BootyOnMe: He is entitled to his opinions! kiss
But he has't made any sense in his opinion. People of Aluu wasted innocent souls that is a fact. He should accept it and not try to defend the community by saying that it happened in a village that is cosmolitan.
He is a disgrace to Nigerians and that his local community.
CultureRe: Relationship Between Itsekiri And Igbo by AndreUweh(m): 8:10pm On Oct 18, 2012
@Abagworo, you are correct. In my own native community we have names that resembles Uduaghan but are totally Igbo and not related to the Itshekiris. E.g Oduagha,Ekeagha Udumaga, udumjiekumiri etc.

He was kidnapped 2 years ago and was released 2 days later by the kidnappers though no ransom was paid.
CrimeRe: Elechi Amadi Defends Aluu Community by AndreUweh(m): 7:45pm On Oct 18, 2012
Elechi Amadi is chatting crap in this source. As the most popular and most famous Aluu son, the old man could have driven to the scene to save the lives of those Uniport students. Yet he didn't do that. There is not even any news to suggest he was away while the barbarism lasted. Probably, he had given those murderers the go ahead. He may even feel that those burnt students were the chaps who kidnapped him some time ago.
I mean Elechi Amadi's influence could have saved those boys but he turned blind eye to that crime. The only thing the old man is good at is to shout to the world that Ikwerre is no longer Igbo. It's a pity.

If you r Hardworking
If you r independent and not spoonfeed
If you r widely traveled
If you r intelligent and creative
And if you are from SE Nigeria and speak Igbo by mother or by father language,
Then you r ONYE-IGBO!!!
Ckeck out the first page, Andrew and Chinenye thrashed it out about south east. There are people who are Igbo but not from the south east. It is better to say the lower Niger. Thank you.

chucky234: Ndokwa is not part of Anioma as its an independent ethnic group that's why Ndokwa is being refers to as the second largest ethnic group in Delta state, those words might mean different things in Igbo from what they mean to the Ndokwa people.
There are similarities among Nigerian languages, for instance salt is pronounce as nnu-iyor in Ukwuani while the Yorubas pronounce salt as iyor omitting the nnu attached to it by the Ndokwas.
Boy, stop this silly attempt of rewriting history here. Ndokwa is one of the groups that make up ANIOMA (DELTA IGBO). Ndokwa is not even an Igbo group but they come under Ukwuani group of Igbo classification. Incase if you do not know the meaning of Anioma, know it here:
A-ANIOCHA.
N-NDOKWA
I-IKA
O-OSHIMIRI.
M-a common word derived from Oshimiri.
A-COMMONLY Found in Ika, Ndowa and Aniocha.
Its a pity a lot of Delta Igbo people do not know what is Anioma.

Sealeddeal: ....do Opobo people speak Igbo? I heard saying that have stayed at Rivers saying that Opobo people doesnt speak Igbo.equally,Ikwerre people that claim dat they aint Igbo, does their claim make them less igbo or can thay be dissociated from Igbo.Is Ikwerre within the Ohaneze ndiigbo?
Opobo people do speak Igbo. Some bear Igbo names as well. Igbo is the first language of Opobo people.
Until recently, Opobo people and Amaigbo people in Imo state hardly inter marry because of blood relations. Do you ever wonder why the king of Opobo attends the Ahiajoku festival in Owerri?.
On the Ikwerre, The vice president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo is an Ikwerre son-Eng Isaac Mahonwu.

ChinenyeN: Wait, so you mean that the southeastern region is only limited to east of the Niger? Well, if that's the case, then I guess Lower Niger seems more appropriate.
Yea, lower Niger is more appropriate to use for the location of Ndigbo. Even before the colonialist devided Ndigbo into east and west regions, geography had done that already. They only followed the geographical demarcation to biset Ndigbo.
Anyway, back to topic: location of Ndigbo-the 5 south east states, Delta north, upland Rivers/Bonny, Opobo, Igbanke in Edo state, Ndoki in Etim Ekpo, Akwa Ibom state and Okpokwu LGA in Benue state.
Outside Nigeria, there are indigenous Ndigbo in Equatorial Guinea mostly of Aro stock.
CultureRe: Who Is An Igbo/what Makes Someone An Igbo? by AndreUweh(m): 12:47am On Oct 12, 2012
ChinenyeN: By southeastern, I mean the whole geographical region; not the "southeast" (aka "5 Igbo states" ) geo-political zone.
But geography has already cut up Ndigbo into 2 before the recent geo-pol zoning arrangement. I mean Ndigbo are not in one geographical zone.
I now know what you mean but you could have used lower Niger instead of south east.
CultureRe: Who Is An Igbo/what Makes Someone An Igbo? by AndreUweh(m): 12:13am On Oct 12, 2012
ChinenyeN: Enough of this geopolitics zoning nonsense. The southeast region of Nigeria is simply that; the southeast region of Nigeria. I'm not wasting my time on those useless administrative zones.
Its high time you behave like a child well brought up. The question raised to you was done in good faith. It has nothing to do with geo-political zones.
You mentioned south east in your post and I asked of those who represent Igbo Apex org but not from the south east. Imagine your reaction. Nonsense of this and that.
You shouldn't have mentioned the south east in your post since you will come back to it to call it nonsense.
People make una come see logic oooh!.

Most of the chaps who come here to defend Awolowo on daily basis know the truth. But because of the personality of Awolowo, a man whom they see as a junior brother of their Oduduwa, they will go a long way to turn the truth upside down.
Yet, the truth remains the truth.
CultureRe: Who Is An Igbo/what Makes Someone An Igbo? by AndreUweh(m): 11:47pm On Oct 11, 2012
ChinenyeN: Europeans created Igbo identity; south easterners perpetuate it. That is what makes an Igbo. If you come from that south eastern region of Nigeria where Igboness is perpetuated, then you are Igbo (as far as the "history books" go).
How about those who are not from the south east e.g Amb Ralph Chukwu Uwechue-the man with the topmost position in Igboland today?.

Lord Naya: @NRI PRIEST, THE AUTHOCHOUS IGBOS OF NRI I.E THE ADAMAS PRACTISE THIS NZE NA OZO TITLE TAKING WITH THEIR FELLOW AUTHOCHOUS IGBO GROUPS SPREAD ACROSS IGBOLAND. THATS WHY THE FOLLOWING AUTHOCHOUS IGBO GROUPS LIKE AWKA, ORLU, OKIGWE, MBAISE, ADAMA NRI, NKANU, OWERRI, OBOWO, NGWA, IBEKU UMUAHIA AND MANY MORE, CLAIM THEY ESTABLISHED THE TITLE AND THE VARIOUS IGBO CULTURES WITHOUT OUTSIDE INFLUENCE. Eze Nri was initiated and taught this rituals by the ADAMA'S an Igbo authochous group. It is vital you note that many Igbo towns even in delta and rivers state were founded by the descendants of this Igbo groups. So shut up, even a yoruba man that has read books on Igbo history knows about you culture after you. What a shame. If you doubt i will post an interview granted by the Eze Adama Ikenga Nri about the origin of Nri. IGBO WU OTU. AROCHUKWU IS NOT AN AUTHOCHOUS GROUP BECAUSE THEY MIGRATED FROM THE OKIGWE CULTURAL AREA IN IMO STATE AND THE IZZI AREA OF EBONYI STATE. DONT ENBARASS YOURSELVE IN PUBLIC. Ogwashiukwu in delta state was founded by an adama from Nri known as Adaigbo, Asaba was originally founded by Eze Anyanwu from Awka, Ndoni in rivers founded by an Owerri migrant and many more examples. So go and throw your distruptive tantrums else where.
Must you insult him to make your opinion known. Stop it dude.

It's like that with the big ethnic nations. A Yorubaman from Ilesha doesn't exactly understand Owoh dialect. Even in Arabic, An Arab Mauritanian doesn't exactly understand the arabic spoken in Bahrain.
Having said that, a man from Owoh is not insane to claim Owoh as his ethnic group unlike some miscreats in Igboland do. Shameful.

In Isinweke, what we have now are:coucil of Ndi Ichie-mostly men in their seventies.
Coucil of Ndi nze (mostly great achievers in the community e.g Nze Ozichukwu Chukwu, former PDP south east chairman.
Eze-not hereditary but by election.
My community has witnessed a lot of changes since the 70's. Some titles like the ozos are no longer relevant.
Their is women's council-association of married women. They do not interfare with the activities of the Eze in council.
Their roles include, clearing of market places, clearing of roads, looking into women who cheat on their husbands etc. They also settles disputes between women. But anyone they can't handle, is brought to the Eze's cabinet.

Katsumoto: You just need to lay low sometimes. Are you watching a different video from the rest of us?

You have been demanding proof with regards to Biafra charging landing fees to charities. You refused to accept the names of the charities arguing ignorantly that you have never heard of charities such as YMCA.

In the video provided by Eko ile, one can hear Ojukwu justifying the collection of landing fees from charities who were bringing in free food for starving Biafrans. One can also hear Sir Hunt saying that the Biafrans wouldn't accept the aid without the landing fees. One can see how insensitive the Biafran high command were towards the people they were claiming to be protecting. Little wonder, Ojukwu took off in the middle of the night, taking the places of little girls that were being rescued, and killing a few girls in the ensuing drama.
Where were you during the civil war?. When are you going to stop spreading lies in this forum?. Who are these girls that Ojukwu killed?.
Can you name any member from your family or your community who was there in the East when Ojukwu comitted the acts you accuse him off?. Failure to do that means you should forever hold your face in shame?.

ibos over-run yorubaland? Or did they expect them to stay neutral as ojukwu turn yorubaland into a theatre of war between

him and the hausa/fulanis? or maybe they expected the yorubas to side up with them and in the process get slaughtered by

the northern troops stationed in Lagos, Ibadan and Abeokuta?

What exactly did the ibos wanted from the yorubas, at that inauspicious time in question?
Could Ndigbo authorise a Yoruba to go and slaughter his kins in the west?. Where are your brains guys?.

Ndigbo have never at any time spoken about the entire Yoruba nation's involvement in the war, but against some Yorubas who went against int laid down rules of confrontation. Ndigbo hold Yorubas in high esteem but excluding those who fought for personal gains or to please their masters.

T9ksy: I just love your opening line.......however you biafrans nay ibos see nothing wrong in calling someone else's fatherland,

a "No man's Land". In fact, you have been salivating at the thought of appropriating it for eons. Know ye, that we yorubas shall never forget

our fatherland, either.

You are wrong as always. No Igbo has claimed any part of yorubaland as no-mans-land. What they have always said and maintained is that Lagos is all-mans-land. You may not agree but that is the truth.
