You don't have to transfer everything, but she will do a letter explaining that you as the primary applicant will have access to the funds for settlement.

Applying with non-accompanying spouse is possible. However, you will need to declare yourself as married, and mention your wife and kids in your application even if they are non-accompanying. You will still need proof of funds to cover your wife and both of your kids. All three of them will also need medicals.

Just start the process...you never know, she may change her mind along the way.

Let me make a BIG shout out to you all here. I have been reading everything relating to this trend in the past two weeks to really really be informed but I still have very sensitive questions unanswered.

First, I have made personal calculations from the 8777 preliminary eligibility test. I am married with 2 kids of 5 and 7. Spouse with HND and I have masters and ages 35 and 31. Been running a registered company since 2013 in Real Estate, Sales, Installation and maintenance of security equipment, Agriculture (Fish farming, Fish feed production & Palm Plantations) and general contractor with both private, corporate organisations and government. My wife is the GM of the company but have refused to listen to anything about IELTS (lol maybe she doesn't see the value of the attempt as much). So back to calculating wit Non accompanying spouse the score was very high but with accompanying spouse without IELTS drops the scores.
Now, will it be possible to run all this alone and later add my family? I really want to be thoroughly schooled here. PLEASE!!!

You can fax them a copy using hellofax. Search Nairaland for hellofax and the steps will pop up. Ensure your WES reference number is on the cover page.

This only applies to certificates, not your transcripts. Hellofax gives five free pages so that should cover your multiple certificates.

Sort out your ECA with WES or any other evaluation body that you choose. The ECA will likely take months. You can do both at the same time.

I don't think she will need to do ECA and the rest.

I don't think IRCC recalculates CRS if the marriage genuinely occurs after AOR. You can check with others who got married post AOR. Also check the post below and follow the links.

I saw two responses above. I agree with them and I don't think hernia surgery is a serious disease. You stated that there were no complications.

If you want to mention it to make you sleep better, you can go ahead. But it is not something you have to have ongoing treatment/monitoring for.

I had an inguinal hernia (a.k.a. sports hernia) surgery 5 years ago. No complications. I started my involvement in sports a month after the surgery.

Do you think I should answer "Yes" to the question asking about "serious diseases or physical or mental disorders" under statutory questions?

I checked the noc 4423 (skill level C).
Is that the correct noc to pick for a paramilitary personnel (FRSC precisely) and considering skill level/type C, what is the right place to be; EE or PNP etc.
Mainwhile, I have OND and HND in computer science and 8 years working experience as a paramilitary personnel.
I have equally working in different departments from being Admin and Human resources assistant, computer operator, and also as leading team for patrols simultaneously.
Please my people, kindly help me review and show me the path to follow.

For your Express Entry profile (pre ITA), just mention that work experience that you have a reference for. As long as it was paid, full time, and within the last ten years.

Post ITA, you should mention the forex trading in your personal history.

It won't affect your application as long as things are disclosed correctly.

You will need updated proof of funds to cover her, as per family of two. She will also need to do medicals and biometrics.

He can choose whether the spouse is accompanying or non-accompanying. However, he MUST declare that he has a spouse and child. He will need proof of funds to cover all three of them. Also medicals for all three. Whether they are accompanying him or not.

If age is still on his side, he might not need his wife to do IELTS or an ECA (since she has no degree/certificate) for points.

Also, she does not need to have a degree or certificate to do IELTS.

He wants to join the EE race however the wife is not educated and if applied as married may not get him ITA. Question: Can he apply as single, settle in Canada then do court wedding afterwards to sponsor the wife? Also the child they have together won't he be affected? Thanks guys... You can do it yourself. Add that N1.2m to your proof of funds. Age and qualifications (Masters) are on your side. Have you simulated your CRS yet? Use 8777 to simulate IELTS results if you haven't taken it yet.

I was at an agency that does visa package for people. So I inquired about Canada express entry, the cost and the requirements.
So the MD told me that I was gonna pay #1.2m but I have to firstly pay 300k as this would enable them start neccessary registrations and documentation.
The 300k also inclein WES evaluation and also preparation for IELTS exams.
The MD asked about my age and my qualifications. My masters result is not yet ready as I just clocked 28years.
The MD said I'm going to pay up the raining 900k once the visa is ready.

My question now is that, is it advisible to go through that agency for express entry even though the company is registered and legitmate? Or better atilli can do it myself.

Note: one year work experience.

WES sends soft copies. If it doesn't arrive on the stated day of completion, should be max 1 - 3 days after that.

Yes you can. Your friend can scan it to you and then she sends you the hard copy whenever it is convenient. If you are using WES, they'll send you a soft copy when they're done with the ECA as well.

BCS can be considered as academic, not necessarily just professional. It comes with a transcript.

Some professional courses just have a certificate of completion or something. WES usually requires a transcript.

That's why I highlighted the word MOST, as there is some room for interpretation[b] on the part of WES.[/b]

I have a very important question to ask. A friend of mine has a Bachelors degree in Economics. After graduation, he attended a 3 months course organized by the British International Safety Organization and obtained ‘HSE level 3’’. Can these be analyzed as two certificates by WES? What if he also has other certificates of short courses like the ‘fire safety and Risk Assessment’ issued by the department of petroleum resources of a ministry?

Yes...as long as you have paid the WES fee and you've gotten a reference number. Make sure the reference number is indicated on the cover letter or clearly written on a PHOTOCOPY of the certificate.

Nope. Points for Masters is more than points for Two or more certificates, which in turn is more than the points for a Bachelor's degree. So Masters plus BSc evaluation doesn't help you in terms of points. Ask them to remove the Bsc and evaluate only the Masters.

(Some people choose to evaluate the BSc for their own personal reasons or for subsequent use when they land in Canada, but that will not help you to increase CRS)

The evaluation can take months, so start with that and reach out to your school to send the required documents to your ECA body of choice. Then when you have sent the documents and you're waiting for the report, register for IELTS (General Training) and prepare well. You'll need a minimum of 8777 for LRWS.
