I'm team may and I'm already showing, infact I had to start looking for maxi dresses that can cover my stomach and navel cos I think it's too early to start showing, no serious morning sickness yet just hunger. Who else is in my shoe

We are in this shoe together o... Even some people already noticed at work. Just this evening I was telling my husband i need to get more big tops that can hide the tommy a bit before people start thinking i have been pregnant for 2 years by May.

No serious morning sickness too, just hunger pangs and my lips are black and dry _{Like an active smoker's lip} Vaseline lip balm came to the rescue

My 9mo cut his first tooth on his 9m bday last week and has just started refusing his cereals o, he prefers his breast milk and adult food. After force feeding him this morning, I decided to prepare very soft noodles with carrots and he finished it...
Pls I need ideas on other solids I can introduce, I tried pap(millet & guinea corn) one time but it took him too long to like it. I intend re-introducing it to him again with nan2 and any other solids idea I can get.

Please need some answers..... I am currently 5-6 weeks and I have been experiencing severe back pain. Can this be attributed to the pregnancy? Do I need to see the doc? Can this be jedijedi? Has anyone experienced it?

Its not jedijedi sis, its the pregnancy. My last pregnancy i also experienced this terrible low back ache that can last a minute or 2 at different intervals of the day especially during the early part of the pregnancy. But with this, i haven't experienced anything of such so i say "different pregnancy, different package" but if it bothers you much you can see your doctor. i see you are team May 2020 too

The doctor or nurse attending to you should have pointed out what to do or run test for protein in your urine, so please talk to your doctor. You are almost there, in the meantime, rest, rest and drink enough water

Then try packing regular cereal like cornflakes, cocopops, rice krispies etc. If you don't want to do Kellogg's, Infinity has a wide variety of cereals too for way cheaper (but also not as tasty as Kellogg's).

Why don't you give home made food a trial? He is almost 2years, he should be able to some kid's friendly food such as mashed beans with fish, pap with milk, amala or semo with draw soup, mashed potato with fish, boiled egg and so on.

My view tho

He eats food, rice indomie beans but like to pack it along side his food to sch for a change

Mamas biko, Apart from cerelac, which other cereal is cool for a 22 months old. I once tried golden more but he reacted to it, so am holding on on that till say 2years 6month again.

Plenty watery pap. You can get fenugreek seed for her, water..... enough water,...... Plenty water. The search for breast milk can be frustrating but it will surely come.

P.S. while waiting please don't starve baby, get her baby milk for her to feed. You can always stop and switch to your EBF when the milk start flowing.

FTM too dearie,but then essence was just running mild temperature in the evenings of 10-14 days after which we just saw 2 white teeths. No stooling till the teeths were out and she was active. However, that was at 4 months,2 weeks as against the 6 months we were told at the hospital. Lemme add that,we started using teething soap at 3 months if you are Yoruba. What it does is to lessen the discomfort that comes with teething. All the best dear. Make sure she sucks more too.

No vex say I put mouth for this matter o, its only your imagination and am sure your baby might still not show any discomfort if you don't use the soap. But am not sure soap is harmful after all, its for external use, even if it doesn't work

I think 3 weeks old is small for powder, but in case there is no option please be careful with it. Don't allow it enter his nostrils

Heard Moringa leaf and it's seed works well. Ensure you always check your BP while on it so you know when to stop so it doesn't get lower than expected. Also, Bitterleaf water as well as Zobo (without sugar) works too. Cucumber and Beet (you can get it from those hausas that sells fried rice ingredients)

I have a sister who had Pre-eclampsia that persisted after delivery, so these among others were what we got for her. Try it, you will be fine

Read back I guess one mama sells I can't remember the moniker now. Alternatively, if you check those hausa that sell spices you will get from them. Also, check big supermarket like spar or shoprite.
