DH insisted that I should register at government hospital also, so I did. I had my first scan with them yesterday but their result has been giving me worries that how can it be. The scan said I'm 30wks and with my private hospital I'm 33wks+ which is in line with my own calculations as my LMP is 24th April
They also wrote EFW is 1438g, though I never checked baby's weight with my private scans before but I will ask when I go for clinic now. Thinking maybe the weight is small or OK I don't know. Just worried as a FTM.
Please don't read and pass. Drs or nurses in the house should help me shook mouth and also experienced mamas

You can go and get a private scan done in a reputable diagnostic centre to ease your fear. Not sure it's a problem tho

Yes you can. Just be gentle cos he's still fragile but good for them. Stomach massage is good for babies

oh I thought I was the only one on this,exactly the discomfort they display is what is disturbing me I really...and I notice it’s becomes more if they don’t poo for like 2days especially my son. What can I give or do to make him poo easily?

Lie him down, Try and do that bicycle motion for him with his legs. He will possibly pass gas in the process and he will become comfortable. Worked well for my son back then, he usually pass out gas in less than 2 minutes of doing it and he's relieved

Mums please can any one recommend something for extreme darkening of the face and neck? Mine is really really extreme, I’m starting to feel embarrassed of my natural face. My neighbor asked me yesterday if I’m having any medical issues in my pregnancy, and I know she asked because of my face. The weight gain is enough, i don’t want to be dealing with this other issue again.

I doubt if there is anything you can do right now especially if it is pregnancy induced. Just embrace it as part of the package. It will be worth it at the end.

My EDD is May 21st

Ms decided to leave me alone just 2 weeks ago. Before then, it was terrible. I suffered extreme dizzeness and headache for 8weeks. Thank God it's over. The only thing I feel now is the weight of my tummy.

Teamie..... You have done the right thing by stopping heels. Maintain flat soles and sandals for now. Reduce salt, raise your feet when sitting or lying down and more importantly, I think you should also report to the doctor in your next appointment because on the long run swollen knee can be very uncomfortable as pregnancy progress.

Our able cappo, thanks for job well done. I'm fine, it's just this lazyness and bloating. I believe pregnant women should be hungry, for me, reverse is the case. Another thing, scan shows that my baby is sucking his finger, I just hope he wont come out sucking his fingers. My older child came out sucking on his lips.

Now this explains why you not always hungry na. Baby is busy sucking his fingers so not disturbing you for food. Just joking ooo, Babycenter app said at this stage, scan can catch your baby sucking his finger and also swallowing amionic fluid as they try to practice how to suck bobby when they are born (abi you no dey wonder how some baby suck brweest like a pro from birth? Na from belle dem learn am o,) so i don't think you should be worried.

On a lighter mood, if baby 1 came out sucking his lips and baby 2 eventually come out sucking his fingers, that means them take after their mama ooo [s]_{she must be a pro in sucking something} [/s] Which one you dey suck But what do I know sef, lemme come and be going

I am doing fine o, was placed on a drug after my last visit to the hospital cos of pain, going for check up later this week, biko is pain once in a while normal especially back pain.

Ehyah, sorry about the pain. Try and get plenty of rest. I do get low back pain once in a while. You can let the doctor know about the pain.
