biansmi: Hi all,
I have been searching for a place where i can ask question about ur culture. I need some objective advises and tips.

I am a white lady, living in Europe. I met a Nigerian guy who i really like. He is from the youruba tribe. He is nice and treats me good. But some things make me doubt him. I have dated an Igbo before and he turned out to be a devil....was married...cheating and was also scamming people. So now i am a bit afraid to jump into a new relation with this guy. But i dont want my past experience to break us up.

So please give me advice. This are the facts about him....shoud i go or shoud i stay?
- he is hard working
- treat me good
- likes my family and friends
- we do things outside
- he says he loves me every day

I am afraid that in the future he ia gonna leave me for a woman from his own culture. How can i be sure he is not married back in Nigeria? How can i know that he has no kids there?

Take her out to some good site seeing areas and give her a soft treat. Not to spend like a foolooooooo trying to impress.

Try to find out how she has been trying o get things going, find out about her siblings and parents. The next day, try to find out what kind of food she loves and got to the market with her to get some food items and let her make meal and stay to try to help her. Make sure that everything within your environment were been kept in order and neat. Do not rush her. watch some kind of documentary films and educative programs. I've written a similar experience to post on nairaland recently but was afraid that people that knows me in nairaland will deduce from the story that i am the one. I just opened a new nairaland I.D to be anonymous. Poster, your own is moi-moi case compared to what am passing through. MARRYING MY WIFE IS THE GREATEST MISTAKE I MADE IN MY LIFE. 2hrs will not be able to finish narrating the first paragraph if am to narrate the hell am passing through. For instance, as am typing this now, since Jan 2nd 2014 I've not been talking with my wife, only good morning and me dropping money for family upkeep. She can keep the face-off till Jesus returns. Whats the problem? I was to take my relation who stays with my bedridden mother to village on 2nd as my younger siblings have traveled to village. Then on 1st I told my wife to prepare with the kids by 7am next morning being 2nd that i will drive them to go and stay with my mother as i drive with the relation to village for a 9.am scheduled village meeting and to come back same day. My village is barely an 1hour journey. I woke up early around 6am and tapped her to wake and start preparing but she shouted at me. Later by 8:20 she is still putting on towel to go and bath, then I told her am leaving to go and pick the relation as time is already against us, that she should then transport herself to go and stay with my mum. Our residence is not up to 10mins drive to my parents place. I then left to village, while in village I tried calling her and my mother but due to network limitation i couldn't get them. To my greatest surprise around 4pm while in village my mother was able to reach us on phone and told me that she didn't see my wife again and have not taken her lunch as she hardly moves around with her clutches due to her health challenges. I tried calling my wife again and network was telling me switched off repeatedly. I cut short everything in village and speed off back to town and met my mother stranded alone, I almost shed tears seeing her. Then back to my house, I met my wife watching cable tv, I asked her why she didn't go to my mother again, she asked me while I left her instead of exercising little more patience waiting for her to bath and by the way how do i expect her to take public transport with 2 kids? (not up to 10mins transport). Since then I cut off communication with her in anger as I can't beat her, I can't send her packing due to my religious family upbringing. In fact my mother now is telling me to forget about what she did, that it was just the devil at work. She is a core christian.

Am tired of typing, this is just a tip of the iceberg of the devil am living with as wife. May God punish the day i first set my eyes on this lady

Your wife only needs deliverance as there something behind her action. Can you take her to your for deliverance if you really want to keep your home since you already got kids with her. update: Thanks to every one that suggested that i should move on... but i have tried to and it isn't working. i haven't slept since she broke the news to me. i have enough reasons to give back my pound of flesh ...... because of this girl, i am not in good relationship with my family, my family accused me of carrying another family's responsibilities and neglecting mine. i sat down and took my time to evaluate the amount of money i expanded on the family and my babe, it ws over 900k.excluding eateries,gifts,recharge cards and so on. she sent me a text last nite and u cnt imagine, she asked me to check all my expenses on her and that she is willing to pay me twice the amount...This girl can never go scot free, never. A lady I was dating messed up because she saw an air force officer who get some money to throw around and she walked out on me. Jerrick: Anytime I think about the scenario, I laugh and just shake my head. It was Christmas week and I went visiting my Uncle who stays in Ibadan. On 23 December, my uncle gave me some documents to get them photocopied. It's a known fact and no news that my uncle is the very stingy type. When I asked those people in shop what the man was doing, they said he's a native doctor and that he collects money frm people whenever Christmas is near.

I could hardly swallow my saliva cos I was scared. I have never seen a native doctor except in films, let alone conversing with one. When he was close to the shop I was, I could clearly see he's got a horn with him. The horn is wielded with red and black cloth. I wanted to run at first but I saw a lady beside me, I noticed she wasn't as nervous or agitated like I was. This boosted my confidence and I decided to stay! . The native doc got to the shop I was and stopped...... Ghen ghen!!

Seriously, I was standing but 'dead' and buried in fear. I don't know maybe because of the supra canvas I wore or my nice outfit, he approached me. They've already told me the native doc approaches those he sees as rich people. Because if you see me that day ehn, u go confuse me with dangote's son #fact . So, he pointed the horn to me and said money. I initially wanted to rebuke him by calling Jesus but I never wanted to fall my own hands infront of the babe, I kept quiet and hoped for the 'worst' . I handed him 1 hundred naira. He collected it, looked at me and further pointed the ugly horn at me, he kept on saying money!

When I noticed he was going to touch me with his ugly horn, I moved back. I started to empty my pocket, swearing that the 1 hundred naira was all I had on me he danced and left... Phewww, that was close, I thought in my mind. Those I met in the shop laughed @ me that I was doing like a weakly! I too was laughing but my legs were shaking...... I left the shop and trekked home. I got home and never uttered any word to my uncle. He ignorantly asked, ''why were you that late?'' I said people were too many that we'all had to queue. A very stingy man he is

My brother, don't be surprised that money you gave to this man has tampered with your destiny.
All those money they are collecting from ignorant people, they use the people's destiny.
