Depends. WES is faster (7 weeks) than ICES (14 weeks). These timelines are from receipt of all your documents. However, WES requires WAEC for the Bsc unless you did it outside Nigeria. WES also sometimes requires verification and your school may or may not be responsive to this. WES is also cheaper if you evaluate both at the same time (one fee) as opposed to ICES that will charge you per evaluation. So these are some things to consider. Angelaoleru: 2 Likes |

PGD is not typically evaluated as a Masters. They're two different types of degrees. You might consider looking into how your CRS score would look like with 'two or more certificates' - your Bsc and your PGD. Angelaoleru: 1 Like |

What did you do during NYSC? Your work experience that you will use to claim points for EE will be based on what you actually did during your service year, not what you graduated with or what you are good at. segundpundit: |

The provinces that have an Express Entry stream usually just pick from the pool. A lot of times it is based on the NOCs they feel that they need in the province. Other provinces have streams you can apply to. Check the PNP thread for more info. You don't need a second profile to attract interest from the provinces. Just fill out your profile as accurately as possible. (Keep in mind that provincial route can be longer o - so have patience). But if you have 439 you can also consider adding another certificate or retaking IELTS for more points. MaSisi: |

Invitations are not based on luck now. Once your CRS is at or above the score for that draw, you'll get ITA. The only exception is if your score is exactly at the score of the draw and tie breaking rule affects you MaSisi: 1 Like |

Have you simulated your CRS score with two or more certificates vs. waiting for your Masters? If your points are enough to get ITA with two or more certificates (the two you've already evaluated), you can enter the pool with that. If you want to use Masters to enter the pool, you will still need to evaluate it with WES or any other ECA body. I would suggest you simulate your score with the two or more and with your IELTS to see where you stand currently. OluwaFavored: |

I think you have to mention the boy in your application and declare him to avoid misrepresentation. You will need POF to cover him and medicals for him, even if he is not accompanying you. He can be claimed as a dependant as long as he is a child of you or your husband. Who he is currently living with is not an issue. If eventually he wants to migrate with you, you *may* have to get consent from the mother as the boy is still a minor. It is acceptable. However if the pension is in Nigeria it is usually only up to 25% of it that can be easily withdrawn, and that's the 25% you can add to your POF. Not 100%. Headnotthetail: 1 Like |
