Kelebabaj:So which did you end up getting and what has been your experience with it so far? |
Hello. I have been trying to make up my mind between snowsea or skyrun chest freezers because they are the ones within my price range at the moment. Please if you have used any of these products, what was your experience like? Did you enjoy using it? How long does it take to defrost without electricity supply and how fast does it take for it to freeze? |
LilX2:search other active and secure crypto platform to sell. Don't panic sell so you don't fall into the hands of scammers. |
maasoap:So it's not about the increase in salaries anymore but the payment platform, okay. They demanded and insisted on a payment platform yet almost all if not all lecturers have already enrolled into IPPIS. Ignorant Citizens with slave mentality who believe employees have no right to demand for anything at all from their employers. In good countries employers are afraid to treat their employees anymore because they know they will be held accountable for any mistreatment. Most Nigerians employers including the federal government hold employees at ransom with meager salaries and overwhelming workloads meant for at least two people but still expect no protest because they know how desperate people are for jobs so they threaten them with dismissal if they dare to try to fight their slavery. Fellow citizens in all their ignorance criticize them for attempting to break the barrier. |
maasoap:It all comes to salary issue alone you said? Your ignorance is not even surprising cause most Nigerians choose to be ignorance to those things that doesn't benefit them directly. And let's even agree that it only has to do with salaries alone don't they deserve it? People who have never entered a classroom as an educator will be talking rubbish about how lecturers are greedy wanting an increase in salaries and whatnot. Lecturers who will stand in front of students for at least an hour a day, mark and grade hundreds of scripts, supervise both postgraduate and undergraduate thesis, be a special adviser or hold a faculty or departmental position. That doesn't even include the stress of furthering their own education or writing papers which are a requirement for their promotion. Yet you say them asking for an increase in salaries or allowances for the extra work they do is greedy, while you forget the fact that your leaders are given millions of naira as an allowance for just sitting in a meeting in a room with AC even without saying a single word throughout the duration of the said meeting. This doesn't even include the other allowances they receive year. After this unfair and ignorant stand we still wonder why Nigeria is the way it is. Where you criticize people for daring to fight for their rights and the overall betterment of the educational sector. You support the same government officials whose children don't even school here in Nigeria. You all want lecturers to go to work and teach other people's children with a smile on their faces while their own children stay at home because they are unable to pay the children's fees. Lecturers should become slaves who despite overworking themselves have little to show for their hard work. "What do they need increase in salaries for? Those greedy lots". "They don't even pity Nigerian students". Such ignorant statements people keep uttering as the lecturers own children too aren't Nigerian students too. Someone even go further to say the lecturers children are school abroad that why. What an oppressive government with ignorant citizens. |
maasoap:First do you know why they went on strike? And do you think they enjoy going on strike and starving for the duration of that strike? Furthermore, you said they should apologize to students and parents, where do you think their own children are? Abroad? You should be pointing fingers at your government for their obvious disregard for the educational sector. |
Bifas1:The scary thing is that staying in your home isn't even safe anymore. The victim here was attacked in his house. |
Hello, my sister's laptop was attacked by a ransomware yesterday and all her files can't be accessed, is there a way to recover her important documents? |
Beremx:That's one way to file for a divorce if you ask me. Though she wasn't the one who threw him out not that he didn't deserve it by the way. If the roles were reversed would you have blamed the man for doing the same? |
Beremx:And him cheating on her in their home isn't a big insult? If the roles were reversed I bet you'll call the guy a SImp if he allowed his wife to keep staying at his house. Knowing you did wrong and begging for forgiveness isn't a weakness irrespective of gender. Seriously though it's all these unfair treatments from the society that gave rise to toxic feminism. |
This evening I came across a post and a sequel to it from someone elseabout how Nigerian men need to start standing up for and supporting each other. While I get and understood where they were coming from having read their stories I don't agree with that notion and I'll give my reasons for that later. As a lady I agree wholeheartedly that the society treat men especially harsh and unfair when it comes to allegation about physical and sexual assaults/harrasment, even if they were actually the ones in the receiving end of it. I feel women disgusted by women who accuse men falsely for physical or sexual assaults/harrasment and will never support them because not only will it be unfair to the man in question but she is also creating a more difficult situation for those women who are truly being assaulted or harassed physically and sexually. Saying men should start supporting their fellow men is not the right thing to say though, the right thing should be to stand up for what's fair and right irrespective of your gender. Speak up for those that are truly innocent or give them the benefit of a doubt. The fact that you are innocent doesn't mean every single man facing the same allegations is. Infact one of the reasons behind the society's harsh treatment on men is because a larger percentage of men who faced those allegations were indeed guilty when compared to the percentage of those who were innocent. This doesn't justify the harsh treatment though. A gender should never stand up for each other based on sentiments alone but should be sure they are in the right before making that stance. Blind support of some women for their fellow woman is the reason why lots of innocent men have been crucified by the society without hearing their own side of the story. Standing up for someone just because he or she is your sex is no right and will only make a bad society even worse, instead stand up for those who are right and innocent irrespective of gender, tribe, religion or account balance. Don't jump into conclusion based on one side of a story, make your findings then make your stance based on what is fair. That is the only way to build a fair society. |
ivolt:A lot of people in Nigeria go about writing and posting stuff about other people without knowing the legal ramifications of it. That's why a lot of you don't know that writing something like what Kemi did, puts her in the position of being sued for defamation i.e libel according to the law unless she can prove beyond reasonable doubt to the law that her statement was indeed the truth. There is freedom of speech but freedom after speech is not a guarantee. |
yorubadelta:First of all, these are all allegations as stated in the op, the husband's side is yet to surface but I believe the truth will always win. The issue of the payment being received by the husband for two years I believe was before the estrangement. According to her she later changed the account details which was probably another reason for the estrangement. Remember he allegedly took her mobile phone which contained her actual mobile number and access to her Youtube chanel, as well as her car, laptop as well as two kids (who might know the password to their mother's phone even if it was password). Before she came out, I went on youtube to check out some videos only to see no videos on the channel. A channel that used to have about 200 plus videos. It was later last week I heard her story. I believe we haven't heard the whole story since the man is yet to tell his side but irrespective of what his own side might be, allegedly taking their kids, her car, phone and laptop is too damning to overlook. I know the woman is always criticized when things like this happen just like when a lady said she went home only to realize her husband had absconded with their kids and how she could get help, instead of helping majority of the people were quick to accuse her of being a bad wife for her husband to do that. I have seen a lot of terrible husbands around to know the Youtubers accusations might be very very true. Bad wives and bad husbands sometimes do bad stuff to their spouses not because the other party did anything wrong but because they are bad people. I pray the truth reveals itself soon irrespective of the right or wrong party, if for none other than the fact that innocent kids are involved. |
yorubadelta:Nobody is really an angel cause nobody is perfect but irrespective of the ex's side, snatching her properties and deleting all her Youtube videos is a wicked act that makes him look guilty if he was the one really responsible. |
DrFunmisticGlow:Like seriously, it was all thanks to her videos that I got to understand a lot about sewing. Her videos are even more enlightening than most fashion schools. All her videos are filled with smiles that would tell you she loves giving tutorials. I guess sometimes bad things just happen to good people. |
dominique:I don't know his own side of the story but according to her, she never denied him access to the kids. Even if the lady was in the wrong, snatching and stealing her properties and destroying her means of livelihood is not just cowardly but cruel and disgusting. Why hire thugs to harass and snatch kids and properties from one unarmed woman? I hope everyone responsible would be brought to justice. |
Ademola Bilikis Erinle a Nigerian YouTuber has cried out for help from Nigerians as her ex husband Ademola Adeshina Lateef abducted their children in front of their school last week and deleted all her Youtube videos on her channel Bilikis Signatures. Her channel, Bilikis Signatures, a very popular Sewing YouTube channel which consists of DIY videos on cutting and sewing female clothes. She (Ademola Bilikis) is well liked because of her jovial and detailed tutorials and has about 300k subscribers. According to her, her ex husband who lives in Kuwait, accompanied by some of his family members including his parents enlisted the aid of thugs cornered her as she went to drop off her kids in school (Spring of Life School Lakowe). They allegedly took her phones, laptops as well as her car and hours later as she was still in a state of shock she received news that all her Youtube videos had been deleted which she said was her main source of income. Apparently the ex husband had been the one receiving the earnings from the channel for two years until she decided to put a stop to it when she realized he was only exploiting her. She posted this hours ago on her Facebook group Sewing Innovations and has cried out for help in some of the videos she uploaded. She also uploaded the photo of her ex-husband. The father of my kids(ADEMOLA ADESHINA LATEEF) abducted my children in front of there school (SPRING OF LIFE SCHOOL LAKOWE) HIS PHONE NUMBER (+96569698516) HIS MOTHER: 08068940585 HIS FATHER: 08035011528 Here is the link to her video https://www.instagram.com/tv/CKrkhGwA9OF/?igshid=vhn163vg98gw https://www./460326294315720/permalink/1399089520439388/ She wants the authority to help her get back her kids as well as her stolen stuff. omojesu202:Hahaha. It didn't escape my notice that you failed to answer any of my questions so you just want to keep dazzling in your ignorance. Be my guest dear. Have you ever been to a Mosque? Have you ever listened to a sermon? Perhaps you can share with us some of those verses that encourage terrorism. I mentioned some terrorists here but you failed to tell me if they were Muslims. Devin Patrick Kelley, Derek Chauvin (the officer who kneeled on Gorge Floyd) were they Muslims? Oh and don't forget Brenton Harrison Tarrant the man who killed and injured many Muslims during a Friday prayer in New Zealand...I guess he was also a muslim too right? The fact that you mentioned Jihad is hilarious cause I'm sure you have absolutely no idea what it means. Having a discussion like this with someone who obviously isn't well informed is a let down. It'll be like going around in circles. |
omojesu202:It's obvious you are ignorant but please next time refrain from displaying your level of ignorance. The fact that you can boldly state that a religion is sorry just because it isn't yours shows how intolerant you are. You are usually the first ones to judge people who use hijabs yet you don't want to be judged. If indeed Islam preach war I bet you you won't be alive to type this. If you think you are right start backing up your statement with Proofs. All terrorists are Muslims? Really? I never knew Hitler was. And I suppose the police man who killed George Floyd was an Imam right? What about Devin Patrick Kelley, the 26 year old man who served in the US Air Force that entered a church and opened fire on the congregation, he was a muslim following the preachings of the Qur'an too right? Maybe you have a different definition for terrorism and terrorists, perhaps a requirement that they must be muslim before they qualify as terrorists huh? This is the 21st century, I expect people's level of reasoning to be way past making quotes like 'Not all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are Muslims'. That's so lame. |
charlesucheh:You can't condemn all lecturers because of a few useless ones. I am a graduate from a Nigerian university so I know lecturers are very hard working and deserve more than what they are being paid. A single lecturer could take more than 5 courses across all levels as well as post graduates, they mark hundreds of scripts and record them. They Go for classes for at least 1 hour per lecturer and supervise at least 5 undergraduates every session. Try standing in front of a class of 100 plus and screaming your head off till you lose your voice for just a month and you'll know being a lecturer is one of the most difficult jobs out there. I can confidently say that even of those lecturers we consider as lazy is more hardworking than most of those comedians called law makers. If you don't know your right let those who do fight for it. |
teejet:Spoken like a true ignorant Nigerian. ASSU holding educational system to ransom? Are you sure you live in this country? Typical of people to speak about that which they know nothing about. Who is supposed to be sensitive, ASSU who are fighting for their rights as well as well as the rights of their students (even though most of the said students don't even know) or the so called government who has never care about the educational system and are always failing to honor previous agreements they signed because their children aren't studying in the country? |
Chiquitq:Understandable for wanting to make it legal before having another child but she should have discussed her misgivings with the husband. What if waiting for him to legalize it on his own time gives off a wrong info that she couldn't conceive anymore and the husband's family pressure him into marrying another wife? A lot of things could go wrong when you make decisions like that. And for the men who want to have lots of children without the means to cater for them, communication is also necessary, that's not saying the man must consent before she undergoes it but he should know. |
This question was posted on a facebook group and I was baffled by some of the response that was given. To me, maritally no woman has the right to undergo a family planning without first discussing with her husband just as a man doesn't have the right to do the same without discussing with the wife. Doing that would not only be inconsiderate but suspicious as well. Being married means you don't get to decide something that affects your spouse alone, unless you are ready to risk your marriage. That's why it's very important to discuss things like the number of children you'd like to have and the number of years you want between each before getting married. After all it's called Family Planning. What's your take on this? Do you think a spouse be it a wife or husband has a right to undergo family planning without discussing with the other party? |
Ladyhippolyta88:My point exactly. With the lockdown the cases keep rising this much without it....... Only God can deliver us. |
Rapmoney:I know and I will. |
Honestly, If not for our government being incapable of providing for it citizens the best cause of action would have been to extend the lockdown especially as the cases keep rising as much as it is presently. I pray we overcome this soon. Please always remember to take precautions, stay safe and pray. |
Only God can deliver the world from this pandemic. Imagine countries with the best medical facilities being so terribly dealth with by this virus. I don't even want to imagine Nigeria's situation becoming like that of Italy's. With our poor medical facilities and poorer medical supplies it would be worse than a nightmare. Pray, stay at home and take all the necessary precautions and I believe we will all see the end of this pandemic. #stayathome#staysafe |
Yankee101:Actually Ronaldo have out his hotel to be used as isolation center and volunteered to pay the doctors and nurses who work there, he donated millions and also took a pay cut. You guys Sha. When you hate someone you find it difficult to be objective. Everything in life is not Ronaldo vs Messi though if you want to look at it critically just few footballers have been as generous as Ronaldo in the act of giving. |
DModeCntStopMe:He gave out his hotels to be used as isolation centers and volunteered to pay all the doctors and nurses for their services, he donated millions and asked that part of his salary be used to pay others. What else do you want him to do? He should give out all his money all in the name of charity? If you were in his shoes would you be able to do half of what he did? Irrespective of whether you hate a person or not learn to be objective not sentimental. |
Kingscee:How much do you pay them? They have family who still need and depend on them and lots of patients who depend on them to survive and you expect them to approach patients who may likely have a highly contagious disease which has no cure without any protective gears or equipments they can use to treat them. If it was your dad or mom would you ask them to do such a foolish thing more so in a country like Nigeria that doesn't reward sacrifice? You have learn to carefully select your battles, run away from those you have no chance of winning. That's the case of covid 19 and poorly equiped medical practitioners. |
Nuel4:Whether USA or China the numbers being released are not true but you know what? It doesn't matter because irrespective of the numbers being released if Nigeria don't keep the country lockdown until they have this under control the number of deaths will surpass all other countries by far. If preventive measures had been taken it wouldn't have gotten to this stage but in a country where the government can't even trace all the returnees what hope do we have that when the virus explodes they would be able to handle it when even well developed countries can't? My only prayer is that God delivers us from this pandemic before it gets to the point where people have to choose between starving to death and contacting the virus. |
Nuel4:So you know the actual number of death in each country abi? The number of deaths in Italy is mostly those who died in the hospital and many more are dying at home and on the streets. Besides, these countries have a much more better medical care service than Nigeria so if Nigeria's number becomes as high as theirs, more than half the number of confirmed cases might die because of lack of treatment. I saw a video of a man being moved from one hospital to another in Lagos just to be tested while suffering from what seemed to be a severe case symptom without any luck. I'm sure even Italians are wishing they had taken the virus more seriously and lockdown the country before it got out of hand. Only those who had been a casualty would understand first hand and I pray we never go through that experience. |
