Augustine Again: why did you not tell them to stop k.illing the thread the way @saengine did ? your silence means agreement. nigerians have insulted you about Dyslexia here and 3 times i stood up against my own countrymen and told them to stop it, and i told them to apologize to you, they did. there are some things that wisdom should tell us to complain about and not keep quiet.I have called into doubt your credibility before. And why did you go on with the argument busy posting all those pics? |
Augustine Again:i dont like posts unless it is a really big deal |
Augustine Again: the south african l.unatics started it, @CraigB, @Kwame nkira, both got banned for trying to k.ill this thread, then they opened a new user account and continued to post junk, lies, insults and thread derailment while @Andrewza, @fighter pilot, @zetdee were cheering them on. blame the south africans for this situationwas i cheering them on, i have been keeping my posted more to military than you with your spaza shop and what nots. Mentioning, poverty, economics, and other non direct military issues is still on topic since it affects defense and security. |
http://www.timeslive.co.za/africa/2013/04/10/protected-by-angels---a-church-caught-in-the-car-crossfire this is a different CAR report from the civilians of CAR who saw the battel |
zetdee: Lol, Whats the point of posting slums, we can go all day, this graph tells the hole story.kind ofwhat we being trying to tell these people, nigeria is poor |

why does every one think they photoshopped? |
Augustine Again: seleka case is closed, south african army ran away faster than Usain Bolt. we will remind you once in a while until another cowardly african army beats your new african record for running away from teenage rebels.ran away? please explain how we ran away while killing 800 rebels and held the base for the entire weekend. It is fact that the only force that did not run away was the SANDF |
NaijaPikinGidi: Chronic liar in need of rehabilitation!Again show were i lied. it a typical response of you fools. |
Augustine Again:and pray do tell how this will pick up a bickel or person radar satellites are not used for spying, something you seem not to understand. and it does not see as i said it not a camera. we had a satellite in orbit while you where only dreaming of them. Actually even if they shoot it down we will still know their location, drones cameras have great rang and can remain out of the range of AA guns, they small targets and not easy to hit. so a Drone could stay well out of the range of lets say nigeria's ground based air defense, and the seeker 400 could even take out high value targets from 10km away. i never siad they where rubbish only of limited tactical value. |
BCraig: The issue that needs explaining is why a "researcher" confuses radar with optics? Why? Is it because the title of the article used the word "see"?maybe he was a janitor at MBA and has high school accounting and is really good at red alert |
BCraig: Ag shame tog. The Nigerian soldiers miss their mommies?rotation is vital but want i don't get is have they not have VAC leave in 2 years. there are people in the Navy who have been here for years and there homes are in limpopo. |
Augustine Again: what makes him right ? read what he said belowIt does not have a camera that can see through clouds. Satellites have a role but in providing real time data to troops on the ground or looking for a single person over a wide area they of limited to no use. what you can use it for is to take a pic of a area to give you a updated map, or take pics of a border area to see tire tracks, holes in a fence, extra extra. If you use a satellite has your primary means of observation you will get shocked. There was a janes defense report on how satellites are being fooled and beaten by very simple methods. |
http://www.african-defense.com/?p=1774 Amidst controversy of allegations of extra-judicial killings and wanton abuse of human right on their part, Nigerian soldiers in the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) in Baga have protested being kept on the mission beyond the stipulated six months for special operation. The soldiers say they have been kept more than triple the duration required for special deployments within or outside Nigeria. “But we have been kept here for over two years now, which is not fair to us. We have been kept here away from our families, and this is telling on us negatively,” one soldier told our reporter on condition of anonymity, as it is an offence for personnel to speak to the press. The soldiers said most of them were deployed from three different battalion or brigade since the 27th of July, 2011, and were supposed to have been replaced by a fresh troops by January 2012. “On the 27th of July, 2011, fresh troops of the Nigerian soldiers were deployed to Baga from the 241 Recce battalion, the 73 battalion and the 3rd Brigade Kano,” another soldier said. Of the three units deployed, only the 241 Battalion had so far changed its troops, while the others (73 Battalion and the 3rd Brigade Kano) still kept their soldiers in Baga for 15 months after the expiration of their normal six months special operation time. Some security operatives in Borno state have confided in our reporter that if the recent allegations of extrajudicial killings are true, then it could be partly blamed on the prolonged stay of soldiers in their deployed operational base. “World over, there is nothing as dangerous as soldiers or troops that are tired or fed up with their operational environment,” said the security source. The issue of troop rotation had in often cases been a problem of the Nigerian Army. Recently, some soldiers of the peacekeeping Joint Task Force in Borno state lamented their non-rotation for more than a year. When the development was made public by the media, it compelled the Spokesman of the JTF, Lt Col Sagir Musa, to issue a statement on the 10th of February warning journalists to stay away from issues that pertain to troop rotation. “Rotation of troops on operation is a normal military practice. It is not a rigid exercise, it is situational and circumstantial. Exigency of duty, challenges on the ground can warrant appropriate superior authority to delay or extend rotation schedule without any ifs or buts,” Lt Col Musa said. “We don’t have civil society group(s) and there is no Fundamental Human Rights in the profession of arms – these are tendentious if the JTF/military must be effective in performing its constitutional responsibility of defending the nation from external and internal enemies. Here in JTF, rotation is continuous and is currently ongoing. “Remember, troops are being moved to Mali, Sudan and Liberia. All the troops cannot concurrently be rotated. Journalists/media are urged to avoid or restrict giraffeing in to strategic, tactical or operational matters and military justice system,” he warned. |
Augustine Again: like i just told @andrewza, you people think anything south africa does not have, does not exist.actually fighter pilot is still right since it is a radar imaging satellite and has such no camera, funny how you can not seem to see the difrrence |
question why don't you go home, if we so bad and evil and blacks are sub human why is somalia the lowest nation on earth. Street kids from mumbai slums go "well at least i am not in somalia" You kill foreigners who go to your place of origin (calling it a country is a insult to places like south sudan)to help you. Yet you want sympathy. Personally there is a somali spaza shop in simons town, they nice people but i feel nothing fools who complain yet they themselves are trouble makers. The township deal with trouble ever wondered why a rapist does not ask for bail when he lives in a township. It has nothing to do with racism or xenophobia, some somalis are just not trouble. Like those pirates. |
Augustine Again: quote a source that says there is none because you dont know it. since its like if south africa does not have a weapon then it does not exist or it cannot work...satellites dont see through clouds because south africa does not have one...modern satellites made in ordinary india see through clouds and see through dark night with infra red.there are no HEAT rounds for 155mm guns show me one since you so admit there are. So your satellite can see through clouds, using what tech. IR great you know the valour can remove it's ir signature. how can i post a source that there is not something? the prerogative is with you. that uses Explosively formed penetrator not high explosive anti tank there is a difference. nonetheless all these rounds share one common point they slow down before impact meaning useless vs a ship which has rapid firing autocannons and nigeria does not have any. |
panafrican: Those sons of the guns did it on purpose to kill him.unless the ambulance crashed i doubt he would die in transit, some of SAMHS ambulances are like a surgery on their own. |
Augustine Again: in case you dont know, artillery is also nicknamed 'tank k.iller' since world war II battles of american general patton against german general rommel in north africa, artillery began the defeat of great german general rommel's tank battalions in his afrika corp amoured divisionsyes and the most feared AT gun of world war 2 was a AA gun you want to shoot a tank with your 35mm gun go ahead. This is not WW2 currently only one HEAT ARTY round will use a HEAT warhead and it is a exprementail guided 155mm round. As of now there is no in use 155mm heat round nor do any arty guns fire HEAT. are you sure you work in the defense industry |
agaugust: i told you nothing special about HEAT rounds, google it on wikipedia they are ancient 1940 world war II invention for tank shells, and today developed for artillery from 102mm up to 152mm, 155mm and even 175mm . i will attempt posting a second artillery data file from my private library, this one is far less detailed than the massive one i posted and got banned for. artillery is my favorite militray weapon, both field artillery and air defence artillery, watch my past posts and you will see its my favourite w_eapon.you said your arty would shoot a valour with HEAT rounds, there is no HEAT rounds for ARTY why would you want a HEAT round for ARTY in any case. yes you could make one but why? What would a highly focused blasted achieve for a ARTY battry. |
agaugust: who cares ? the photo is real and speaks...more real than your Carver Jet fighter that never existed in realityso you agree that SA media does not post propaganda, the Carver would not have been economically viable in the 1990s though it still more than nigeria ever achieved. hell the gecko is more than nigeria ever achieved. |
patriot4: Given first of all that helmoed heitman was the first to say that in his "report" (propaganda for his armed forces), and that I saw no such link that wasn't relying on helmoed heitman's claims, I can say that it is not a credible claim.no we posted a link (the same one from that so loved pic of gecko nigerians repost all the time)where seleka spoke of the battle. |
