo so what are you talking about I would advice you to stop notice i bring out facts |

adejoro75: Islamic banking may be a good idea as practiced in sane countries Nigeria and its people, especially the muslims up north, are not the sanest of humans So, the Nigeria version of islamic banking will most certainly be a different type than practiced in other climes How will Buhari winning have modified the isalmic banking? I don't think Buhari would have changed the system of Islamic banking since it was not his Idea but a unique system on his own. Boko haram would have been stopped because Buhari was a military man that has the right tactics to stop boko unlike jonathan |

All that has not stopped Tinubu from openly Insulting his family ! And Asari Dokubo calling him a "Devil".

chino11: Anuofia mention the names of those that worked harder than the Great Zik in the actualization of Nigerian Independence?Huh? Onye ara I hope you will not mention that un-recognized, treasonable crook Awalawo who out of envy tried to over-throw the FG. Zik's burial site belongs to the FG, that is why they are sinking millions to build Ziks Mausoleum in Onitsha Anambra state. The same way they are building his birth place in Niger state. Aren't you ashamed that FG have not done anything to immortalize your lazy and uneducated 'leaders' Awalaowo?Huh?? Your talking nonsense, I asked you why have Nigerian gov continue to honour a non-achiever?Huh Until you answer that question will continue to remain an have i not showen awolowo and ehanero did the same |

kpogede77: THAT IS MY MAN I felt my spirit moving in him, he has touched on the burning issues that are hurting my body and soul that is always making me to have the tendency to kill any Hausa Fulani on sight. I look at those living in my area as living corpse. This man has given me one reason to like Igbo people for their boldnes in addressing issues without fear. In spite of the killings during the civil war, they are not afraid of war because they are very sure of their prosperity in a new country. Unlike those sycophants in government now who will be incarcerated tomorrow if Hausa take over government. One thing is sure, if Jonathan fail to do the right thing now, he will be killed by his own people when he is out of power. Nigeria will eventually end up in civil war if the right thing is not done. In the the course of fighting, they will shoot GEJ with annoyance for being responsible for the war for not doing the right thing. This is a universal law: When an imbalance is created in a system that is in equilibrium(West R, Eastern R and Northern R) there must be a continuous reaction until the balance is restored. The Ijaws in the creek don't even see GEJ presidency as a solution to their problem, they still come all the way from Beniseide and Ogbotobo in Bayelsa state through the creek to buy pure water and petrol from Warri because there is no portable water there. A journey of 2500 T fare. Jonathan cannot solve their problem with this present structure, imagine the northerners boasting that they stop the increment of derivation from 13% to 25% because it was not in the interest of the north, is that not an insult to my grand father in the village who has over 10 oil well behind his house? Binladin was not a poor man but he fought and died for what he believed in. hey urhobo boy, was it not your people that voted for joanthan in numbers did buhari not promise SNC while you ideeiots were all voting 99% for jonathan from your delta state to ebonyi mumu's lets just live with nigeria like that ( for better for worse till death of the last male and female do us apart) or did ribadu and tinubu not call for the same. rubbish Let me see you touch any hausa/fulani and see what eould happen to delta state within 24hours |

duality: why won't boko haram ask for amnesty. truth is, we can't continue like this. some of us from the niger delta are just so sentimental about this issue. this is not development. the money spent on this amnesty program alone can turn my state into a mini london if used judiciously. what we need in our region is development. i just left my state yesterday and i keep asking when will my delta state change to what it supposed to be. for me, they should stop this nonsense amnesty now. they have done enough. its now time to send Julius beggar, rcc, etc into the region and turn it around build more refineries in the region. set up industries. this to me, is the amnesty we need. this is what will benefit both the militants and the non militants. i hope your brothers would reason like you. people are not look at it as national issue but as an ethnic issue with is stu.pid |

Reference: Inept thinking by government once again. How it intends to sustain this kind of program over the long term beats me. These people need jobs, the region needs infrastructure badly. Does it take a guru to put one and one together. Put them to work, real work so that they can earn real salaries. If what they do, their trades can support those salaries let it be. It is real work that creates real expectations.
But I'm one hundred percent sure that all projects are still in the hands of government apologists and the enemies of Nigeria that fritter away our resources and send the rest to Switzerland. Give these people roads to construct, bridges to build, rail lines to lay, refineries to instal. When these roads fail, bridges collapse and refineries implode then we wil all know our limits, learn the hard way and tailor our expectations. That is development.
^^^^ considering that alot of law abiding Nigerian graduates are out there unemployed and patiently hoping some day God almighty will help them out. hoping Job even with a minimum wage of 20k to manage body and soul.To eat and shower.
Now that is development but that would not solve the problem The amnesty program is intent to give militants money monthly without working or lifting a finger. Yet this people are still doing militancy. I dey laff oooo. Now all the money they have gotten from amnesty, can they not use it to start there own business if they are not lazy set of people. Now you think if the Fg provide job for them, they will stop the militancy and start working like sensible human being. Certainly not!!!!!! When last have you heard of OPC fighting When last have you heard Bakassi boys fighting even as their land was given to another country where they are discriminated against and killed on daily bases. Please lets look at things here and see that this people are just fighting for Money and power just like boko haram? |

EzeUche: If that means putting my people first before all others. If that means coming to the defense of my people. If that means having a strong cultural identity that is deeply rooted in my Igboness.
I shall gladly take up that mantle regardless of how others feel.
It is only in Africa, where the word "tribalist" is used as a derogatory word. ok good topic |
