To me I don’t see these clubs backing down cos of FIFA and UEFA threats, I believe their decisions have been made and they will stick with it.

This is purely a Sport Coup on FIFA and UEFA.

Why should Bayern settle for the £60M winner money when UEFA could have paid them as much as £300-500M. Is that not pure robbery? The clubs were being cheated and COVID19 difficulties made them take advantage to fight back. UEFA is a wicked organization. Diabolical and occultic if you ask me.

I told you that he wanted out. It was clear. Salihamidzic is not going to get fired for Hans and Hans cannot play 2nd fiddle to him. It was a power play and as soon as Joachim announced he was leaving, Hans had found extra cards to play. Sadly, Bayern could not bite. I know the issue looked simplistic but it was quite easy to read his body language.

The reaction of UEFA and the various FAs tells you they make a lot off these 'big clubs'...It's simple, call them to the negotiation table and present them an offer they can't reject else they risk becoming irrelevant...

Of course the issue is about money. I wonder why many don't get it. It is not about reforms. UEFA had been cheating the clubs big time. None of this ESL or even reformed UEFA CL will happen. UEFA will come to the negotiating table soon and offer the big clubs more % and all will be well.

You are making an excuse for Bayern (by extension Flick) with a courtesy that was devoid in your Guardiola analysis. I can literally bring up key injuries in his time in Bayern that could have changed tides. Whether Lewa was in or out is summarily immaterial. He did play against PSG last season without scoring. My point is, sometimes winning with a team that had just won all, is difficult.

Injuries are part of the game. The wingers this season were an improvement on what they had last season. They had essentially the same team with Leroy Sane, Marc Roca and Chupa Mouting as deputy striker.

If one is to go by some of the news media in germany, Flick is intentionally sabotaging things so he can leave. Personally, I feel like he keeps seeing both players as robbery but you can tell that Poch told his defenders to show them unto their weaker foot. Especially in the first leg, Sane could have had 2 goals if he would just use his damn right foot. Even Mahrez and Salah use their right foot when the defenders give them that. Sane (less so Coman) just let his team down over the 2 legs.

Sane's reluctance to use his right leg over both ties was significant. He played well today but he was clearly hesitant. There were no clear cut chances in this game compared to the first tie. Overall, PSG deserved to go through.

NBA refs need to learn how to ref games by watching their NCAA counterparts. That charge on Juzang would have been 2 free throws in the NBA.

I just wish referees will play less of a role in basketball games. I know UCLA is a cinderalla story and their coach is on point, but this game against Gonzaga is close partly because the referees are whistling friendlier to UCLA. I hope it is just me but that is what I can see.

I completely understand you and I know you try to be fair but the new wave started from 2010. That celtics team did not start the new wave. Nobody complained about it. They were not prohibitive favorites. Miami Heat of 2010 started this new wave. KD was recruited by the 67-15 Spurs as well. I wonder why people forget this. That was the same crop of Spurs that had gone back to back in 2012/13 and 2013/14. If KD had gone there they could have possibly won 3 titles on the trot.

He had gotten injured before the season began and only played the last 20 games after which many suggested he should have been ROTY but Ja Morant had played more games and deserved to win it. For context, SC and Harden were not ROTY but Dame was. Which of the 3 reached higher ceilings? NB: I know Dame was not drafted same year as them. Just showing how ROTY is not the ceiling.

In Lebron's defence, he has been unashamed with his superteaming and ring chasing. He did try to recruit Kawhi to join him and AD and he said that he does not care about people's opinions. The issue is the fan boys deny it and insult others while at it.

When I said you compared those players to AD, I was not implying you were saying they were greater but that you are putting them on the same footing. Here is how it works. Even if Porzingis was playing, Dallas are not expected to be top 2 seed in the west or win a chip. But if you replaced Porzingis with AD in Dallas, the expectations would be close to that. Do you see how it works now? That is why it made ZERO sense to compare AD being out to any of the players you mentioned. The bottom line being (and I have to reiterate it because english is a problem): If Lebron was this FAR and AWAY MVP of the league like they claimed, there should not have been a very palpable difference between AD being out to him playing. The keywords are FAR and AWAY and PALPABLE difference. That should be easy to understand, right?

Let me be sure I understand you. Are you comparing AD to Gobert, Murray, Middleton, Simmons, Porzingis in terms of greatness? If Lebron is this far and away MVP of the league should the LAL be completely out of winning a chip without their 2nd best player? Bear in mind that every pundit bar none maintained at the beginning of the season that the LAL had the best roster in basketball. So bringing in the 2nd best players in those teams that were never in the running to win any ring is a disingenuous argument. It is like asking what the Warriors will win should Draymond get hurt. Well, even with him being fit, this roster is not going to win anything. But a so-called MVP candidate who plays for a team many were certain will repeat should not be immediately written off without their next best player. Otherwise, it means the next best player is actually the most valuable player on that roster. Simple.

I know it was fantasy football that gave it to him. Bruno is a good player and the EPL Player of the year to me. I said so. I am not trying to mock him. Just using a hyperbole to show how stats can be misleading. Just like the assist for Dan James' goal against Newcastle and the assist for Pogba's goal against West Ham. The stats show Bruno had more influence on those games than the eye test.
