Why is it that we expect anything good to be done by govt? What is our own contribution if govt is to do all things?
What exactly did the govt of Egypt do to get people to visit their country? Na govt dey market the tour package? Why would foreigners visit when we badmouth our country? Even the South African and Kenya, people run the safari. Not govt.
Whose job is it to ensure there is round the clock national security of lives and properties?!!

Can businesses and tourism thrive in the midst of kidnapping and terrorism?!!

When was the last time you enjoyed constant and even uninterrupted power supply?!!

Are these the jobs of private individuals and corporations?!!

FYI, Nigerians don't badmouth their nation like many nations that are tourists attractions.

Is it the badmouthing that kept your elected leaders from doing their jobs?!! Is that what made them loot and embezzle public funds?!!

You can badmouth all you want, yet tourists will come if there are things worth seeing and if their lives are secure.

Abi, will speaking solely good about the nation keep tourists safe and sound?!! Will the good words alone ensure steady power supply.

Will there be badmouth and criticisms if the nation is on the fast track to growth and development in all sectors?!!

See... Some Nigerians no dey try in painting this nation bad, but let's not hide the fact that the nation is being destroyed daily by poor leadership.

If he is innocent, and you have prayed for God to vindicate him, then what exactly is this publicity for?!!

You all shouldn't be out there saying this except you have clear proof that he is being framed.

We all should be very careful with the way we exalt clergymen... They are not God or gods, neither are they infallible.

Golden Mercury, KSA deserves more from Ayral!

Someone talk about GenZ being so rude! Well it's not about the generation, it's about the home someone comes from.

We have those who're not GenZ and are still rude
It's highly common with Gen Z... Let's not downplay it.

It's almost like follow come sef.

She messed up. KSA even bowed for her in courtesy but she just stood upright and stretched her hand towards him like she was some Queen of England in utter disrespect of the legendary musician.

Meanwhile Wizkid went on full prostration for KSA when they met. That's someone who acknowledges the importance of respect to legends African style.

Many people here who cannot even attempt to stretch their hand to greet their grandfather at home will be supporting Ayra's disrespect towards a legendary grandfather KSA.
Very disrespectful and dumb set of people.

In their mind they are being very woke and exposed... Yet, they have nothing upstairs.

Nothing is more effective and stringent non-contact...the state of health was just bad.
Nope... You don't know some kids fall sick after being flogged by teachers?!! Some even get scarred for life.

With all the flogging and harsh discipline, look at the average Nigerian youths... Take a good look.

Are they morally upstanding?!! Are they intellectually advanced?!! Are they sexually more responsible?!! Are they more loving and caring towards their fellow citizens?!

The approach has to change.

I'm not saying corporal punishment should go away totally... It should be kept at the barest minimum, and should even be an extremely last resort.

Kids are not animals... Treating them like one will make them act as such, especially towards others.

Some even grow up thinking violence is the best approach to correction and instilling discipline.

Corporal punishment is not necessary in schools
I won't say 'not necessary', rather no longer effective these days.

Times have changed, Africans need to elevate their thinking with approach to discipline.
Education › Re: Teacher Flogs David Babadipo, Lagos Pupil, To Death by Angelfrost(m): 11:22am On Jan 27, 2024
Sigh... That teacher should be convicted and jailed for Manslaughter.

If your teaching job is frustrating and depressing your life, why not just resign and move to another profession?! You don't need to take out your life frustrations on kids.

The era of unnecessary and constant flogging ended a while ago... You guys need to keep up with the times.

There are more effective and stringent non-contact ways to approach discipline these days... Schools and teachers should know better.

Chukwueze has not been able to replicate his club form in the national team. Kelechi should play behind Osimhen, because he uses both legs with equual dexterity.
The idiot should just learn to pass the ball faster in the final third!

He should learn to quit putting his personal glory ahead of his team.

He should learn from Mane, Messi, Jeremy Doku, etc.

Even Morocco and Senegal won't put more than 2 past Nigeria, and it will take them a really hard time to do it.

Super Eagles defense is great... Their problem is just poor midfield link up.

Dude, if there was no pk, and that own goal Nigeria for no qualify at all. Nigeria have been playing rúbbish since this tournament Started. No reasonable football so far from the Nigerian team. Don't tell me you're expecting them to win the cup?

Dude Cameroon go settle down today play Nigeria what we call football. If care is not taken they go flog Nigeria
Nah... Nigeria is winning this one. Hands down!

The only two threats against Nigeria are Morocco and Senegal.

He needs to join a club where they can rely on him as their standing 9... Madrid won't respect him that much, ask Hazard....

I advise him to go be the next Didier of Chelsea....
Chelsea will likely never get another Mourinho or Drogba... At least not anytime soon.

The No. 9 curse will likely follow Osimhen there.

If Mbappe leaves, he should take up PSG instead.
Sports › Re: Napoli confirms Osimhen to join Madrid, PSG or an EPL club at the end of season by Angelfrost(m): 8:28pm On Jan 26, 2024
Real Madrid is not interested... In the absence of Mbappe, they will make do with Haaland.

Even PSG will only take him as a last resort.

That leaves Chelsea (United won't cough out any outrageous amount for an African striker).

That's plain old genetic mutation right there.

So, if a mutation occurs in a human, and a deformed child looking like a Primate or Dog is birthed, it means the mother was impregnated by an animal?!!

What kinda dumb reasoning is that.

Nigerian professors are not adding any value to the nation.

The ones at the medical field, ordinary vaccine for malaria, they can't produce yet they're the loudest.

The ones at Mechanical engineering can't even change their car oil without the help of a roadside mechanic.

Na only to sell textbooks, speak big big grammar and rig elections for politicians dem sabi. Nonsense!
How much value is Nigeria adding to them?!!

Compare the state of learning and research abroad with your country first.

Do you know what research costs?!! Do you know how many millions of Dollars some single research gulp yearly?!!

Do you think it's lecturers abroad that cough up the money used for their successful and even failed research?!!

How much is yearly allocation to Education in Nigeria?!!

You claim they are useless, but graduates they trained go on to excel in so many fields within Nigeria and abroad... A lot of these lecturers Japa and get high positions in schools abroad.

Just come out and talk the personal beef you get with lecturers instead of making misguided utterances.

After so many years battling against them with their closest rival (only true rival tbh), it would be interesting to see him take over at Bayern.

I like Klopp's style... Leave while the ovation is still ringing loud.

Don't wait till your ideas run out, things start declining, and you get booted out.

He has attained legendary status with Liverpool by doing the impossible with them... He has laid a solid foundation at Anfield.

I pray he crowns his departure with the EPL title.

He should go and help Man United or Chelsea, maybe his home Country (national team). cool
