I support the ban. These pastors need to cut gays and lesbians some slack. Homosexuality is not caused by an evil spirit and as long gays recognize Christ as their Lord and saviour, they won't be condemned.
What's there in accepting humans for who they are; must we shame and demonize them just because they are gay? It is very ungodly. Christ in whom our Christianity is based on was very tolerant of unbelievers.
I love lesbians, in fact they are my favourite porn genre so the earlier we learn to love and accept these gays, the better for us because who knows? One day we may find out that one of our offsprings is gay and then we'd expect people to love them. You are demonize if you don't know, man and man having sexual intercourse na better thing abi, which religion support this abominable act, homosexuality is a taboo |

grossintel: So one of my clients wanted to transfer 100k to me for a subscription fee, for some reasons I didn't want him to send it to my main account so I told him I'll send him an account to send the money to.
My girlfriend was with me, so I asked if I could use her account and she agreed. (PS: I use her account number a lot and we've been dating for a long time so I trust her with such amount) . So I told her to send me her account number, but she was watching a movie and requested I check my bank app beneficiaries. I checked and reluctantly copied the account number without checking properly seeing the account name had her surname on it, I didn't check the rest.
My client transferred the money and almost 24hrs my girlfriend still didn't receive the money so I contacted him and he sent a screenshot of the transfer which I forwarded to her. Immediately she saw it she shouted! That's her dads account number, I know I used to send her money through he's account some years back so I saved he's account details. She quickly called him and that's when she heard the shocker.
He said he thought it was he's friend abroad, so they used the money to buy food stuff and what is left is 40k or less, her mom was even pleading if they can send the 40k. My GF has been crying and begging that I should give them time to raise the money or I should sell her phone. Her entire family members have been calling me and I refused to pick, I just want my money back complete.
How can you use money you didn't verify the source in less than 24hrs? Her Mom is a pastor and Father is an elder but this is stealing! Did you call your friend abroad to ask before using the money? Her dad is retired without pention so I know for sure they don't have a way of raising the money.
After much pleading I asked her to tell them to send the 40k and send the rest before the week runs out, that's when they told her they can't do transfer and it has to be on Tuesday. At this stage, I just concluded they spent all that money, I'm trying to stay calm but at the same time not be foolish. My friend is asking me to involve the police but this will certainly hurt my relationship. Please how should I follow this matter, I need mature advice please. 100k is not something I can dash anyone right now. I do understand how you feel but you cant really blame the Dad honestly, when someone is broke at a point and sees such money in his account which verification do you want him to do at such point, and involving the police for me is a very bad idea for someone you claim you love knowing fully well it was not intentional.i will advise you to give them time to raise the money |

Christianity Etc › Re: This Dream My Fiancee's Mother Had Is Bothering My Fiancee And I. by Anakazo22: 10:48am On Apr 02, 2021 |
DoubleFingers: N/B: This could be a bit lengthy, but please, read to the end.
I have been making preparations since late last year to settle down with my fiancee. I intend going to collect the marriage list this coming April to kick start the marriage processes.
My girl and I are very compatible in almost all ramifications you can think of. Honestly, she's the perfect definition of a supportive wife, well mannered and loyal to the core, just to say a few.
We now lived in different states, but we've known ourselves and have been seeing/dating each other in the same city between December 2016 and September 2019. I even made her to redeploy during her NYSC in 2018, to be close to me because of my intentions for her.
As usual, we've been praying and trying to seek the face of God to get divine revelation.
So on the 9th of this month (March), my fiancee and her mum visited a priest for normal pre marriage talk/counseling. The priest of course asked my girl some questions about me, which she answered sincerely. The priest then advised my girl and her mum to put everything in God's hand and be praying about it.
About a week later (around 16th or so), my fiancée's mother had a dream where my fiancée's hair was cut in the dream. In trying to understand the dream, my fiancee then called her cousin who is a Reverend, and the cousin told her that the dream is a bad dream, that it means "someone is trying to take her glory."
That dream compelled my fiancee and her mum to have two days midnight prayer (19th and 20th precisely) to cancel any bad dream.
Reaching today, my girl and her mum visited the priest again, to let him know about the dream. The priest then asked my girl about her understand of the dream. My girl said it means "widowhood." But my girl's mum was having a different understanding.
In summary, the priest then asked my girl if she had gotten a divine revelation, as to whether we're meant to be husband and wife. My girl said no has not. Personally, I've fasted and prayed severally to God to show me reasons not to marry my fiancee, but I'm yet to see reasons not to.
Honestly, apart from divine validation which I'm yet to get, I'm yet to see reasons why I shouldn't marry my fiancee. And my girl have been worried since this afternoon, thereby getting me worried also.
Now my questions are:
1.) What does it mean for someone's hair to be cut in a dream?
2.) Is it 100% compulsory that one must get a divine validation to have a peaceful and happy marriage?
Please, your honest contributions will be appreciated.
Mods, please help a brother if this piece isn't in the right section.
And help send it to front page for more response.
Thanks. Hey bro, this is the devil trying to confuse you and scatter your marriage,as a Christian God's word supercede any dreams or vision, stand on God's word and nothing else, some dreams and vision can be deceptive and not from God. The Bible says we have a more sure word of prophecy which is the word of God,so don't allow such dreams to get you worried so long you are convince in your heart about your spouse. Take this advise and don't disturb yourself. |

Kobojunkie: Christians may live in this world but they are not of this world but of the Kingdom of God and in the Kingdom of God, God is the one and only King, is that not so?
And as subjects of the Kingdom of God, living in this world, we are called to serve only the Will of God, and not the will of men or people, as is required of those who enter into world politics. God declares that you cannot serve two masters... not even when one is God Himself and the other the will of the people you rule over.
Politicians, either elected or imposed are expected to serve the will of the people, or bear responsibility for the welfare of the people, so how can such a one whose master is the people be said to also be of God. Did God lie when He declared that you cannot serve two Masters in His Kingdom?
Your "fate" as a follower of Jesus Christ is not in the hands of men but in the hands of God Himself. So the politics of the world should not matter to you because no matter what the decisions of men,God has ultimate say as far as what will be your "fate". That is what Jesus Christ, the Truth of God, taught His followers, is it not? Haha, you are too funny and one sided thats your problem,I understand what you are saying but you are very wrong,so why are christains working for government agencies and organization, they should just quit since you don't want them to have anything to do with the government, you really don't understand Jesus teachings and have a shallow understanding about kingdom advancement, christains should fold their hands and allow Muslims to turn this country into Sharia before you will know that christains should be actively involved in politics. |

Kobojunkie: Try to Pay attention to the topic being discussed here. You are asked of Christian's of whom there were none in the Old Testament.
Abraham you mention was a mercenary of sorts... He was not a king but he had an army of men who worked for him.
Moses, Elijah, and many others you lot keep mentioning were just prophets and not political leaders of any kind . They were servants of God whose one and only duty was to do the Will of God no matter what. They led God's people and to/in God's land, Canaan.
Daniel was a prophet thrust into politics, and we are not told much of his accomplishments as far as the people of the time are concerned, and we are not told much of the way he ruled over those he was placed in charge.
As for the kings of israel, I believe only nehemiah stood out and even then, his story centered around what he was able to do on behalf of God and not on how well he ruled over then people.
In this world, politics does not center around God and His Willl but around the will of the people - not the Will of God. The politics of this world is centered around the serving of the people, setting the people up as Master in every decision one makes. Power is the name of the game as far as world politics is concerned. Why is it so hard for many of you to realize what Jesus Christ said of this? I don't want to argue with you pls,I believe there are genuine Christian today in Nigeria politics although they may be few that's why their voices are not heard and I believe hundred percent that a genuine Christian can be a good politician in Nigeria. And secondly there is nothing wrong if a Christian want to join politics provided it's not for selfish interest. |

Jesus Christ is the one Christians are called to emulate and become as. Haha, you are very funny, even Jesus made reference of the old testament, that means we should not make reference to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob because they were old testament, Moses, Elijah and so on. philanthropic: In the Bible, we saw God's people who were in the government. We have countries whose political system is not as complex as that of Nigeria. Now, can a Genuine Christian be a politician in Nigeria? with this corruption is it possible, and how? A big yes, from scripture there were many great men who were in government from David, Nehemiah, Daniel and lot more, this is where the church is getting it wrong we want change but we allow corrupt men to be in helm of affairs, Christians must go into politics to advance the kingdom of God. |

jesusjnr2020: It is easy to give little out of abundance. Even the Pharisees did that!
What is hard to do is to give sacrificially or much out of the abundance or little one has. That's the kind of giving that pleases God!
Jesus said, "to whom much is given, much is required." Luke 12:48
Hence when the poor widow gave sacrificially out of the little she had, heaven acknowledged her giving. Matthew 12:43-44
The same for rich Zacchaeus who gave sacrificially out of the abundance he had, as heaven also acknowledged his giving. Luke 19:8-10
That's what I love about this man. It's his sacrificial giving. He could have many private jets if he chose to as several church leaders. But he doesn't have even one, because he doesn't just give little out of the abundance he has to the poor, but sacrificially. So the money he could have been laying up or used to be buying such luxuries for himself, he sacrificially uses it to help the poor and needy.
Hence I believe that heaven would also acknowledge his giving.
God bless. Very true |
