My baby is nine months old but I have already decided that he would not attend extra lessons when he starts school and no holliday lesson too. Children need break from school work.

Family / FIRST TIME MOTHERS; How Are U Coping? by AngelEbi(f): 5:15pm On Jul 04, 2014
During pregnancy, I was excited about the prospect of having my baby. I shopped with reckless abandon and spent my days day dreaming about my baby. Fast forward to post delivery and I feel swamped.
I haven't had up to four hours sleep at a stretch since I gave birth. There is either the baby to attend to or house chores to do. My saving grace is my husband who has taken it upon himself to make this job easier.

First time mothers in the house, how are you coping? Are you as swamped as I am? What measures are you using to reduce the stress?

Let's share our experiences so that other first time mothers and would be mothers can learn.

If not for the ring, some stubborn men would feel that you are just playing hard to get.

Let me add my own advice....

1. Steal DPs with style: Go ahead n steal DPs, its allowed bt its very tacky to use dem almost immediately. Wait @ least a week or two.
2. Its nt compulsory to reply BCs: u might think its a point of duty to reply BCs, maybe wit d annoyin 'k' or some other useless tidbit. Well, its nt. Most BCs are just for info or laughs.

I'll add more wen I remember.....

Education / Re: In Memory Of The Aluu Four Boys by AngelEbi(f): 8:08pm On Oct 05, 2013
I understand why they were labelled as thieves. During my uniport days, Aluu committee was known as a 'theif zone'. I knw this because I lived there. Bt wat I dnt understand is, why d taste for blood? Why didn't u just hand dem over to d police? What called for d jungle justice? To be best of my knowledge, d thieves neva killed anybody, at least nt wen I ws in sch. I wouldn't wish such brutal death to the worst of my enemies.

Family / Re: How Passionate Are You About Your Wedding Ring? by AngelEbi(f): 4:07pm On Mar 26, 2013
cryI nt a great fan of Jewellery in general and rings in particular bt I'm seriously shopping for a ring for my wedding dat comes up in two months cos if I must wear a ring, it has to be one dat I greatly admire.

I'd wanted to just get any ring, get married wit it n forget it d next day until a woman came to my office and asked me if I was up to 20yrs (WTF!). So until I develop a 'matured face', I'll continue wearing my wedding ring

Oahray: ha! Don't turn tables jor. You cited it as an example and I simple tagged along. I got your point the first time, but the ring thing you mentioned was a poor example of an 'us' decision. tongue
See, I'm nt saying he shuld come right out n say 'hey sweetie, wat kind of ring do u want?' Bt he shuldknw wat I like. Before I get a gift for hm, I make sure its sometin he's goin to appreciate. Nw dats wat I'm saying, is dat too much?
Moreover, I hate one stud rings, kill me for it if u like. I'll rather wear a plain band.

Oahray: lol... I know your type and how to handle them. Two captains cannot be on my ship sha. If she makes the number of studs on an engagement ring a big deal, I'd buy a nice single stud ring on purpose and watch her reject it. smiley
Which one be captain n ship again? Why are u making a big deal abt d ring stuff seeing its only an example? My point is, in a relationship, u dnt take decisions witout consulting ur partner especially if its an 'us' decision
