The advent of Christianity in Igboland is the worst thing that happened to the igbo-Nation!

Christianity stole our culture, values and respect for fellowman!

Christianity is a virus that has destroyed every good fabric of our culture and replace it corrupt foreign culture that has visited us with nothing good but woes!
Refer to the Igbo debate thread started by Andre Uweh.

In Igbo culture unpleasant dreams signifies bad omen and a hindrance. Such dreams brings unhappiness, panic, confusion and fear of the future. As a result, one strives to erace this sort of dream from his system. This may be via prayers or some other means.
NDIGBO and lovers of Igbo Culture, HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH BAD DREAMS?.

@OP,all masks are arushi(gods) or some are just masks with no "chi" attached to it ?
They are treasures, not Gods and has never been so. Ndigbo has never worshipped gods but God in heaven called Chukwu or Chineke.
The advent of Christianity in Igboland is marvellous in our eyes for it only replaced the messengers but not God.
Mr Brown and the white men learnt some lessons about the Igbo belief in God when this issue was raised at Umuofia. Please see the last pages of Things Fall Apart (1958).

@ OP, lets not forget the good work Nzeribe did by stopping thief MKO abiola from humiliating Ndigbo. We cannot reject ourselves for others have rejected us.
If we had a biafra, I will be the one to condemn Nzeribe, but we don't angry We have a dungeon called nigeria where tribalism obfuscate anything good, hence let us join others in playing their game. cool The SW is celebrating bode george, and want to condemn Nzeribe huh

BTW, to those who blame him for the most flawed election in nigerian history- june 12, I say see the following:

Ooni of Ife- "cancellation of june 12 was an act of God" cheesy grin

obusonjo (OBJ)- "thief mko abiola is not the messiah that nigeria need" grin

Need I say more- God bless Abacha
Spot on.

This thread is really worrying.
This becomerich fella really needs help.
Largely incoherent, delusional and showing some signs bordering on psychosis.
Shouldn't we be worried for him? huh
Don't worry, Becomerich does not need any help from anybody. Becomerich can be compared to Chief Zebrudaya of the famous New Masquerade. When Becomerich is here, he writes differently just like Zebrudaya speaks differently on stage.
Becomerich for two years now has emerged as Nairaland's best poster.
Ignore him at your peril.

The story of Justin Fashanu was also published by London Metro on 1st of March, 2011.

There are real miracles.
Some years back at Ibadan, I use to know a lame man who begged for arms at Old Bodija-Sango junction. This lame man who had never walked erect from birth was healed from his deformity after he attended Kumuyi's crusade at Ashi, in Ibadan North.
Nevertherless, this thread belongs to the Religion section.

But that Yoruba boy called Boy called BK/Babe and co refused to lay down their arms of tribalism. So he had no choice. I remember clearly when he joined nairald, he was more interested in culture section, but you guys have pushed him to the extreme.
Let there be no more hostilities on both sides of the Niger.

LOL, must you debunk am na, its called trolling at its finest

I personally see it as a well thought off analysis of the current political situation in Nigeria although it is full of anachronisms. Although you can argue that some of the analogies are infact spurious, it does not detract from the fact that a lot of them are dead-on.
Sorry if I sound a bit like Dede1 using superfluous grammar, but I could not find more direct words to succinctly convey my point.

Arochukwu warrior, I expected a picture of a man dressed in leaves, with a sharp cutlass and a lot of charms, odeshi and bullet-proof juju.

You disappoint me.
The poster's heart is so full of hatred and evil. Without being told, you should know his ulterior motives.
