This is the same thing happening in Morocco and other African countries. Moroccan youths are leaving the country en masse and those that do not have the wherewithal to leave are praying using these Quranic verses saying:

you are right. The book influenced me a lot too during my undergraduate. But I later realised bigger problems in Islam that his boom cannot solve. I later left Islam.

I was influenced by many books and authors such as

- the mathematics miracle in Islam (especially the verse that says *over it are sixteen)

- bible Qur'an and science

- anatomy of the Qur'an (a rejoinder to JGO moshay by Yusuf mabera)

- Concept of God in major religion by Dr zakir naik

- Qur'an and modern science conflict or conciliation by Dr zakir naik.

- many books and videos by haruna yahya especially those that refute evolution.

I didn't leave Islam out of ignorance. I am a very sure that Islam is not the absolute truth but I admit it has benefit but also contains dangerous teachings

Sorry to say this but u left Islam out of ignorance.
U left because u compared Islamic teachings vs what the Muslims practise. In that regard, many pastors too are not following the teachings in the Bible.
The so called dangerous teachings are products of wrong human interpretations while some are based on Arab cultures, traditions and what's trending at the period Islam was founded. Islam modified some laws being practised thousands of years ago so do Bible, that doesn't mean it teachings are useless today.
U can still be a good Muslim if u had ignored the so called dangerous teachings. Even Christianity has got dangerous teachings.
Nothing can never be perfect to humans, even the way of life and laws we enacted ourselves are not completely accepted by some of us. Are all the laws u use today based on the Christianity or atheism u accepted?
Man is not perfect, so also nothing would be perfect in our eyes. The place, habit, religion u abandoned is what others took as the best for them.
If the religion or way of life u practise now is not perfect. Then, it's not better than Islam.
If you're looking for a perfect religion (the one u agree with all it teachings) u will die without a religion. If you're looking for a perfect friend (without faults), u will die without a friend, and if you're looking for a perfect life (without problems), u will die of depression. For it takes perfection to recognise perfection. The fact that u don't agree with some Islamic teachings, doesn't make the teachings wrong.
Conformity and listening to what others say about ur religion or way of life, made u to convert to what u deemed to be generally acceptable. It's a test from God, bound to happen in the end of days. Many shall be tempted to abandon Islam. Blessed are those who passed the test.

Through sex humans procreate. With the rate of useless and wayward children this generation breeds, isn't it better we pray for good, obedient and godfearing children before sex should in case it metamorphoses into pregnancy?
Only godless people sees it as absurd, but if you're religious u won't see anything wrong with that.
Lastly, if u don't like or believe in a religion, avoid all threads related to it. Religion is a way of life, don't condemn other people's way of life in order that u may establish ur godlessness.

Some rich men give their children money not good upbringing, and the poor have nothing to give, so their children engage in prostitution to meet their needs and later end up with unwanted pregnancies. The love of money has made a lot of ladies/guys to go against their good upbringing. How would u describe Sadiya's case? Did she lack money or good upbringing?
I don't have RIP to waste, because her father should have built good and well equipped hospitals when he was the governor of his state, but he chose to loot his state in order to secure better future for his children. Unknown to him that death was the future he had secured for his daughter.

Guys who never had fathers in their lives may never believe in marriage. They'll do to other women what their irresponsible fathers did to their mothers (same with ladies). Children raised by single Mums are liable to be wayward and irresponsible.

If parents who Always fight are abusing their children emotionally, what about parents who never got married? Their children were abandoned by their irresponsible father, and their mother single handedly raised them. Can u imagine the emotional and psychological problems the children would pass through? That's y the children of nowadays r inhumane.
To be married is to be responsible, if u don't want to be responsible in ur life, don't bring any child to life and abandon them with their mothers.
