Team June bawoni, how all day sickness a.k.a morning sickness(no b only morning e dey do person) as for me the thing hold me reach mouth, it not easy but may God make it easy for us. To d senior mamas hope is OK to sleep on my Tommy cos I usually find myself on my tommy, sleeping on d leftside is not working for me. Pls help a ftm, don't wanna hurt my princess. Hoping for a girl so baby will b refer to as she(cover face)

Sooner or later you won't find it easy sleeping on your tummy. So try get used to sleeping by your sides. Sorry about the all-day sickness

About the tatanus matter,

I chatted a doctor and he said there is no limitations to it and i can take it but also said i should ask my doctor.

I will give us a report after i have made enquiries next week by his grace since i also use general Hospital.

So i started antenatal today and doctor said "Have you taken your Tatanus injection? Told him its for next week but am wondering if it's not too early.

Doctor said there's nothing like that, i should take it. So I guess people saying it must be 4 months and above are missing something.
Above all, always comfirm with your doctor

I had same issue when I used colgate. Switched to punch and Judy and we've been good. The flouride in adult toothpaste is too much for a kid.

I thought i was the only one who has issues with colgate. I was cool with colgate 0-2 Years but then after we switched to colgate 2-5, my son had bad breath even with brushing twice a day. I switched to maclean 1- 6 and its been good so far.

My question is....do I need to take Tt injection again? I have taken the complete 3 dose b4 now, someone said now that I'm pregnant I need to still take it, how true is this pls...

First, the complete dose for tatanus is not 3 but 5.
2) I also heard even after completing the 5 doses, you still need a boaster dose in each pregnancy after that

Also, you can ask your doctor for more clarification

I'm doing fine, on malaria treatment a.t.m tho but all is well, my bump is as big as a 6 months old bump but I'm waddling sweetly, still clueless in some areas but I will ask my question here for clarification.

8weeks is still nothing to worry about too, not all babies will be chubby except the doctor complain about her losing or not gaining weight, concentrate on feeding her well maybe at more regular intervals and ensure she's healthy too. There are lots of things you will need your energy to worry about ~~_{e.g teething}~~

Meanwhile, sometimes its hard for mummies to really know their baby is adding weight except babies that are really fat. I used to be like that then. It seemed to me like my baby wasn't gaining weight because my neighbour had a fat baby. Now looking back at all his baby pictures on my phone, i kept wondering if i was seeing well because he wasn't that small as i thought.

She takes both BM and Formula( Nan1), I need suggestions on another formula that can make her gain weight, it seems Nan isn’t doing what I want.

You are concerned and want a chubby baby at 5 weeks? Why not wait for her 6 weeks appointment and allow doctor complain of her weight first.
Madam don't put pressure on yourself, baby still have time to gain weight. Just feed her well, an healthy baby is all that matters. kiss

I was told at antenatal to start cleaning henceforth with soap and then rub vaseline after cleaning. The essence of rubbing vaseline is to enable easy cleaning the next time you want to clean( next morning or evening as the case maybe). And to always pull the nipple out so it doesn't go flat when its time to breast feed. Am 8weeks and some days.

Don't try this madam, odikwa risky o. Hope you know stimulating the nipple is one of the way to induce contraction. Stop it please for now till you are almost due. Most medical practitioner suggest from 36 weeks.

Great! I once used an hospital temporarily during my first pregnancy, blood group wasn't part of the test they do before commencing antenatal. I even asked why its not included but they said no need yet they do pcv every visit undecided

. Thank God i already knew am negative then. I carried myself from there as fast as i could. Imagine if I wasn't enlightened sad

Or is there a side effect if blood is much.

I doubt if a midwife will demand all these nessesary test. Please do the essential ones especially pvc.

Maam's abeg help me put mouth, what normally makes someone body shake sometimes if you don't eat on time during pregnancy. I don't always feel hungry but after eating the shaking will stop. Did anyone experience the same?

I think its a common thing with pregnancy and hunger

Glory to God for the privilege to be alive first and to be a mother and soon to be mums. Thank you for giving us good health, for the journey so far and for the development of the babies in our womb.

We pray that our joy will not be cut short in Jesus name and our babies are for signs and wonders in the land of the living. Amen.
