Team strategy and style of play is also a key factor, you don't expect a quality AM in an above average team who is the focal point of the team not to have high chance created than another one in a team that depends solely on team play without any focal point.

In reality, their is always a reason to discard any statistics being use to compare players. Many teams will prefer an attacking player that both score goals and assists.

assists in itself isn't an absolute statistic like goals scored or interceptions made.
chances created should be a better measure for attacking midfielders.
two attacking midfielders with comparable quality will more likely have varying assist output if one is behind Nistelrooy and the other is behind Eder.

So in other words he has KDB has 19 goal contribution this season with 1 open play goal all season. While Bruno 35 goals contribution. KDB assist most are even a testament of the system he plays in and how good his team mates are.

Stop behaving as if Bruno started dropping his astronomical numbers just this season. Right from his time at sporting his G/A numbers is what KDB wil ever dream of. Any of the players you mentioned, if you take away 2 of the top 3 players of their squad , the team will be average or below.

Maybe,by virtue of were you live,you might have access to deeper informations to the club and abrahamovic which i dont,but I will base my comments on what I read about him,........which is a man who wants to win in style.Ancelloti's second season football was a complete opposite of what his first season was and it reflected in our season results,with notable loses against the traditional top sides.A good performance without results won't get any manager sacked under abrahamovic, the major issue with manager getting sacked here and there is bad performance coupled with bad results.

For starters Beal is the No 1 scoring option on the team, John Wall was always injured, Beal was the primary scorer, primary ball handler on the team hence the stats you seeing. This season Westbrook is primarily the second scoring option on the team, but facilitates when he plays wait its just like comparing steph and Westbrook.
