ChinenyeN: Where the hell are you coming from assuming sht? Did you not read my other posts in response to both Physics & Ezeagu? Typical Andre. And since when must all Ika make such a proclamation as a unit? Last I checked, 'Igbo' is basically a convenience label; no one is under any obligation to adhere to it. So to insist that the Ika must make such a proclamation as a unit for validity sake is just gross. I know you can do better than that brainless crap in the bold, or are you just being funny?. Anyway, since when has being Hausa , Yoruba, English, Dutch etc become basically a convinience label, or is it just The Igbo and why?. |

ChinenyeN: So, help me understand. Are you implying that Ika have to be Igbo, because to claim otherwise means to claim no ethnicity? If the Ika do not have to be Igbo, then they have to proclaim it as unit. That has never happened, and will never happen. The Ika Obis and leaders do not have any problem been identified as Igbo. If one Ika dimwit here claims he is not Igbo, that should not make you reason that he is right. |

Alj Uche: how
has ohaneze, ibb, OBJ and others probe jonathan for the misuse of funds he committed in power as a governor and even as the current president before he was accepted The name Ahmed Bola Tinubu is a soiled name in Nigeria. Hence if Fashola probes him, then Nigerians will know that he is not part of Tinunu's mischief and terror. He will be trusted and accepted all over the country. |

Chibuike Amaechi seems neutral in the Igbo or no Igbo imbroglio. T he A.P.G.A guber candidate in Rivers state is a proud Igbo and pro Igbo. He is bent on defeating Amechi if foul play does not come into play. Hence, count Amaechi out as a man to project Igbo aspirations in the future. |

Even if he goes to the Mosque with Hausas, that does not make him Hausa. The difference is very clear. |

pcmadu: ^^^^^ their are other tribes but its very easy to knw the different, except you want to say the hausa/fulani are foolish not be able to differentiate their own ppl,
by the way when yoruba man speck hausa its very funny(most hausa ppl always laugh at them) which you should also knw.
I surly knw the diff between Hausa man from yoruba, if you dont knw, hausa ppl dont consider yoruba muslim as real muslim-- the kill them as well during any violent and thats a FACT
I am an Mbaise man and trust me i knw the diff when a see my fellow Mbano, Owerri Okigwa or Orlu man(note that we are all neighbors in Imo State). The same apply to the hausa, sokoto man speck differently from a kano man
Tell me where you are from so i can knw if u are really from where u clam you are, i am out to put you to shame
You are not an hause/fulani man because those ppl are very proud of their heritage and culture as the igbos, they would never clam what they are not He has never claimed Hausa Fulani but Kanuri. |

Alj Uche: no no no
i not saying igbos do not hold a sizable chuck of the population of the north, far from it
all i am saying is that in the north there are more yorubiod groups than igbo
i do not what to sound baised or anything, believe me on this even in borno state igbos have there area, yorubas have there are as well Sometime ago, you said you are from Kukawa LGA in Borno state, I can't be precise now. In that Kukawa, how many Yorubas do you see compared to Ndigbo. In Borno, you have Yorubas who are mostly civil servants while Ndigbo are in business as well as in civil service all over the state and other regions. Do not take away this gospel truth. |

Politics › Re: Yoruba The Golden Bride Of Nigerian Politics by AndreUweh(m): 9:40pm On Apr 08, 2011 |
@Al Uche and Jason, Kogi and Kwara states are places that the Yorubas outnumber Ndigbo. Reason, because those states have indigenous Yoruba population. the Igbo in the north have been more assimiliated to the northern culture than the Yorubas have done. It is not surprising that Nigerian soldiers who people thought were Hausas all came home to fight on the Biafran side. @Alh Uche, I thought you are no longer biased but am wrong. Even in your home state Borno, Yorubas are found in Maiduguri while Ndigbo are all over the place even in Malam Fatori and other Chad borders. @Jarus, you being Yoruba will naturally incline you to relate with the Yorubas more than others in Sokoto, but it is not a reason for Yorubas to be more than Ndigbo in Sokoto state. |

Politics › Re: Yoruba The Golden Bride Of Nigerian Politics by AndreUweh(m): 8:50pm On Apr 08, 2011 |
@Jason, stop spreading falsehood here. There is no state in the North that Yorubas outnumber Ndigbo. Even Gowon, a former head of state claimed that Ndigbo are second to indigenes any where in the north. Ndigbo and Yorubas are at par in Jos but add up Ndigbo from the South South in Jos, then Ndigbo are more. |
Politics › Re: Yoruba The Golden Bride Of Nigerian Politics by AndreUweh(m): 8:25pm On Apr 08, 2011 |
Alj Uche: jason
ndigbo still hold the ace card here
because they have a sizable population all over the country in each state
they might not have it is SE OR SS
but it is spread, thus jonathan only needs 25% from each state and i bet ndigbo is at least 15 % in each state so they are still strong It shall be well with you. |

Abagworo: You and my other Igbo brothers calling for my head are part of the problem.Remember Ohanaeze endorsed Obasanjo's 3rd term.Infact since I was born Igbo's have never opposed any incumbent.I am in no way suggesting that we must oppose but we need to form a political force that will restore our relevance.
Buhari is sweeping the NW while Jonathan is sweeping the SS/SE,so we have the SW as the determinant zone.We should also take note that NW has 8million more voters than SS/SE.Buhari is therefore already leading with 8million voters.Assuming the other regions are shared equally,Jonathan needs SW to cover the 8million deficit. Your points are well noted. However, bear in mind that the Ohanaeze faction led by Col Achuzia existed in vacuum, and had outlived its tenure and relevance. It is wrong to see Ohanaeze in that light. At the moment in Igboland, we do not have an Azikiwe type of leader and Ojukwu is no longer active. As a consequence, the Ohanaeze has taking its rightful postion and at the right time to project and guide Ndigbo. Hence on GEJ we collective stand. |
