timbros: Could this be Torres season? With Hazard, Mata and Marin/Moses roaming behind him in this our new 4-2-3-1 formation, i see Torres clinching Highest Goal Scorer award this season. For the fact that he does not take penalties and free kicks, it is not possible that Torres will emerge as the highest goalscorer at the end of the season. |
It is the Emenalo factor. His idea to bring young Nigerians to Chelsea. At first, Kenneth Omeruo and now V.Moses. |
PAGAN 9JA:You are wrong. Yoruba is a recent coinage. Though originated from the east but used by Nigerians to mock the large usage of oil their soup. But the Yorubas take it as an insult just like Hausas take Aboki for an insult. Back to the topic, Bello used the word Yaraba to describe people south of the caliphate who are not muslims. |
The Igbo society has changed a lot from the way it is viewed in the past. Nothing stops one from being an Igbo if he identifies himself as Igbo and practices Igbo culture e.g speaks the language, joins Igbo affiliations, eats Igbo dishes etc. For example, this photograph is a man who speaks Igbo language fluently, eats Igbo dishes, wears Igbo traditional attires, is a member of his local chapter of Ohanaeze and proudly identifies himself as Igbo. It will be an insult to take the Igbo out of him.

Nigerians now practice cremation. When Justin Fashanu died, he was creamated. Other countries now follow this Indian pattern. |

Omugwo is an Igbo aspect of culture. Neighbours of Ndigbo have borrowed this culture just as Ndigbo have borrowed from their neighbours as well. @ the OP. You may provide her with George or Hollandis wrappers, new shoes and sandals, new bra and panties, hand bag, necklace, handkerchiefs, towels, headscarf to match with the wrappers, cardigan, pyjamas for ladies or night gowns, body creams and soap, deodorants, powders, cash etc. |

One_Naira: probably wasn't. The Igbos were called and spelled Heebo, Ebo, Eboe, Eboans, Ibo and Iboe by many European historians. The Ibo and Ebo was the most popular ones. The person might have learned about Igbo on History sites and books thus, wasn't aware the actual real spellings. I've met people like that but all are online.May your Days be long. |
To start with, Patience did not at any time say something like that. Enemies are at work here. |

ifyalways: There's always something fascinating about women warriors especially of old. How did their husbands react, relate with and treat them?or they were young unmarried maidens?Nice one. The women warriors of old for example, the women from Umuahia and Aba regions that carried out Aba Womens revolution of 1928-29, were mostly married women. The husbands of this women who caused the Aba revolution had a second thought about them. Belief, respect, trust and dignity set in from the men's angle. It wasn't long after that that the likes of Margaret Ekpo emerged in the east. It wasn't a surprise that during the Biafran war, some of this women could go to the war front to play different roles. |
Couldn't have this great women be called something different from the Amazons?. The amazon is not usually associated with West Africa, I think in Brazil. |

Obiagu1: Umm, anyị na-ekwu "mbara" ma ọbụ "ezi".Igbo dum na akpo ezi (compound). Aga m ayoghashi azu maka mmiri na ejo. Aga m ayoghashi eze-eze. Can you translate it?. |
debosky: Sturridge sends team GB out!A. Ramsey is worse. If he had scored that penalty kick with regulastion, the match would not have gone into extra time. Poor Ramsey. |

It is widely used in Isinweke and Umuahia areas that share border with Isinweke. The question was if anyone in your compound is taking part in the olympic games 2012, in London. |
We have lost to a Championshp side that finished 11th last term. WE ARE TOO POOR TO GO INTO THE SEASON. |
