Trevor012:They are watching the angles that showed the ball hit his side first before hitting him under arm. To me, it was soft, but they acted like VAR reviewed it for a while before accepting it. The referee handling the VAR should be the one to explain. They should also explain how the handball in the first half was not reviewed nor the one when Phil Foden took a shot towards the end of the game. |
See the penalty Ronaldo just got and the other day Tomiyasu was pulled but VAR did not even review it. What a sad day of football refereeing wise. |
ILoveDemMANNA:Manchester City's penalty was not dodgy. Wolves handled the ball in the final minutes and VAR refused to review it. Jesus was fouled what was to be a soft penalty but a penalty nonetheless but it was not reviewed. Jesus deserved a penalty more than Salah. |
andrewbaba44:Don't mind him. |
If you are an Aston Villa fan you have to feel hard done by. |
How did Aston Villa not get a penalty there? |
How did Milner escape a yellow card there? |
How did VVD not get sent off? |
raumdeuter:Did anyone respond to this? |
Seems like that 45% ain't turning into Ws. ![]() |
raumdeuter:lol. Me and you know say Tuchel will try to play 0-0 till penalties and hope that Kepa bales him out. Lol. Barca are facing an identity crisis. Bayern can use them to do yeye. Dem no follow. |
raumdeuter:Like I said, your attack is not in question. You can carve and just about dice out any team. But if you concede a chance to an ultra defensive setup like Tuchel will bring against you guys, you could concede another chance and goal if you push people forward. My guess is, Bayern will squeeze in to score first in both legs which will force a team like Chelsea to have to come out. If they do, then Bayern could really ravage them in Germany but it won't be that way at Chelsea under Tuchel. That is not to say I am saying Chelsea will beat you guys but Tuchel's setup will protect his team from disgrace. |
popizaino:Liverpool? LOLOL. |
Segedinho:Liverpool had many injuries but VVDs was the longest of them all. Matip, Fabinho, Thiago, Trent etc all got layoffs last season. |
raumdeuter:They can score many goals but I am analyzing them against this Chelsea and it will not be a game of goals. Naggelsman would have to be more measured in his approach because he knows his team concedes chances. I know even you know that your team concedes some chances but Naggelsman's approach makes his players focus on just blitzing and outscoring teams. |
raumdeuter:lol. Bayern will win over 2 legs like 3-1, 4-2, 5-3 etc. Maximum of a 2 goal difference. |
donstan18:You have some injuries and a long season. When Liverpool fans were talking about injuries last season, why do they think they had those injuries? Klopp who started both Salah and Mane yesterday is the mumu that is chasing a useless record. Tomorrow when they start having muscle injuries, he will turn around and tell you that is the reason he won nothing yet he is misusing his players for a record that does not matter. Your manager needs to rotate. Whether he is getting them right is what time will tell. |
popizaino:Bayern are very good but they would not walk over this Chelsea team as they have glaring weaknesses. Bayern's defence is very high and they are very very liable to gifting chances even in the games they have blitzed teams. I am not saying Chelsea will beat them over 2 legs, but it won't be 7-1. In fact, it would be very close should Bayern win. |
donstan18:Liverpool are also defensively suspect but have great attackers. You guys are given to hot takes and emotive responses. I am analyzing based on what I have watched and I have watched most of Bayern FC games including their 3-2 win over Dortmund (which should have been 3-3). All the good teams this season have holes. If you cannot see it, leave football analysis for people who can. |
Actually Chelsea can hurt Bayern because they are very susceptible to counter attacks and they are not the most balanced team. Their CB pairing is questionable. In every other department they are great. |
DeeMain:You write intelligently but sometimes add minding your business to it. We habitually throw jabs here and there. I could very well be biased in some of my points but they are factos- all the raw data and citations to that effect can easily be sourced. I am considering taking on your points one after the other but I am not so sure it interests me that much. I will only just add that the "Iggy shutdown" humdrum is the popular and over-rehashed narrative but it is hard to sell to even LeBron haters as the man "inefficiently" averaged 35.8 points per game. He was "inefficient" when he had 44 in game 1 as well and would you be surprised to find out Iggy did not start that game as well? |
Khanben:LeBron played a handicapped Miami Heats and claimed that was his most difficult ring. Hoohoo. Shannon 'not too sharp' and similar Lebtards were chorusing such a dumb narrative like it is the gospel. When they tell you "LeBron had to win 2 games on his own" I laugh. Without that Kyrie injury, GSW were settling for a sweep. Maybe they don't remember, but Cleveland lost the only game Kyrie played in (and yes Kyrie played 43+ mins - even more than Curry did). Providence allowed Matthew Delly to be moved into the starting line up and he was the one who was turning the series over. Incase people forgot, Bronny had a big game 1 but his team still lost. So the notion that his big numbers was solely what got his team those wins can only be from the archive of someone who watches the back of his TV. Matthew harassed Curry so badly he was turning over the ball 6 more times than usual and GSWs ORB was 10-15 lower than Clevelands. We were getting abused physically. LeBron called them the grit squad. Even when Curry had a decent game 3 he was still very inefficient with negative +/-. Meanwhile Della was having Cleveland highs of +15 and +13 in those 2 games. LeMAO never came close. Yet "he won those 2 games on his own". Iguodala's MVP was not about defending LeBron. That was just lazy analysis (Lebron's numbers barely shifted). Iggy was inserted to that starting line up to frustrate Matthew. That was what opened the series for GSW and it was blowout after blowout till fade. People who swept the 60 win ATL Hawks in the ECF should stop telling us about Kevin Love. He was injured game 1 of the first round against the Celtics. They did fine without him. I have since shown that Kyrie played full minutes up to OT and his team lost. Cleveland always needed someone to take Curry out - simple. Tyronn Lue who worked with David Blatt took notes and that was his strategy for all the years that Cavs and GSW went at it - even when Kevin Durant was riding Curry's coattail. That same Kevin Durant that had just frizzled a 3-1 lead to a player he is 8 inches taller than and supposedly carried to 2 rings. Stupid things we have to read here from not too sharp people. |
birdman:I don't know if they played their hands or not. They were just coming from a back to back so they are granted that. But that game was over by the half without the ridiculous free throws they got. At some point at just after the half, they had shot 28 FTs to Warriors 5. That game is not reflective of a well umpired game. |
benji93:Curry had his worst shooting career wise and we were down 1 with 3 mins to go (game 1). The Suns are good and what not but they got 35 FTs yesterday to the home team's 12 and they still lost by 22. I said it before, Klay and Wiseman back at 90% of who they can be, Warriors make the NBA finals at the very least. |
Auba was anon today. Wished it ended in a draw. |
Partey has been better this second half. |
kokanepyramid:Unintelligent player. |
Jodera:and he holds the power to unlock this game. Not even ESR. Him. Because he is one United are pressing. |
Partey is not the player Arsenal fans think he is. |
Illimitable:His point stands. If it showed his mettle to win with Porto, then winning with Madrid and Chelsea should have been a walk in the park in more recent times. He failed, which implies that it was easier to win then than it is to win now. |
Ibukzy:You caught that too. Very nifty. LOL |
KNIGHTBlaed:I wonder why you guys take that guy seriously. I knew Warriors were going to split the series against Suns so it was only right that we lost on their ground. The team was very sloppy and the Suns threw bodies at Steph which helped but some of his shooting was woeful. To me, I had been silent on the Warriors this season, but I am now convinced with Klay and Wiseman back to 90% of who they can be, we are going to the NBA finals. No doubts. On Friday, Warriors will blow out the Suns and Steph will have a big shooting night. That rye smile at the end of the game (the same one he gave after we lost to the Blazers last season) gave him away. Steve Kerr has his skoi skoi moments but he forced Phoenix to show their hands. Sorry about DBooks injury though. Hope he comes back soon. |
