Funny but Not funny grin

So my husband went to donate blood yesterday as part of the long process for antenatal registration as he fainted after the donation ( He also fainted after he donated for the last pregnancy). If you know how long he has been eating orisirisi food because he wants to donate a pint of blood and doesn't want history to repeat itself cheesy

( Note: His pcv is okay o but guyman no get any threadhold for pain)

So while relating the whole episode of how he was resuscitated to me when he came back from the hospital yesterday, i was like "You see women are really trying considering the blood women lose at delivery and other pregnancy stress, he couldn't even agree less however said God has fashioned women that way sad

(God bless all women biko. It is not a small thing)

Actually, my hand is always heavy and very painful after every tatanus shot i have taken. More reason y i want to get done with it

About the tatanus matter,

I chatted a doctor and he said there is no limitations to it and i can take it but also said i should ask my doctor.

I will give us a report after i have made enquiries next week by his grace since i also use general Hospital.

What I'm really bothered about is this pregnancy since I won't be taking any going by the schedule

Oh! Now I get your point. I don't know about that sha. Maybe she meant subsequently in every pregnancy after you have completed the schedule. You can still make further enquiries tho. But i think that one year gap between the 4th and 5th dose is a standard sha

The two hospital that uses for my Antenatal, tatanus injection was given at 12weeks to all pregnant woman.

I've taken mine using my HMO hospital

If your hospital gives at 12 weeks, i am not sure you have any reason to fear then. Since that how they give their own patients.

Mine told me I won't be needing it since my last shot is supposed to be in March, and I would have delivered then.
Meaning I won't be taking any in this pregnancy
Need the seek 2nd opinion then
Beginning to have a rethink about this hospital I'm using, their matter tire me.

I think you should get it even if you have delivered by then and just complete it. 2 out of the 4 shots i have taken was given to me after i have given birth so i dont think its an excuse

Yea you can take it. But my doctor told me that even if you complete all 5 shots, you would still need atleast 1shot in subsequent pregnancies. She said that's the new teaching.

Thanks. Taking @ least one shot in subsequent pregnancies still better for me than starting all over again cheesy

I have been loyal enough to take 4 out of the 5 doses, lemme just complete and take my mind off it.

I have a question mamas with experience, I am due for the last dose of the Tatanus Injection in 2 weeks. I am currently 14 weeks. Can I go ahead and take it since I will be 16weeks by then. I just want to take it and be done with this tatanus injection ish.

Ps: i haven't started antenatal, but will start soon if not i should have just asked the doctor. But if I don't get any info here, I will have to drag my lazy self to the hospital to make enquiries.

Present Cappo. Been offline cos I don't know what happened to my account. I've really been busy and stressed the past few days that I refused to take my folic acid cos it makes me feel sick, I hope there are no implications. I'd continue today though.

Sorry about the stress. Take it easy too. Oya continue with your folic acid biko, sometimes i skip it in between days but i try as much to take it mostly last thing at night

Thank you Lord for all Pregnant women because our joy will not be cut short, we thank you for those that have delivered their LO, we pray for strength quick recovery and protection for yge babies.
