Last season was Greenwood. Now the boy is no where to be found. United fans are something else entirely. Only a senseless person will compare Kdb to any Midfielder in the league.
I saw someone asking what KdB had won compared to Bruno Fernandez so I started asking myself what Bruno Fernandez had won. The people asking the question are hyping EPL player of the MONTH but are downplaying EPL player of the YEAR.

Predicting Lakers to win a being dishonest?
And which team did he predict last year initially before he changed his mind because he saw what was happening? Tell me if that's not honesty.
You are not answering my question. I asked you if he is being honest because he predicted that the LAL will win even when you know that ever since KD called him out, he has voted and spoken against KD.

Broussard is one of the few honest analysts remaining in the world. Asked if the Nets have a chance of winning the title with their big three and he gave an emphatic NO! But trust Skip. Lol. He kept whining about it even though he said just yesterday that he wouldn't trade the Nets bench prices for Harden. Lol. Shannon did him bad by bringing out a paper with the quote. You should have seen the look on Skip's face grin Uncle Shay was definitely made for Skip
Broussard is honest because he is predicting Lakers to win? You do know that Broussard is mostly saying so because KD put him in his place in 2019?

How many did Lebron win without Wade, Kyrie and AD and how many did Durrant win without Steph ?

Even as a GSW fan, I have to agree with this. I feel the pressure is more on Kerr than Steph. Kerr is the man with a lot more to prove.

It may take time and patience but I believe GSW will rise from the ashes
While I will not hold any briefs for Coach Kerr as I believe he deserves some stick for certain aspects, will you be honest to say the same pundits who never changed their minds on a team they rated 6th in 2014 don't have an opinion that matters? Notice how eerily quiet they are on Nick Nurse, Brad Stevens and even Steve Nash (he is new etc. But if someone else had that roster they will say he was underperforming with the team). It is one of the reasons I don't buy the "he has to prove himself" rhetorics. Coach Kerr just like Steph, stopped needing to prove anything since 2014-2016.

I am not a curry hater, and I give him him every due. I dont think it is hating to point out that he is not a CP3 type PG. Just like CP3 will never be a Curry type shooter. It is what it is.

I know Cp3 would do more with this current warriors team than Curry would, because what they really need is leadership, not shooting skills. Is this a criticism of Curry? Yes, but its constructive, and its something that if he works on can put him in a top 10-20 all time great. Just trying to argue that he is already as good as he could be is not helpful. Even Lebron had to learn how to shoot 3s to add to his resume! He will never be a curry or beal or ray allen type shooter, but he has another ring plus finals mvp off of it.
Of course, I agree that he is not a CP3 style leader and whether CP3 will achieve much?? ( the season just started) with this squad than Stephen is moot. The only evidence we have is Curry has won more with underrated teams than CP3 ever would. The fish to fry here is that Curry is a leader who does not lead by yelling or forcing issues. He follows the coaches instructions to the letter and believes that when he is at his best, it elevates the chances of anyone around him like Timmy and Dirk. If that is not what this current roster of the warriors need, you may be right but only time will tell. I only took you up on your claim that Curry does not make those around him much better. That is untrue.

Truth is Steph, Klay and Draymond overachieved while the likes of Blake and the Clippers criminally underachieved.

They are the original 3-1 chokers, they deposed the Spurs and I was so sure they would reach the Finals after leaving Houston for dead and dumping the Warriors out the previous year
Anyone who is trying to be honest will say exactly what you said. People forget that virtually everyone kept saying the warriors win had an asterisk which is why they started the next season in anger, did 24-0, eventually 73-9 and were 1 win away from repeating.

Blake was always injured. Every playoffs. In what world are you rating mr glass over klay. Lmao
I am not saying Blake is better than Klay Thompson. I am saying when that roster for the Clippers was being set up it was with the mentality that Blake would be better. Blake was supposed to be better than Curry if you recall. The bottomline being that that Clippers "Lob City" team was built to be better than the Warriors in 2014. You are a basketball head on here so you will remember that the warriors were projected to be the 5-6th seed that year and many pundits predicted Lebron going back to Cleveland will win it all. So please, Curry does have his very palpable weaknesses some of which I have agreed with you, but making others better is not one of them. Let us give him his dues.

Cheap of you to want to put this on Draymond on his first game back.
Which means shouting is not what wins you games that is my point. Yesterday, the other GSW players had wide open threes that they missed and Portland could not miss. It is not surprising that the score difference was reflective of the three points shooting as well. I don't think any Warriors supporter will be expecting a ring this year based on the roster but like I earlier mentioned, the league will ebb, flow and feel like a roller coaster for many teams if not all. Dirk Nowtizki is another Curry-style leader who lets his game do the leading. I just wanted to add that.

I lifted the roster from Basketball reference as is. You can look it up. I respect you though. You had no argument to make so you hid behind Klay Thompson who was never rated better than Blake Griffin (the next best player on Chris Paul's roster).

Skip bAyless, is that you? tongue

What you also failed to tell the audience is that he averaged 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds and 8.8 assists across six Finals games.

You also failed to mention that Bron is the first player in NBA Finals history to lead both teams in points, assists and rebounds for the entire series.
A great player like Lebron having all the possession was always going to get the most points and assists. Somehow nobody wants Harden to win regular season MVPs because the way he plays allows him to get such stats but the argument is different when Lebron is involved, why?

A player that denied being hit by Draymond Green but then begged the NBA to suspend him "because I am a father of 3 kids" yet the NBA that had given DG a tech on the day decided to revisit the call to change it to a flagrant foul after the game so they could suspend DG. Do you want me to post Lebrons and Iggys numbers in that series ??

Iggy guarded Lebron and was on the winning team.

I guess you have your answer now.
I don't understand this. As SC scored more and had more assists than Kawhi in 2019 should Fred Van Vleet have been given FMVP trophy or scoring the most points in a series that someone loses makes them worthy of the FMVP trophy?

Man, it's gon be a long season for the Warriors. When they lose they lose heavily, when they win they win narrowly. Maybe it's their defence they need to even worry about. You can't keep shipping these large numbers on a nightly basis.

I assume that they usually pick FMVP from the winners. Bron, to me, was the best player from both sides.
If a player holds the ball every possession and has 200 FGA is he expected to make less points and assists than another player who has the ball only once out of every 3 possessions and has only 140 FGA?
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by Android17: 11:53am On Dec 29, 2020

You people need to stop arguing with this guy. cheesy grin. Typical Lebron fan. He brought the injuries for the 2015 finals only to ignore the fact that there were injuries/suspension(s) in 2016 when Cleveland won. He only puts forth a point when it favors Lebron, but when the same is made for another entity, it never happened. What a bunch of nonsense. I have expressed my suspicion. Warriors won because of a deep bench where the key players were Barbosa and Livingston averaging 5 points and maresse speights averaging 3.7 points grin grin

Curry lead the warriors in points scored by at least 10points per game in the 2014/2015 playoffs, lead in assist and steals while also averaging 5 rebounds per game.
But winless Cp0 has a greater multiplier and would probably have won with this same team grin

Curry has his flaws, but his legacy is set, he has earned a free pass for the rest of his career in my biased eyes.

Banter is allowed, but outright disrespect to the legacy of LeBron, KD, Kawhi and steph is not welcomed.
The same logic that did not give FMVP to Anthony Davis was used to dash Iguodala a FMVP he did not deserve in ten life times. But because the other player did not grow up in the slums and play basketball to buy a house for his mum or take his family out of the hood, he is not a leader.

Lebron faced a warriors team with an injured Curry, injured Bogut, injured Iguodala and (Suspended Draymond from the game 5 that would have ended the series).Kawhi faced an injured Klay and KD. Lebron faced an injured Dragic and Bam Adebayo. Injuries are part of the game.

We would still have this discussion. Lillard hasnt won anything, Curry is a 3 time champ.

When you bring up cp3 not having a ring, you are really highlighting the issue. Would Cp3, Klay and Durant win a ring? Most people would say yes. Can Curry win a ring on any of the teams Cp3 has been on? Most would say no. So ring has little to do with this.

Curry is a lights out shooter. He is a decent PG. CP3 is decent shooter. His playmaking skills will work in any era of basketball.
Curry won 67-15 and a ring with these players in 2014-15. Bring the Clippers teams as well as the Rockets team CP3 played on. We need receipts now.

19 Leandro Barbosa
40 Harrison Barnes
12 Andrew Bogut
30 Stephen Curry
31 Festus Ezeli C
23 Draymond Green

9 Andre Iguodala
1 Ognjen Kuzmić
10 David Lee PF
34 Shaun Livingston
20 James Michael McAdoo

5 Marreese Speights

Lol. But LeBron has; since you're the one that brought up LeBron. And everybody knows that Draymond Green has been the leader and playmaker of this GS team since they became a dynastic franchise. All Curry ever needed to do was score the basketball.
For e.g 2014/15 When DG was playmaking and leading the team.

The point is @steady986 obviously either doesn't quite understand the game or he's just been looking at the box score. cheesy grin. So you better go check the games out before making your argument. And well you mentioned holding them accountable. As as how? You mean hold grown men accountable, when they cannot help themselves but build bricks? Say something else, abeg. cheesy
I actually thought some of them watched those games. Curry was dropping dimes. In the Nets game alone, he probably would have had 20 assists. Because he is not pointing fingers and directing traffic does not mean he is not a leader or a point god. lol. Lionel Messi and Curry have similar leadership styles. They rather lead by doing their own role perfectly. Tim Duncan is the same way. Hakeem Olajuwon as well.

bro, but you know Kobe yelled at players all the time right? You have seen the Kobe-swaggy p video no? And that he yelled a lot more in the years the missed the playoffs, especially on rookies that seem lost half the time
He had retired by then so his head was clear and he realized his mistakes. Curry's form of leadership is by example so when he is not playing well you can see it in his body language. But that does not mean he is not a leader or that he does not make others around him much better. He just does not do it by forming activity like Pat Beverly. He is more like Tim Duncan or Kawhi.
