1. Igbos have allied with the North severally in the past: Zik/Balewa, Ekwueme/Shagari etc & have gotten practically nothing out of it. Ekwueme couldn't even deliver the Second Niger Bridge (when the Hausas built a refinery for themselves in Kaduna). So if Yorubas want to go on a wild goose chase with the Hausas, that is their problem, not ours.

2. Igbos have nothing in common politically with Hausas - Hausas want Sharia, they don't want devolution of powers, they don't want resource control, they don't want any changes to the exclusive list - we have absolutely NOTHING to gain by being politically allied with them.

3. APC as a party doesn't have any Igbo interests at heart. The will select an Hausa man as President & a Yoruba man as VP, what it means is:
a. The Hausa guy will rule from 2015 - 2023.
b. His deputy (a Yoruba) will rule from 2023 - 2031.
c. Another Hausa man will rule from 2031 - 2039.

That means that under APC, we'll have 24 years of Hausa/Yoruba rule until an Igbo man is even considered. In PDP it will be quicker.

4. We are NOT interested in the presidency at this point in time. After we saw what happened to Ekwueme in Jos in 1999, we realized that there is a pathological hatred of Igbo in all parts of the country. (Obasanjo with zero support from his fellow Yorubas got the nomination). So we are better off facing our business & using influence to get what we need.

5. Control of the presidency doesn't mean jack - go to Northern Nigeria, they've ruled Nigeria for almost 38 years - immunization rates in parts of the North are as low as 5%. Many aren't going to school, under-aged marriages etc. Those people have NOTHING to offer. If you like, follow them for 100 years.

6. APC will not win the next presidential elections, so these permutations are meaningless.

7. In 1967 - 70, we learned an important lesson, fighting against the Hausa-Fulani Oligarchy is the same thing as fighting against Britain. We'll fight against them when we are ready to fight Britain, not before then.

So please continue to entertain your Lagos-based fantasies, don't travel outside Lagos, continue to believe that Tinubu-funded APC propaganda reflects Nigeria's realities.

Que those that ranting that anambra govt where provided with document;
1. Do you know that signature can be forged.
2. Showing mere document does not truly justified that the document was presented to anambra state government. There is no picture or video of where lagos presented anambra with those document.
3. Even if it was true as claimed, why deport 70 something people instead of the 14 that are indigens of anambra state.
4. Even if this story is true is onitsha over head brigde the right place for such an exchange. Dont we have women development center or other govt places.
5. Lets assume the document was truly provided to anambra govt. when the get to over head brigde onitsha and couldn't find any govt official can't they wait till day break to hand them over to anambra officials.

uche13: @ OP, sorry to say but it seems like your girlfriend is the one calling the shots in your relationship. I am looking at the bigger picture and not just because she asked for your pin. She sounds controlling and authoritative. You also seem to act like a sissy that your girlfriend has to help, push and motivate you to do things. There is entirely nothing wrong in that as women were created to be helpers and most successful men have good wives who encourage and motivate them into greatness. However, there is a limit.

I admire the fact that she is encouraging you towards investing and not squandering the scholarship money you would receive but that does not mean she should get your atm pin and monitor your spending. She should trust that you have a sensible head on your shoulders not to waste your money and I am sorry to say that if she does not trust you in that regard, then that is a bigger issue.

I am not against couples divulging their atm pins to each other (I have that of my fiance) but I never requested for it. However, I am totally against her reason for wanting your pin. So what would happen na? she would notice a withdrawal and maybe you would get a paper and pen and be asked to write down and account on every kobo spent. Nonsense!!!.

You really need to work on yourself. If your girlfriend cannot trust your sense of judgment then the relationship is headed for the rocks. This is because she would get tired of being the one pushing, encouraging and motivating you and understanding how intelligent she is, she would look for a man that would also bring out the best in her and lead her because every lady wants a man they can look upto in every aspect.

As for your girlfriend, that's the problem with some of we ladies. Not knowing where to draw the line. You can bring out the best in your partner without tampering with his ego and making it seem like he is being controlled.

By the way I don't buy into the nonsense of splitting the money with her. Yes be grateful for her help and buy her gifts or even give her some money but that is where it ends. Does it mean because an uncle helped me secure a job that I should start sharing my salary with him?. Wont I just thank him, buy a gift in appreciation and if he requires any financial assistance in the future and I can help, I would gladly oblige him?
