Romance › Re: Does Masturbating Determine One’s Success? I Need Views Please by amrichy(m): 11:51pm On Jun 10, 2020 |
Amotolongbo: @Dear OP
The source of your problem isn’t the act of masturbating but your psychological and mental attachment to the act of masturbating. The masturbation isn’t the one hindering your success, but the masturbation is occupying your time and sedating your mental activities towards achieving success.
“Masturbating a lot” like you said, seems to have actually got your mind engrossed in the act and taking much of your precious time which is meant to be dedicated to something resourceful and useful in life.
When masturbating, you sacrifice your time, energy and mental reasoning for just one thing, orgasm, which isn’t useful for academic performance and life achievement but a virtual sexual experience.
If you can try as much as possible to free your mind from virtual sexual experience by dedicating your time to your academics and real life activities and puzzles, honestly you will be ok There is so much sense embedded in your concise analysis of how the act of masturbation indirectly affects one's performance and achievement in various aspects of life (academics especially). If I may summarize your point, MASTURBATION SAPS AWAY THE MENTAL ENERGY THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER EXPENDED IN PURSUING MUCH MORE VALUABLE AND PROFITABLE GOALS. But if I may ask ma'am, do you think it's necessary for one to stop masturbating altogether before one can be able to attain greatness and perform excellently in any area of life? OR will it help if one learns to masturbate "moderately"(e.g. twice per week) rather than excessively (daily for instance)? |

murmee: We will never have that kind of death in Nigeria. Stop believing NCDC figures. Those numbers are NOT TRUE. Other illnesses were killing people in Nigeria before Coronavirus arrived and deaths from other ailments would continue to happen with or without Coronavirus. NCDC should continue to roll out Fake numbers but Nigerians have moved on! What gives you the assurance that we will never have that kind of mortality in Nigeria? How do you know NCDC figures are not true? Just try to find out the number of cases and deaths many other countries have recorded (countries that are more organized and have far lesser population) and you'll realize that the NCDC figures are most probably much lower than what the actual figures would be if enough testing is done. I should advise you to stop believing everything you hear everyone rumouring and making baseless conclusions. Coronavirus pandemic is real and it kills people! |

Romanoff: That has been the case since the lockdown was lifted.
But from the look of things, it is not as fatal as we all feared it would be. For now, we can't be so sure about how fatal the pandemic could or would be in Nigeria. For instance, in Brazil and India the level of fatality/mortality was low for a long period (just as it is low right now in Nigeria), but suddenly the daily mortalities began to rise increasingly. Right now, the total reported death in Brazil is close to 40,000 (and it was less than 10,000 about a month ago). Logically, the higher the number of people that contract the virus, the higher would be the mortality IN THE LONG RUN. It is estimated that about 4-6 out of every 100 people that contract the virus would die (eventually). |

Michealsmith066: I am a young guy of 28yrs.. I’m a Youtuber and also a owner of one of the popular blogs on instagram. ( I make so much money there)
I run 8 Youtube channels but I managed only 3 other 5 are managed by people i pay to create content and upload to Youtube .
I started Youtube business in 2012..one of my Youtube channel has grown to over 400k subscribers. In my Youtube channel I don’t showcase my face, I create only content based on celebrities gists and gossips.
I make good amount of money. As of last year I made 14 milion naira from just one of my channel ( Screenshot below)
Before now I bought a land in a developed area ( big man area) so As God come blessed me last year 2019. I had to develop on my land an built a duplex.
So when people asked my laborers about me, that is, what I do for a living, the laborers who have no ideas answered they don’t know.
Now these people now assume that I’m a yahoo boy ( hahaha ) Going around spreading. So when people see me they assume I’m a yahoo boy.
These people ( mostly matured people) have never for one day ask me what I do for a living oh. They just assumed that I’m a yahoo boy, that I’m too young to build a house.
Should I call them an inform them that I’m not a yahoo boy or just ignore them.
I have all document of which Youtube ( google ) pays me.
Note during this period of building my house I have no time to chase women oh .... I’m i wrong ? For those being curious about your source of wealth, pay them as little attention as possible. As long as there's no bone in your wardrobe, you have nothing to worry about and you owe no one no explanation. But if anyone asks you about your job sincerely and politely, you may choose to tell them if you like. Concerning your relationship/marital status, the best thing to do is to "follow your heart". Don't be pressured into starting a relationship if you don't really feel like it. This is the best time you can enjoy your life alone. Naturally, when the "right time" to settle down with someone comes, you will feel it. Meanwhile, please help a stranger in financial need (no amount is too small): 2020 274 729; Polaris bank; A. A. Mrmourinho: I should avail u with a dignified response but dis 'we Don't value education that much in this country' shows the level of ignorance..I'm out. I didn't say we don't value education, I simply said we don't value education THAT MUCH (and you will realize this truth if u could think rationally and put sentiments aside). Compared to many countries of the world (whose schools are currently closed down), Nigeria clearly lags behind in terms of the value placed on education. |

wintersnow: SMH! This virus is a fcking scam..even a blind man can see it's a big scam in this country.. Why keep children at home, when other sectors of the economy are fully operational.. How do you expect private school teachers to survive? I have a friend who is a private school teacher..he's barley surviving I'm shaking my head vigorously at this your comment: it lacks substance. So the lives of millions of students should be put in jeopardy so that some private school teachers can survive? Abba! I'm not sure whether or not the virus is a scam in Nigeria, but from what is being reported in other countries (e.g over 100k people dead in USA alone and close to 2million infected) I think the virus is serious and should not be taken for granted. |

Mrmourinho: Tiil when safety is assured (which is probably not dis year), so we should lockdown ourselves at home coz of fear of d unknown right? I'll never be a party to that, Countries dat have resumed school, did u hear of any mass infantile demise? Alaye cut it, dis thing might even ravage for d next two years, so we should wait for it to reduce abi dats d dumbest thing we can ever do, it's not going anytime soon bro, we should be d one to learn adaptation, it's not u guys fault Sha, it's d illusion NCDC Is painting in front of u people. Which countries have reopened schools without first putting reasonable safety measures in place? I just need you to know that people are dying from contracting this virus (over 100k people reportedly dead in USA only from coronavirus in just about 3months). So, you should think twice and ask yourself if it is really worth risking the lives of students because of education. Moreover, because of our inability to carry out adequate testing in Nigeria, we don't really know for sure how serious the virus is in the country. This should be our priority first before thinking of opening up schools and easing the lockdown. Other countries are easing their lockdown only when they are certain that the spread of the virus has reduced considerably. in our own case, we are thinking of reopening schools when we don't even know how widely the virus is spreading, and this is hypocritical because we don't actually value education that much in this country. |

kcboy34: the coast won't be sufficiently clear anytime soon. the solution to covid-19 is vaccine and it won't be available anytime soon. should we keep the children at home for 1 or more years because we want the coast to be sufficiently clear?
the only solution is adaptation.
Govt should put strick and workable measures in place and send the children back to school under strict monitoring and compliance.
Education is as important as food. even during War, some still find a way to get education. obviously, E-learning would have helped but our educational system hasn't grown to that level yet. not every parent can afford a smart phone. let's think of ways forward... corona would be around longer than you think. Yes, students should be kept at home for as long as it takes for the coast to be sufficiently clear or till such a time when we are able to put in place measures that will guarantee their safety in school (putting all necessary factors into consideration). You simply need to realize the simple truth that safety(life) is far more essential than education. I disagree with you that education is as important as food. It's no rocket science to know that while you can do without education for years (without any real consequence), you can only do without food for a few days. What has happened to the students because they've not been going to school for the past two months to learn ABC or 123 or even calculus? In war, you think of safety first before any other thing. So the way forward is to first find a cure or vaccine for the virus. |

If it is true that coronavirus does exist and spreads as rapidly as is claimed from person to person, then if schools are reopened without an effective vaccine or cure being found for the virus, the whole situation will become absolutely chaotic, "extra-pandemic" and totally intractable; almost everyone will become infected! There will be no remedy to the damage that such thoughtless and heedless decision would cause. In the end, no one would give a fvck about education—survival would be everyone's concern(nothing else will really matter when your life, your ONLY life, is being threatened). Is this what you want? I'll advise you to think carefully, circumspectly and seriously about the various ramifications of this issue before you start advocating for schools to be reopened. Also, keep in mind that while education is admittedly valuable, safety is of paramount importance. |

Mrmourinho: So u're categorically saying people who have kids won't support reopening of schools, mhen d way some of u people reason forces me to think dat u live in a forest, probably u don't move with people. NEWSFLASH!!! I have three kids, alright? I and their mother supports school reopening, so pls say something else, sending ur children to school after resumption is optional ok? Those of u who are unnecessarily scared should lockdown ur children at home till December, na una Sabi, Coronavirus isn't a death sentence, dats a fact. Obey Government directives, personal hygiene policies and pray to God, dats all, disallowing ur children from going to school doesn't mean they'll be safe from d virus ok? some people didn't go out, still they contracted it, it's unexplainable bro, just do what is right and see d outcome. Naturally, as a parent, you should be more concerned about the safety of your children than their education. When safety is ensured, you can always take care of their education. I really don't understand why some of you people are in such a haste to see schools reopened. Is it more than ABC and 123 that students learn in school? |

Dtruthspeaker: True, but what shall you gain in return for knowing the answer to this question? Knowing the answer would still not prevent your death.
Whether the Bible is written or not, the first Clear Truth is that you did not create or make yourself. You did not will yourself into existence.
By the Laws of Nature, Someone or something which exists Must create you. Cars, was made by man not by itself, all men came to meet the land (earth), seas, animals and plants already here.
No man on earth ever made them. therefore seeing all these, all men must know that Some Mighty One made them and therefore we Must be Answerable to Him, whether we have done he created us for like our cars, laptops and phones or we did contrary.
Do we not destroy phones, laptops and cars that did not work well, therefore it is reasonable to expect that thy Creator is capable of doing the same to you if you do not His Will. This is the decision of Life and Death. If what you create does not do what you want, is it not you the creator that should be blamed for this? Also, whether you do the "will" of your "creator" or not, you will still die. |

Romance › Re: I Am Addicted To Sex, How Do I Stop? by amrichy(m): 6:54pm On May 23, 2020 |
To put an end to any addiction (no matter what it is), follow the following steps: * Make a comprehensive list of all the negative/undesirable/painful impacts your addiction is having on your life (or that it could potentially have on your life sooner or later in the future) * Juxtapose the momentary pleasure/satisfaction you gain from such addiction with the pain (the list above) that results from it. I hope you'll see clearly now that the gain is certainly not worth the pain * Make up your mind decisively and with firm determination to put an end to the addiction. Constantly remind yourself from hour to hour of the need to stop the addiction * Now, don't try to end the addiction abruptly, rather you should progressively reduce the frequency at which you engage in the addictive behaviour. For instance, if you normally drink daily, reduce it to once in 3 days (this is much easier than to stop drinking altogether). When you do this for a while (say about 1month), you will become accustomed to this new frequency of drinking and this implies that your addiction has reduced. Afterwards, you may then further reduce the frequency to around once in 5 days until you again get used to this new frequency. Continue this progressive reduction in the frequency at which you engage in the addiction until you can finally and conveniently withdraw from the addiction altogether * If you believe in prayer, you can as well strengthen your determination and effort with prayer This gradual withrawal strategy will work for any kind of addiction: masturbation, alcoholism, eating disorder, addiction to games, addiction to nairaland (and other social media), and other negative deep-rooted habits that you may want to get rid off. To get rid of a long-established habit or addiction suddenly and once-and-for-all, it's going to take a great deal of determination, will-power and self-discipline. Most people will find this to be extremely difficult! Use the gradual withrawal strategy and you will see results within a few months |
