godfrey01: You nailed it.. I am still single and searching... You are right in all your points... But if you agree that man is the head, then the woman should answer to him whatever he says... the word "HEAD" is pregnant... you can either be a HEAD or FIGURE HEAD! There is no in between! Only a figure head will ask for his fiancée account balance... Choose whichever one you wanna be |

godfrey01: Remember the bible says women be submisive to your husband and your husband will be submisive to you... Remember he is the one that made the first move to ask you about the balance.. And once you show him your own he can then show you his own... Submisiveness..... husbands love your wife, and wife be submissive to your husband that's what my bible tells me, and the same bible said, a man that cannot provide for his family is worse than an infidel (I'm sure you will not see that part)well, I don't have a problem if he choose to be an infidel. I wonder what brought about submission here, but since you now want to use the bible to justify your 'point' oya let's talk bible. The bible said the man is the HEAD of the home.. now one of the duties of the head is what? I'll leave that for you to answer. Women should be a help mates to the head (husband ) now the duty of an help mate is what? To help the head when he is stuck (and not just financially ) What the husband shoild do is ask his mate for assistance not ask for her account balance like it's his right! And in yur own case, you are not even married amd you are already asking for your fiancée act balance how does that even sound to you And when you want to get married, your wife-to-be, parents of both side amd yourself contribute to the success of the marriage financially! Iv not even seen where a groom to be is the sole financial contributor towards his wedding. Sometimes I just wonder if some NLders are from a different planet And at the bold part, I don't care about his account balance, he should keep it to himself. |
Romance › Re: Before U Marry Her, Ask Her For Her Account Balance. by amokeme(f): 7:36pm On Apr 01, 2016 |
godfrey01: Marriage they say is the union between a man and a woman to become husband and wife. It has become a norm that ladies are the one who make all the plans for the marriage while the man do the financial provision.. In chemistry, when two elements wants to bond together, both element donate whatever they have in order to form a strong bond within themselves. So guys before you marry any girl, ask her to show you her bank account balance.. Both most contribute... Or is it wrong to ask a girl you want to marry her bank account balance you think men are solely responsible for the financial aspect of a wedding ceremony? Nah... The man is involved, the wife is, and both parents also. And my man can't ask me my account balance, just like that I don't have a business with yours, so he shouldn't have a business with mine |

Lol, you certainly don't know the meaning of a "Mummy's boy" HardMirror @ Kalushaiyke you right, I'm wondering where the OP got his own defination from. And why will any girl stop her "bf" from caring for his mum . If you want to know a caring man, find out how he treats and talks to his mum and sisters. And "Mummy's boys" are guys that depend solely on their mum for everything. Some of them don't work, infact I have a family friend that is 31 and still collects pocket money from his mummy while his sister that is just 25(the last born) is working and buying stuff for the parents o, the brother is waiting for inheritance. now I personally can never date someone like him. Mummy's boy depend on their mum for fuel, to buy them cars, to pay their house rents (if atall they are not leaving with her) seek her opinion in everything, some grown men even seek the opinion of thie mum for something as little as what to wear! Please I don't need that kind of person in my life, what happens if mummy dies? What happen if the family business he depends on crumbles? And even if it doesn't , how can someone who doesn't know how to manage his life manage a business?? How will he find his feet when all the money he hoped on disappear?? I can't deal with such "men" |

That was few years back.., I asked my daddy for money, and he said I should come to the office to get it (ontop how much ) So I told him I can't that he should please give me before he goes in the morning, he said "ok iv heard you " (lol, he had his own plans) So that morning, when I woke up, all relaxed and all, not knowing the day was going to be terrible for me, went to my daddy's room to ask for the money, he said "ill call you when I'm leaving" I gladly said ok.. After about 30mins, I went to the kitchen to drop something o.. I just saw him inside the car alrdy.. really smiling. I just started shouting while runing down the stairs "daddy daddy this is not fair o it's not fair o, wait wait " I fell down and bruised one of my toe.. and the nail came out God!!! It was painful! And it didn't come out entirely, a little flesh was holding it, my mummy had to pull it out ah, iv never felt such pain. My daddy ended up not going to work that day sef |

dayowunmi: Words of wisdom. I hope women also treat their husbands as Kings. Some women deny their husbands of sex and then later complain that he's looking outside. Some men may be patient with such women some may not just give a damn. Women treat your husbands well if you want to be treated as a queen. if you treat your woman as a queen she will treat you more than a king that's how it works. But if you treat her like a queen and she doesn't reciprocate, then she is not a real woman I like the fact that the OP talked about comparisim. Alot of people go wrong in their relationship because they keep comparing their woman to their friend's woman which is so wrong. Imagine your friend's gf has a very bad attitude that you don't know of because he definitely won't tell you. because he wants you to believe he is in charge... He yells at her, uses her as a sex slave and you all make fun of it... But he won't come clean as to why he is doing all that to hero. Now you will want to melt the same treatment on your loving and respectful gf without knowing that, your friend doesn't get the kind of love your gf gives to you. But some men will blindly compare. "If he can yell at his woman, why can't I yell at mine? " and the trouble starts |

Out of pity I gave this idiot N500 hoping I have done something nice not knowing he is a scam. Few days later at same spot, Someone approached me with same story and remorseful utterance only for me to discover that it's the same guy.
After narrating his fairytale, I asked him to take me to the garage so that I can pay his transport fare. The next thing he said was that "oga if no get money, abeg waka go".
I got angry and shouted "God go punish you" Thief! Ole!!!. Trust touts around that area na, the guy ran for his dare life and till date I have not set my eyes on him @ Ojodu berger. lol this must have been really painful... |

Your mum is the real deal!! eesquare: This snake probably killed a rat inside my house and instead of just moving away, it started trying to swallow the rat. My mom saw the struggling snake, quietly went to get kerosene and poured it on the snake which weakened it. The snake tried to escape but she matched on to its head and pressed it very hard, holding it down till we got a machete and cut its head to pieces. Greed kills, evil desire kills too.
