SE is trying. Anambra is in the top 5.
Southeast governors need to sit up and do better... They are a key part of the problems emanating from that region. Especially states like Imo and Abia.

As for the South-South... Those ones need serious DELIVERANCE! All Delta state ex-governors need to be tied and flogged in the central market square in Warri or Asaba. Spits! undecided

All past governors since Donald Duke in Cross River should be hanged! Every last one of them... The idiot calling himself a Prof should be tortured, and flogged, before being hanged.
Politics › Re: Only Lagos, Kaduna Generate Revenue To Cover Operating Costs — BudgIT by Angelfrost(m): 11:25am On Oct 18, 2023
Special recognition for Kaduna... They don't have the undue advantage Lagos has.

Every state governor needs to sit up, especially the acclaimed mineral and oil-rich states in the South.

The first step is to find a way to link up most states to the global world of trading, investments, and maritime affairs... Open more ports in other states, and start shifting industries away from the Center of Excellence.

Of course, it goes without saying that insecurity and road maintenance/rehabilitation have to be looked into, as a matter of emergency... There are states being held back by insecurity, especially in the North and the Southeast. This means State Policing needs to kick off fast.

Finally... Some states need to be merged back to where they were formed... I will refrain from mentioning names before their idiot citizens come for my neck. tongue

This country Sha. APC has totally redefined governance to a new low everyday we wake up.

Everything they stood against Gej is exactly what they are doing now
Honestly... They are doing far worse things than what they heavily criticized GEJ for.

Their followers now defend worse things than what they criticized during Jonathan's tenure.

Every time I listen to APC supporters on Nairaland, I just laugh... The irony is seriously amusing yet pathetic.

Even if he stays and governs from Ibadan till his tenure finishes, nothing opposition can do than to just talk and talk.
Yeah... So, is that supposed to be a good or normal thing?!

Does it make sense in a democracy for those in power to do whatever they please without checks?! Is that how democracy is supposed to function?!
Politics › Re: Why Governor Akeredolu Is Working From Ibadan – Ondo Government by Angelfrost(m): 7:51am On Oct 18, 2023
How you guys wake up everyday to boldly and proudly defend the indefensible beggars belief...!

I understand an average politician, world over, has the inevitable tendency to lie now and again... But, Nigerian politicians (especially APC) take lying to a whole new shocking and despicable level.

Just look at how an educated man has been reduced to telling childish, silly, and shameful lies.

Which Burden? 😏😒

An Individual can function With Burden!🤨

APC is a CANCER to Nigeria and Nigerians! 🙁😕

Cancer Kills but Burden does NOT!

See how Rituals YAHOO, Hookup, Petty Stealings, etc Shot up since APC took over in 2015!
APC is KILLING Nigeria gradually! 😒😟
Honestly, I don't get how a normal human being that claims to have a conscience be associated with APC.

It's just not normal.
Politics › Re: Concerns As Refuse Takes Over Lagos-Abeokuta Highway by Angelfrost(m): 7:42am On Oct 18, 2023
Forget... Most Nigerians are dirty and filthy as fvck.

I used to think it was a leadership failure but I have since realized it isn't.

I have seen government officials create proper sanitary waste disposal systems, only for residents to leave the refuse containers or sites, and fling trash anywhere else... Some will even dump the refuse on the ground, right beside the empty refuse or waste bins.

When I visited Owerri and Umuahia, I wondered if it's the same God that created their citizens and those in Uyo (Akwa-Ibom)... Smh!

Sigh... Here is my question...

Why can't these G-whatever factory abi faction of PDP and Apapa-led faction of LP just come out and openly join APC?!!

What's with this nonsense?!! They were clearly well paid to cause or create crisis in their parties and weaken them.

Since their missions have been successfully accomplished, they should be fully incorporated back into their paymaster's party.

Honestly it's very sad, I would love to go into freelancing but people are hiding all valuable info.

If you know any good online place I can learn Virtual assistant or data entry please direct me. Thank you.
Data Entry is not difficult... Some people actually learn and master it on the job. You can also take free courses online (like on alison.com)

Virtual Assistant refers to a range of work which can often include Data entry... While some clients on Upwork and Freelancer might require some proof of experience, others don't... They just need your eagerness to work and learn as well a great work ethic.

What you need is the ability to attract these gigs both part-time and full-time... This can be taught by a mentor or by professionals who will also add you to online communities where you can learn from others and get jobs too.

One of such communities is Digital Witch... Look them up on Facebook, join and follow them. They organize monthly trainings for a token (I think between 18,000 and 25,000).

Good luck pursuing your dreams. Online work is real and achievable. It's also fun as well.

So you kneel down, waste time and talk to an invisible being about the weather?
Dude schizophrenia isn't far from you
It's a waste of time to talk to an Invisible being with your own personal time, but it is productive to do the following:

1. Surf the internet searching aimlessly for trivia.
2. Daydream for an hour or more.
3. Come on Nairaland and other social media platforms to bandy words and argue about next to nothing for at least an hour a day.
4. To chase girls and party for hours on end.
5. Gossip and watch tv shows and movies for at least an hour a day.

See ehn... The problem with some people who claim to be irreligious or atheist is that they are as intolerant, judgemental, and even hypocritical as those on the opposite end of their beliefs spectrum.

Las las, everyone will do what pleases or catches his or her fancy. That's called living and letting others live.

Any further questions?!! cool

What happened to calling him privately to reprimand and counsel him first??!... I have seen Filipinos and other nationalities doing that for Nigerians rather than ratting them out.

What do most Nigerians gain from being perpetual stumbling blocks to their fellow citizens at home and abroad??! It borders on witchcraft.

There's nothing like Nigerians. We just use that name to deceive ourselves. People are more comfortable relating with those who come from their tribes because we aren't oriented to love one another in this country beyond our tribes.

We see how tribalism plays out during elections and on Nairaland too. That's why nothing shocks me about Nigeria anymore. The earlier we realise that Nigeria is a sham, the better for us.
As in... Most Nigerians are the most disunited, bigoted, clannish, and wicked set of souls Heaven ever spewed out.

That's why I continue to advocate for the scrapping of NYSC... We need to quit deceiving ourselves about some phantom and delusional non-existent unity.

Nigerians should be of help to themselves abroad and not enemies to themselves. Abeg I dey beg here. Don’t let village people rejoice over us oooo
I honestly don't get why most Nigerians abroad hate or despise their fellow countrymen...!

Nigerians happen to be the major set of people based abroad who are against their fellow countrymen joining them abroad... Asians, Middle Easterners, and Indians will not only counsel their people to come but also spend money and effort to make it easy for them to join them, and go the extra mile to help them settle in quickly.

It's in Freelancing I saw a lot of Nigerians hiding secrets of succeeding online from their fellow Nigerians while Asians and Indians literally pulled their people in droves into it.

Most Nigerians are a weird and wicked breed of Homo Sapiens. Tueh!!!

No, I can‘t try that even in a dreamland. For what na? In fact, you‘re just saying that.
I am not joking, Boss...! I have done it severally.

Place Eba with vegetable or Ogbono soup (garnished with fish and meat) side by side with Fried rice and assorted proteins, I will pick the former every time.

I want cha to know that HAMAS is a tiny group and represent 0.000% of the Palestinians. As such, do not look at the whole Palestinians view of what HAMAS is doing. The issue is let the Israelis and Palestinians agree to stay side by side as two independent States
How about you and your ilk clearly explain to us what Palestine and Palestinians have done to curb the activities of Hamas in Gaza and the West Bank...!

It irritates me how you all keep quiet (even laud Hamas) when Israel suffers from these acts of terrorism but starts crying wolf when Israel takes action.

If you accommodate terrorists, then you are an enabler and a terrorist by association... This is exactly the issue here in Northern and Eastern Nigeria... The people accommodate and secretly support those insurgents but cry foul when the military goes full onslaught.

😂😂.

My love for swallow knows no equal in this life. Every single one but wheat. That shit tastes darn awkward in me palates. And I eat just about any soups, with special recognition given to Okra and Afang soups.

I can go an entire year without tasting rice, even by accident. I'll rather eat noodles continuously for a week before I swallow a spoon of rice.
Rice just gets boring after the first 2 or 3 spoons, no matter how well prepared it is.

But a whole year?!! Haaa... Not when you're married like us. grin

My favorite soup remains Efo riro best escorted home with the Legendary Pounded yam (not Poundo please) or FuFu.

I have only eaten Afang once or twice when I visited Uyo years back... Awesome experience. The woman did an excellent job of it.

See those ones up there arguing and turning the matter to an ethnic issue. Primitives.

Meanwhile the day I went there to meet someone, I was shocked at how filthy the entire environment was. Even breathing the air in that market is a risk because of the nature of dirt floating around.

I must commend the state government and sincerely hope the lock the place for an even longer period if they go back to their disgusting and dirty ways
Those ones up there are mentally incapable of reasoning beyond their dirty homes and streets... Don't mind them.

I followed my wife to the market last month, and the filth was shocking and saddening... At the Chicken slaughter house, I literally couldn't breathe.

What I couldn't understand was how normal human beings allowed refuse and filth pile up around them to that alarming point.

Forget... Most Nigerians are abnormally dirty! Damn!!!

A normal human being will empty trash into a drainage or by the side of a major road?!! Nah.
