According to the book Equianoism, isbn 978 978 908 474 6, the Olukumi are the Igbos who once occupied Ile- Ife- go read up on Queen Moremi. Given that history, it's no suprise Yoruba's understand some of the words the LUKUMI IGBOS speak.
nope, if u read it well, u would see that it was an invasion force that migrated which moremi defeated them in

infact u can watch the movie

olukumi leader talks

Reacting to efforts aimed at protecting Oluku mi, Prince Adebowale said, "I am an Oluku mi man and I am proud of my language. I am not happy that Igbo language is interfering with our language. We are trying our best to correct the situation and part of that is what my brother (the Oloza) is doing by organising an Oluku mi reciting competition. We want to know the people who can speak the real Oluku mi without mixing it with Igbo or English." As laudable as the task of protecting Oluku mi by the people of Ugbodu(mila) is, only time will tell how far they can go.

Alj-haram,
we have traditional rulers the same way we have eze ndiigbos. So, it's left for SA to act as a bridge between those leaders and the gov't, inorder, to effectively fill that lacuna that is prevalent in the gov't-masses relationship. There's no way an onye ndu(eze) ndiigbo will exclussively sublimate his service to the imolites, but, this SA will work for the interest of the imolites. She'll help in harnessing the needs of imolites resident in lagos.
kasiem,

there is oba of yorubas in jos but still i am waiting to see SA for plateau affires in plateau and rivers states where there are high populations of yorubas

same with he hausa, they have emir in lagos but i am waiting to see SA for lagos affires

but since it is his state, then i have no say. i think Imo state has money to spend so let them do

Does it matter what state I am from in the South-East? I could live anywhere in Igboland and feel comfortable. My father has houses in every South-East state and that includes a house in Owerri. Rochas improving Imo state also has an impact on me regardless of my state of origin.
so when u go to lagos and abuja u feel uncomfortable

see ur reasoning very myopic .smh

I hate insulting the Yorubas and 1 expect you to respect the Eastern region,my adopted region.
We have only 1 monster to fight, the northern beast.
Zik n Awo are all heros, but both of them bleeped up.Awolowo playd a significant role in the starvation of Biafra n there4 help perpetrated 1 of the greatest genocides in human history. He equally betrayd Ojukwu cos the agreement was to declare Oduduwa Republic along Ojukwu's Biafra.
I sincerely love d Yorubas, but Awolowo is the fool among thm.A thief,a murderer n an over hyped n praised fool.
Ojukwu is my hero n Biafra is my religion
and yoruba love igbos as well. we connect well in lagos and there is no yoruba in lagos without an igbo friend. that is the reality. the civil war really destroyed our relationship which is very sad

1. awolowo did not starve biafran children, go read saro and boro diaries on biafra

2. awolowo did not bleep up in any way. not even one

It's quite obvious that lagos harbors most of the igbos, since his gov't is fashioned in line with the interest of the masses, he has to put in place measure to ascertain the needs of his people. So, it's not a vacuous step to appoint a person through which u can connect to that people. Okay, are we saying that if we had gotten a special adviser on northern affairs, our governors will be delaying on taking actions in light of killing of their citizens? Since lagos harbors highest number of imolites, there's need to pay adequate attention on that place.
On uche's appointment, he said that it'll help in jettisoning the cost of hiring m.c's anytime the gov't have functions. Also, uche will help in building new talents in his area. Reminisce, rochas minimized the salary of all the appointed officials to cut spending, and his deputy was made the commissioner for works. So, dont miscontrue rochas as the extravagant type, cos he's being remoted by any god-father.
1.  We have Eze ndigbo of lagos and other igbo leaders across the country that does igbo affires

2.There is no connection there, what would a SA do for imolites or as u put it igbos in lagos. They have a power or jurisdiction to control anything in lagos and indeed other states of the country

3. Also we have ohaneze branches in almost every state if not all, so what is there job if not to protect the interest of igbos in different states.  Now what is the job as SA to lagos affires

4 the highlighted point is the most comical reason I have ever seen by the politican to steal money before. Did he appoint him as a DJ or what. How does he intend to reduce the cost of hiring M.Cs or does he have special powers to do that. Once a governor visits a state, the most likly thing to happen is for him to meet the state governor which would have prepared all the necessary things he needs to use in the state.

5. He minimised there salary but in the he is still wasting more, check point 2-4

6 what god-father?

By the grace of God, our airport will be completed soon.
