Fair enough - but that's the essence of the building. I am confident this team will continue to improve to match or surpass whoever they face.
That's my utmost desire and prayer...!

It's been way too long since Super Eagles were a team worth watching.

Put a decent midfield into that set-up, and they will genuinely rule Africa for a while.

LoL it'll get boring for Pep after the next 2 or 3 seasons if theres no challenge.
It's already boring...!

Even when Man City is not really in form, Dem still dey rumple teams upandan for England.

The man go be like, can't anybody just truly step up?!! grin

He even gave his student leeway to collect it from him last season, yet the idiot and his team still bottled it.
Sports › Re: Arteta Informs Entourage He Will Leave Arsenal This Season by Angelfrost(m): 10:43am On Jan 29, 2024
That's the smart thing to do... Leave while the ovation is still loud.

Besides, he has gone as far as he can with Gunners... I don't see them improving beyond this under him.

Such a pity he missed out on the title last season... That might be the closest they will ever come to winning it in a very long while... Except by a miracle, City and Liverpool decide to hand it to them this season. tongue

Fergie001, Kyase, Ray07, Xynerise, Prinsam, Sylve11, dfrost... How far?!! When is your coach announcing his own departure?!! grin

I've been waiting for you to come and admit that you indeed enjoyed the "building" smiley
But, I already did in that thread... I expressed my delight at the improvements.

The Cameroon is the first time these players have truly played well in this competition.

7yrs...but they sent a pastor to life for same crime ....
The 7 years is for financial inducement...!

They will likely sweep the rape allegations under the rug, or the lawyers will be unable to fully prove it especially without evidence.

The respect I have for him has vanished because of his wayward forming and careless talk. Doesn't he check his page to see that we're complaining?
In a country of over 200 Million people, how can it be that Amokachi was the best they could pick for commentary?!

Why must politics enter everything?!!

They couldn't find fluent and intelligent sports journalists and presenters to use.
Business › Re: Economy: Nigerians Look Up To 10 Companies In 2024 by Angelfrost(m): 5:26pm On Jan 28, 2024
Good to know.

I wish them all massive success.

However, in the absence of committed and decisive leadership at national and state levels to improve Security, Electricity supply, Anti-Corruption, and Infrastructure, there will be no improvement.

While these corporate organizations strive to succeed in Nigeria, government must be ready to make the nation safe and business-friendly.

The idiots know the risks of getting caught, and the dangers to their health if the stuff leaches into their systems.

Yet, they continue to venture into this nonsense.

All they think of is the financial gain at the point of success.
Politics › Re: Richard Adeoriokin Shot Dead By Security Bidding Him Goodbye In Osun by Angelfrost(m): 3:33pm On Jan 28, 2024
There is a reason I don't like being around even our policemen.

I always have this belief that most Nigerians whether security, military, police or civilians don't fully have the knowledge of handling firearms.

When you see these so called security men and vigilantes wielding guns, you best believe they were not properly tutored on how to safely handle those weapons at all times.

In your best interest, give them a wide berth.

This is not the solution, it will rather lead to a bigger problem.
Jail those directly involved or sponsoring the attacks(Government knows them)
Introduce better policing
Allow each state to defend itself
And you see the killings drastically reduced
We have been saying these since 2015... What has come of it?!!

Is it when your own family is touched that you will realize why people are making such calls?!

If not that Nigerians are docile and cowardly, a bloody revolution would have taken over this nation since.

Legalising of gun is good but not in a country like Nigeria where hardship, poverty and anger rate is very high.

And Nigerians are proud too. Dem never legalise gun and "do u know who I am" full everywhere. If them legalise gun for Nigeria, instead of "do you know who I am", na gun shot you go hear.
Guy, forget all this talk.

Secure the citizens or legalize guns, let the unprotected citizens stand a chance against those that think people's lives are in their hands.

Let me tell you... Nigerian citizens are just cowardly and weird.

In most nations, if a quarter of what has been happening in Nigeria happens there, within a week, the nation will burn.

That's why your leaders can afford to be so relaxed and keep messing around while citizens die like flies.

Bad idea
Yeah it is... But, it is better than defenseless people being slaughtered like goats.

In the failure to secure your nation, you allow people defend themselves.

We've been calling for better state and national security for years now, and it has continued to fall on deaf ears.

If things don't change, the revolution will be bloody!!!

You can't just assume Nigerians will keep swallowing this nonsense forever.

Immoral Haircuts...!

I honestly don't even know what that means, but issokay. grin

The fact that you people are more concerned about policing the way people live their lives than permanently eradicating terrorism and corruption underscores why that region will remain a bane to Nigeria's advancement.
