Nri may not be the first inhabitants. Yes I agree with You ChinenyeN but they established the first Kingdom in Nigeria. |
It has happened before in Nigeria when Rangers and Shooting stars played against one another during the 70'S CUP WINNERS CUP. In Europe, this happens all the time for Example Chelsea vs Liverpool. |
Some of our fathers are of the opinion that they were igbo, Yoruba, ,kalabari etc before Nigerian. Nigeria is a British creature. But, Nairalanders, how do you see your selves?. Are You Yoruba or Igbo and then Nigerian or is it the other way round?. |
Nri kingdom was the first founded in Nigeria. Then followed by the Ife,Bini and Igala kingdoms. |
Mama-gee. Everyone in this forum knows that P.H is the capital of Rivers state. Please educate us on what we do not know. Secondly, be civilised |
What sort of inlaws do I have in Ukwuani people?. They do not reciprocate my greetings to them. Once again, Ukwuala people-Abor, Obiaruku, Kwale and the entire Igbo people in this thread, I greet you all. Udo diri unu. |
AKPAN is an efik, Annang or Ibibio name. This groups are found in Akwa Ibom and Calabar. |
Rivers State is certainly not an Igbo land.
Mama-gee. Certainly you are insulting Igbo people of Rivers state and my wife inclusive. Northern part of Rivers state is Igboland while the Southern part is not Igboland. |
hollandis:Emphasis should be on talents available. The orange (oranje) men continues to use wingers because they have them in abundance. The orange team that won the European nations cup in 1988 had F.Rychkaard, Marco Van Basten and Ruud Gullit who were not wingers. Nigeria can do without wingers if we do not have quality in that aspect but quality in other areas. Thank you. |
GODSON2009:The Nigerians involved in gun and knife crimes are the ones born in the UK, not the ones who came directly from Nigeria. I think there is a difference. |

tkb147. Please do not be insultive. Do you have any evidence that he stole your targets?, However, if a player is good, he gets so many admirers. |
Does that mean that there is no difference between a language and a dialect?. |
Thanks a lot Waooo, every team makes use of what is available. Nigerian in the past had had legendary wingers for example: Segu Odegbami, C.Temile, Owolabi, Amasiemeka, Okosieme, Edobor, Elahor,Amunike, Finidi etc. But at the moment, virtually non exist. So what do we do?. |
Most teams in Europe this days do not use wingers. Apart from the Orange men, most high profile national sides do not use wingers. |
ChinenyeN Is it just Igbo, how about Hausa and Yoruba?. |
i no understand wetin him write ooo my brother, i just great am in my own language. ( the little i know).
Ukwuani is not a language please. It is a dialect. The language of Ukwuani people is Igbo. |
Prophet Mohammed was once a catholic before founded his own faith. He copied most of the catholic doctrines. |
Dike na-agha Ogologo nma-agha Lord of lord and King of kings |
The western world has statutory marriage while Ndiigbo has statutory and traditional marriage (Igba nkwu or Ihe nrisa). It is either the POSTER does not know what she wants or she is Igbo pretending to be French. There are lots of them. |
DIS GUY Forget sentiments and face reality. Check out for Urhobo, Kalabari, Igbo, and Yoruba threads; you will notice that those who contribute to those threads are the indigenous peoples. But in the case of the Hausas, they are just non existent. Yes I did say others write their books. For example, Cyprian Ekwensi's African Night entertainments and numerous books was on Hausa Culture. In music, Zaki Azaay has been promoting hausa music yet he is not a Hausa. In the film industry, the likes of Matt Dadzie has been promoting Hausa films yet they are not Hausas. To mention but a few. To the real Hausas, just a wake-up call. |
Tsiya:What important thing do they have to do that others do not have to do?. May be destroying Igbo shops and destroying lives who do not share the same belief with them. Even in music, it is non-Hausas singing for them, novels and so on. With due respect to them , I do feel they should wake up because it is day break already. |
Where has everyone gone to? lets come back and revive this thread for some meaningful purpose.
Mazi, Ke Ije?. Udo diri gi. |
ifyalways:based on the above quote, there is no need for a traditional marriage. Traditional marriage occurs when someone marries an Igbo lady or from related cultures. The Igbo man should not be expected to conduct a traditional marriage in this circumstance, and there is no point turning Igbo culture upside down. |
Chelsea have just won at stoke. Stoke 1: Chelsea 2 |
Where are the Hausa people?. Is it not a shame that those who speak and write Hausa are not Hausas. Are the Hausas still feasting on BOKO HARAM. |
POSTER Your message here is not clear. You failed to state if you are Igbo or not. If an Igbo man is marrying a french, German, English, Irish and other western cultures, they do not do traditional weddings. But if an Igbo man is marrying an Igbo lady or related cultures, then there is the case for traditional marryiage. So, what sort of french are you?. Just explain your self more and be specific with your ethnicity. |
Most of the black gangs are boys with West Indian ancestry. There might be few Nigerians involved, yet it is not in proportion with Nigerian population here in the UK. |
