True stupidity is when someone says a generational talent should not be included in the top 75 of a sport that that generational talent is a generational talent in. Coming from the quarters of people who believe a virus will mutate in a host who took nothing that will cause the virus to mutate (to survive). Lebtards and vaxxstards name a more iconic duo. |
Unlimited22:his goal was open play. Corner played short to Cancelo. Who took a short that was stopped by Jesus who took a shot that was deflected but went in. |
Khanben:I saw one of your posts where you said some people use boxscores to analyze games without watching them. I am sorry to say but that is the best way to describe you in this discussion. You say a lot of things that show you clearly did not watch any of the games. For e.g Do you know Iggy got hurt in that series against the Blazers? Do you know prior to his injury which ruled him out of game 4 he scored 4, 4 and 2 points? Do you know CJ was better than Dame in that series as well as the Pelicans series you tried to put a spin to? Do you know that if Dame had matched CJ's output they would have beat the Pels and at least extended the GSW series to at least 6? Do you know that the blazers were the 3rd seed in that series against the Pels (6th seed) and nobody gave the Pels a chance because Demarcus Cousins got hurt and their form tanked? That Jrue Holiday played out of his skin for the Pels to eke out narrow wins because your Dame was playing absolute garbage like we have been telling you? |
etidy:He is replying from the prism of protecting Lebron's legacy so I would not read much into what he is saying. Klay Thompson is now a generational talent but he did not make the top 75 and CJ is a 3rd option on a championship team. lol |
Khanben:The only argument you can make against Kyrie when compared to Dame is durability. I wanted to steer clear of his achievements because I thought it was a given. If you must know, Kyrie was drafted to a bad Cavs team which nobody expected him to elevate beyond what he did. There is a reason Lebron made them reshuffle the team and trade their top draft pick upon his arrival. You might call him the second wheeler but the Cavs don't win their 2016 ring without him. Heck, all the hype Lebron gets for the 2016 title but people forget that he stat padded for the first 2 games (continued to play even when those games were blowouts) and their games 3,5,6,7 wins are impossible without Kyrie. Kyrie even kept them in the game 7 until James came alive in the 3rd Quat (they scored the same points in games 5 and 7). And he hit the shot that sealed the win for them. That is more than anything Dame has done. You can argue that Dame took his Blazers to the WCFs but that roster was better than what Kyrie had at the Cavs before Bron and if he was fit against the Cavs in the ECFs where the Celts went 2-0 up and lost 4-3 to the Cavs, it will be hard to say he would have not made an impact. Nevertheless, Dame was swept by AD and the Pelicans in what should have been a surefire win for the Blazers. Dame got swept by a KD-less warriors team having led most of those games by double digits. Dame got wrecked by a Murray-less Denver last season as well. What we typically see as signature to Dame is folding when the pressure is on - the Olympics for e.g. Kyrie on the otherhand rose to the biggest of occasions. |
etidy:Ben Simmons is too mentally weak for me even though the Warriors are one franchise that are known to resuscitate damaged players. The issue with Dray is, he is the vocal leader of the warriors and Curry and Klay sentimentally will want him there. That said, I agree that Draymond has peaked and will never be better than his DPOY self. |
Khanben:When we talk about Kyrie, it is in comparison to active players and by every margin, Kyrie makes that list. First, if AD makes the list, Kyrie should. AD played along side an all time great to win anything. In fact, Lebron is yet to win anything without an all time great if that is an equitable argument to make against Kyrie. Kyrie represents more than just his skills - which if we are keeping it a hun'id - is elite (especially his ball handling). Kyrie is a maverick. Notice, I am not reeling out his all star appearances, FIBA MVP title and whatnot. Those speak for themselves. But Kyrie's larger impact than Dame is undeniable. Kyrie is even amongst the top selling shoes to add to his philanthropy. I am a Curry fan but Kyrie's shoes are worn by more people than Curry's. I mean people might buy Curry's to support him, but people actually do like wearing the Kyrie's. He is that impactful. You and me know why he did not make that list and it is because the NBA wants to act like the past tense of wake. If his name was changed to Kyrie Mamhud Abdul Rauf or some version of it (to accompany his new faith) - everybody would have loved him. This might be my conspiracy theory on the issue but I believe they replaced Kyrie's name with Dame's. |
The warriors are nothing without Curry. Wiggins needs to pick up. |
KNIGHTBlaed:Dame and AD should never make that list over Kyrie, Klay or Dwight. |
Every member of the New York Knicks team that won 2 titles between 1970-1973 made the list but Klay Thompson and Draymond Green with 3 titles and 5 straight finals from 2014-2019 did not make the list. Ohk. |
benji93:He has reverted to his regular shooting form and not the new one he developed during the offseason. |
yomi96:Abeg, when anyone answers this question let me know. Why have the big pharmas refused to release the patent rites to the world(since we all need the jab,to survive)Bro, a lot of what you are seeing here is Koolaid. If a particular effective drug's patent has expired, it means just about any and every one can mass produce it. If that is the case, the drug will be cheap and Bigpharma will not cashout, so of course, Bigpharma will pay shills to say that drug is not potent (even when said drug was formerly listed as an essential drug by the WHO is who if you know what I mean), heck, they will even bribe constituted authority to retract endorsements or brandish all reports of the drugs' potency as "anecdotal". Next, let's say you needed RCTs (randomized controlled tests) to justify the effectiveness of that drug for a particular disease. For it to be "approved" for that particular disease, you need large RCTs which only Bigpharma can sponsor. Of course, they will not sponsor it. Instead they will get parrots to say weird stuff like "horse dewormer" and "insufficient data" to de-market it. In addition, if that drug is proven to be even somewhat effective, Bigpharma will lose the EUA (emergency use authorization) they have which allows them to propagate unapproved jabs, because to obtain that EUA, they needed to claim that there was no alternative to fixing that disease (part of why you hear shills saying things like "novel disease" "crisis" "pandemic" "emergency situation" etc). It is to create an impression that the world is so overwhelmed, they (Bigpharma) should be allowed to skip important steps and to do what they like. Now ask yourself one question, why do Bigpharma even prefer vaccines (which should be prophylactic in effect) to curative or therapeutic medicine? You read someone imply it goes against their M.O, but I can tell you that nothing can be further from the truth. They prefer vaccines because of this keyword - INDEMNITY. If you get wounded or killed by the jab, you or your next of kin cannot sue Bigpharma for compensation. You cannot even sue your govt (a technicality exists but I digress). You are O.Y.O. However, Bigpharma don't enjoy such privileges with curative drugs. So tell me, which will they prefer to venture into? You guessed it...vaccines! So when you asked people to follow the money, that is how to follow the money. Forget innuendos and vibes. |
yomi96:Sebi you dey read it ni? I come dey wonder whether na only me dey read am. I don't know what is a greater misinformation than someone saying Trump was telling people not to take the jab. The man that calls himself Mr. Vaccine and Mr. OWS? The things I have read here ehn...choi. Nobel Prize winning Ivermectin for its work on human beings is now horse dewormer because CNN said so. Even when Dr. Sanjay Gupta accepted recently that they (the company he works for) were wrong? Sheeple cannot see how jabbed players will touch each other, make contact, sweat, spit out mouth guard, touch it, dap each other but then when those very same players go to the bench they have to wear masks whilst sitting side by side. But the jab is safe and "effective". Who is de-marketing the jab better the people who want others to use it? |
DISCLAIMER: MISINFORMATION ALERT! birdman:https://www.fda.gov/regulatory-information/search-fda-guidance-documents/emergency-use-authorization-medical-products-and-related-authorities With all that being said, it is still a stretch to use this to conclude that you wont take the vaccine. For every distinguished scientist that hates the vaccine, there are 100 distinguished scientist that approve it. No matter the corruption in big pharma, there is more safety in checks by 100 people versus one lone wolf.https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna32657347

steady986: Science!!!! |
steady986:You are a god-forsaken ignoramus. PS: When I use the term I refer to people I love and wish well in life. ![]() |
birdman:You are right senior man. Us antivaxxers, don't even care if we have naturally acquired immunity we are just refusing this safe and effective jab. I am just praying more people don't join us when infallible Pope Fauci and Queen Mother Rochelle Walensky redefine what fully vaccinated means when they state that if one has not taken the booster shot, they will lose their fully vaccinated privileges. I know you have URLs to prove to me that they have denied they will ever do that. Just like they denied they will ever mandate the jabs and I trust them as they have never lied to us. But just incase the data changes and they do, I hope all the NBA players that have taken 2 jabs and refuse the booster are referred to as antivaxxers. I hope they lose their jobs and livelihood. They deserve it. Somebody shout halleluyah!!!!!! |
steady986:When did anyone become anti-vax because they took many other vaccines and not one particular so-called vaccine? Are you anti-sports because you (maybe) only watch soccer and basketball? lol |
I said I won't say anything again but I just want to say Kyrie is now my favourite player in the NBA. I just read that the Nets offered him a chance to take regular tests before games and he refused - that is ballsy. I would not have refused that option. The man is fully committed to his convictions and I will always root for such a player whether I agree with him or not. I pray he goes to a team that will let him play and I will also be praying that he wins an MVP and finals MVP to go with another ring. He has heart and he deserves to succeed. As for other wise people who can smell a rat - 70K healthcare workers were fired in NYC for not taking a jab during a "pandemic". If anyone could think, they should find out how in one breath someone can complain about health institutions being overwhelmed (hoax) and in another breath, you fire the workforce that would have prevented you from being overwhelmed. Like someone on the Chelsea thread said, I laugh in new world order. Don't forget brethren, that these same healthcare workers were called heroes because they worked during the heat of the crisis last year when there was no jab available. Now they are selfish because they won't take a "free" jab. But this is about science!!!! |
Roland17:If you believe in Kyrie's cause, good for you. Do well to make posts supporting him and if you believe in prayer, pray for him as well. As for this my post, there is ABSOLUTELY nothing I have said that is misinformation. If anything, time has proven all those who called people names as the liars whose only intent was to mislead the public. When they publicly redefine what "fully vaccinated" means in the US and call the double jabbed NBA players who will refuse the 3rd jab antivaxxers, may be, just may be, some people will then realize the lies they have been fed. Till then, back to basketball only matters. I won't be responding to any questions or posts unrelated to purely basketball. |
Khanben:No, I did not read all 3k plus emails. OhK? |
Khanben:It did and you do not know what you are talking about. I have been hesitant to derail and I will thread the path of caution even as I engage this but after the highlighted portion, I just needed to say some things. First, I don't even know if you know what clinical trials are and why any trial should be allowed to progress beyond a particular phase, but in drug or vaccine development programs, you do not fail forward. That is, if you fail at a stage, you are not allowed to move into another stage except politics, not true science, is involved. Besides, what polio vaccine development program are you referring to? You do know that before Jonas Salk's began in 1955, at least 2 other programs were already halted from 1940 or so because of the failures experienced in the Chimpanzees? From the point that polio vaccine development begun to when it was finally approved how many years do you think it took? If you are bold, post it here and juxtapose it with the so-called vaccine for COVID19. Remind me of the point in the polio vaccine story where people had to pick between their jobs or taking it? Were the 1.8 million participants not volunteers? How many deaths were needed before even Jonas' program was halted? The virus isolation procedure that Enders used (which Jonas' also used and improved upon) have you found one for Sars-Cov2? Can any scientist swear on his credentials that this Sars-Cov2 has been extracted and purified? The flimsily fake one they tried to present, did it prove reproducible? Was it not tossed out as a fraud? Did you say animal trials were skipped? Not that all the humanized mice and rhesus monkeys died yet they proceeded hurriedly to the next step? How many years in between did all these happen? What studies have you seen that will adequately capture what the long term side effects of these jabs will do say in 5 years? 10 years? Could the "FDA" not answer these questions concerning the polio vaccine in 1980 before the WHO recommended worldwide vaccination against polio? Wait, they skipped animal trials based on Sars-Cov1 but kept lying ab initio that Sars-Cov2 was novel? Should the FDA also have approved skipping of animal trials for polio type 2 because of the success of polio 1 vaccine development program? If Sars-Cov2 is as similar to Sars-Cov1 as to supposedly justify skipping of animal trials, then why does the man who claimed human to human transmission was inevident for Sars-Cov2 still have a job when Sars-Cov1 was declared transmissible via human to human contact? Please, I just wanted to be a voice of reasoning for Kyrie. This thread is about basketball and I want to leave it that way. |
As for Kyrie and the Nets, they should trade him. He is of no value to them not training and not playing so the argument about looking for adequate pieces to augment a trade is asinine. As for those celebrating this laughable and political move by the Nets, let me just remind you that this very same Kyrie was playing for the same team and with the same players just a few months ago whilst still unjabbed. This same player played with other Nets players who were presumably at the time unjabbed (he was not spreading a disease then). But somehow, just a few months after, that same player is persona non grata even though the other players have taken something that makes them protected against Kyrie (if he ever gets the disease). But this is about... science!!! The good thing is, tomorrow is pregnant. |
Khanben:I can give a robust response but I don't know what your point is (yet). |
Khanben:I did. |
SmooshCHN:If you don't take it, you can't work = but you are not being forced to take it. Ask Wiggins what he felt. "Put others at risk" but in the same breath, the others are safe and immunized. And you were telling people to go back to school? lol. Like I said before, you are a medical doctor that was trained in china, if you said anything else, that is when I would have been surprised. lol |
Hohenheim:That is not how it works my good man. Before polio vaccines were mandated, there were clinical trials in 3 phases done and the long term effects, efficacy, safety and effectiveness were all studied as well as its durability. Then the FDA or similar in whatever country fully approved it which enabled the govt to mandate it and employers to follow likewise. With these present jabs find out if what I have mentioned was fully done and then ask yourself why they will go on to mandate something that they know has not met the requirements stated above. Until that is done, a player like Kyrie is "free" to not participate in the investigation. He should not be forced into it. Hence why I said I am pro-freedom on this issue. |
benji93:You are far more objective than many others. As for Kyrie, he said he believed the earth was flat on a podcast with Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye and he never denied saying so when checked. I believe he even apologized. When will Fauci apologize for lying? After all, some people are quoting him as though he is infallible and they used his own very words to call others names last year. Now those people have been proven right and Fauci a liar. |
donlittle25:Ohk. My point was, Kyrie presumably being wrong on one issue does not mean he will be wrong on others. Whether I agree with him or not in any of them is irrelevant. |
donlittle25:Fauci also said in public that Sars-COV2 was 100% a natural evolution from bats but in his leaked private emails he was telling his confidants that it appeared man-made. In that same time in 2020, if you said it was, Facebook and co deleted your post or tagged you a misinformer. Today, the same Facebook and co accept it as true. Which means the people who were called names last year were right and Fauci was wrong, but you listen to Fauci yet won't take Kyrie seriously? lol. |
SmooshCHN:Not boiling at all. Disappointed but definitely not boiling. But then you are a Medical Doctor so lol. |
benji93:Intelligent enough to be pro-freedom. Intelligent enough to know that being pro-freedom is not the same as being an "anti-vaxxer" lol. Intelligent enough to know that Kyrie was not called an anti-vaxxer for not taking the flu jab, because he must have taken other jabs, so it is the greatest show of rank idiocy to call him that because he refused to take one particular type of jab. |
