PoliticsRe: Should African Disputes/conflicts Be Handled By African Countries Themselves? by andrewza: 5:44pm On Jul 04, 2013
As it stands, African nations need the helps of global bodies such as European Union (EU) and United Nations (UN) to

resolved conflicts. Most African nations do not have the funds or resource, to fight and suppress violent rebels and

insurgents that are well armed and well funded. Moreover, if you look back at the history of Africa, you will see that

manner issues and disagreements tends to lead to genocide. Africa is not capable of handling it's own disputes and

conflicts because of poverty, illiteracy, unreliable government, corruption, bad infrastructure, and lack of innovation

and technology.
And sometimes outside bodies will hinder or even aid in rebellions.

2 cases are open to us.

ONE CAR. In CAR france controlled the airport and prevented SA from flying in reinforcements, it claimed that it would make the airport a target for the rebels. There is strong evidence that Chad a strong ally of france aided the rebels. If there were no french interference SA could have flown in there battalion to CAR instead of uganda.

Malil, the rebellion only occurred because of the fall in libya flooded the are with lots of military grade tech and weapons, libya only fell because NATO over step their mandate of implementing a no fly zone and insteaded provided rebels with close air support. Thus NATO caused malil.

skype1986: if there happen 2 b a coup in nigeria, ecowas,AU,nt even SA can do anythin 2 force 9ja bk 2 civilian rule,d highest they will do is make noise cos i can bet it wit anybodi no country in africa wil make a mistake 2 attack 9Ja in any form,d highest dey can do is xpel nigerians out f there country.SA 4 example cannt do this cos we will close dwn mtn 4 dem in 9ja nd west africa. wat may probably happen re series f sanctions 4rm d US,UK,nd d EU against nigeria nd even aside 4rm dat, 9ja is quite influential she will cope wit wat eva pressure comin 4rm external foreign countries. The bst bet is a revolt 4rm nigerians themselves which will nw b fuelled by foriegn countries like d US nd UK.this is bst bet.
A invasion is not going to happen i agree and if the coup plotters are smart they could lessen the economic backlash to a few weapons sales sanctions.

But international sanctions would cripple nigeria, your industrial base is to small for nigeria.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 4:56pm On Jul 04, 2013
on the matter of SA vs nigeria in police and level of violence.

SA has very high crime levels but by far most murders occur between people who know each other EG you hang with a bad crowd you asking for trouble. There is also thread on this subject

agaugust: @Andrewza called me F00L many times and he just called me bloody brain today. I called him a fool yes, how does that equal calling him an animal APE / MONKEY ?

I have personally stood up against any insult to @Andrewza about his medical issues on this forum, even against my own countrymen.

Calling a black man an APE /MONKEY is a worldwide language of racial hatred established since the time of slave trade till today.

You are a clear racist, don't twist it !

.

.
i believe i said use your bloody brain, you should be honored as it is a upgrade from fool. It implies you have the intellect but refuse to use it. i am basically saying "you know you wrong"

for the rest, i agree calling a black man a monkey is racist.

agaugust: south african valour frigates like any other stealth warship is visible to enemy radar appearing as about 25% of its normal size. so no where to hide in open sea. nigerian airforce ATR-42 Surveyor maritime aircrafts have powerful sea search radar with fantastic long range 330km.

in real war, once those south african frigate fire one single missile the ships position is known to the enemy and stealth value is lost, imagine when it fires 8 missiles, the ship's position/location is totally betrayed as judas iscariot betrayed jesus christ grin

you got 2, and a frigat can stay at sea for far longer than a aircraft can in the air, you have nothing in your invontory to use to attack our valour frigats. as was mentioned in the little discussion. We can out wait it.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Or South Africa , Which Is More Violent ? I Need To Know Urgently by andrewza: 9:11am On Jul 04, 2013
Let's put it this way. In SA most muerders hapen between people who know each other. So don't hang around with the wrong crowd you will be fine. Most robbers don't want to kill you just your money.

Nigeria has indescrimted vilonence. Intera villges get raided, bombings, extra.

SA has very accurit poliece recorders. Nigeria has many undocument crimes.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Or South Africa , Which Is More Violent ? I Need To Know Urgently by andrewza: 9:01am On Jul 04, 2013
frosbel: But seriously , if South Africa is not as violent as Nigeria, how come all the whites are running away.

In fact we have tons of our beloved white African brothers working here in the UK and doing exceptionally well.

By God's mercies, I have been on holiday to Nigeria many times and have never had any issues relating to security such as kidnappings, robberies etc.

I attribute this to God's protection.
Most whites leave due to economics. Affertiv acstion and all that. Basicaly me has a white south african am less effected by crime than say the poor black. How ever I am less lickley to get a promostion. The SANDF has balnced out now so if another white guy above me gets promoted or leaves I have a spot. How ever privat companies are not ballanced so you end up with sittsions where a black guy will jump in front of white people. A good example is SAA who have stoped hiring white pilots.

Many white people leave because of this. On average a black persone is at great risk of crime.

Henry120: nigeria has a large european/american community, but unlike in SA, zimbabwe, namibia or angola where white people like yourself are indigenous to the country, in nigeria, most caucasians are expat's.

You got a huge number of europeans, americans and white south africans in nigeria.

There is also a huge asian community, largest african lebanese community, indians, chinese and filipinos. Outside johannesburg, lagos, luanda and nairobi are africa's most cosmopolitan cities.

The guys in that photo are most likely Israelis. The israelis have a huge presence in nigeria's defence sector.
thanks, it makes sense that they are israely. Probably the trainers.

Israel is very big in the african defense in general. You find them all over the place. When the israeli SF did that rescue at entebbe some of the members had been there before to train the ugandan soldiers. Idiamen actual let the terrorist land there because he was angry at israel for pulling out their support. Seems they did not want to train soldiers who cut of the limbs of women.

However it not out of love, they helped apartheid SA well helping black african countries that had emerged from colonial rule. This is why SA and israel are not on the best of terms.

NaijaPikinGidi: As usual your story changes. Before it has always been stories of how perfect South Africa is and how terrible everything Nigeria is. Suddenly, after the real ugly side of South Africa has been exposed you want to give yourselves some softlanding by saying you never denied having problems. Like we all have known and said here, all that glitters in South Africa is not gold. Cry us an ocean with your budgets!
Hardly has was mentioned this article was posted last year all ready. I said the same thing then. All so go through my posts you will see where i mention a few times how the SANDF is underfunded by about 2 billion USD and short about 10 000 soldiers. agaugust: nobody here believes so called seleka rebels comments published in any south african news media because all south africans were born with the hereditary genetics of telling lies to convince a clinically dead man that he is only asleep for one night.

who will trust a south african source ? mr.satellite, show us a BBC/VOA/DW/RFI/REUTERS report that quotes a seleka rebel directly and not quoting what a south african source fraudulently claimed seleka said. we are not fools here...south africa has a 'satellite' for military use called DSTV, where your army watches terminator, predator, rambo and harry porter movies

.
so we can say all nigerian sources are lies. Where did the pick you use come from. Who took it, BBC? VOA? CNN? because you say all info from SA media is wrong we never even lost any thing. USE your bloody brain. Why don't you post the article where that pic came from

And i still want your source on the T-craft hull
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by andrewza: 1:00pm On Jul 03, 2013
chris365: and to think that seleka is not as organised and sophisticated as the rebels in Liberia, SL, Niger-delta, Boko Haram. i can't even imagine what will happen when south african military face only challenges of Boko Haram. not to talk of all the challenges the Nigerian military faces both domestic and world wide. i think that article i posted is very correct and SA military should never be compared with Nigerian Military in any way. (even if they produce the shiniest weapons in the world) even Kenya will invade SA from my own point of view... QED
you do know selka had Chadian army generals in its high command, had heavy weapons up to 23mm auto canons. For the most part selka was a very well armed group. so please dont talk about what you do not know

has was said and has this shows the gripen is the better air craft.

You only got 2 AAMs at 850km combat radiance, Gripen can fly 800km and still perform both ground attacks and anti air. It can carry more to, basically the F7 is a joke
Foreign AffairsRe: Which African Country Has The Most Formidable Standing Army? by andrewza: 10:12pm On Jul 01, 2013
Pabsjoe: SA may have all the best military hardware in Africa but it is the worst trained.Recently they were butched with mere untrained rebels in the CAR.Interms of effectiveness in southern africa i would rate Zimbabwe as number 1.It may not fit in yo criteria but those guys were the ones who defended Kinshasa on the brink of collapse to the rebels, where did laurent kabila run to to ask for military help?it was Zim,why didnt he go to SA?it was Zim Army again which led the final assault that killed jonas savimbi in Angola,Zim army also helped fight the Renamo bandits in Mozambique.Again it also helped Namibia get its independence.Right now it is the one training the officers of the SADC standby brigade. It has deployed on UN missions more than any other country in africa. It has been asked to deploy in Kossovo,Somalia.Darfur region etc..if u want to see more interms of combat experience and past operations jus google ZNA and you will c that it has participated in many conflicts than any other country could.also remember it was the first country to deploy in DRC and it recaptured key towns and institutions among them the dam which supplied power to Kinshasa which had been taken by rebels.Zim may be a small army and doesnt have morden hardware but interms of combat experience it very lethal,Ask the CIA or the British,
250 odd SA solders fought more than 3000 heavily armed rebels who included ex military types and mercs from sudan and chad. SA suffered 15 dead 25 wounded and killed around 800 rebls. One rebel captain admitted to reports he lost half of his 500 strong force alone. When fighting the para bat company (200 men with a attchet weapons platton) rebels thought there were 400 south african solders.

So please best not to talk about what does not understand
