Sophyrocks:She came with a gang and still got beaten up I would be pained ...lessons learnt! And OP said he loves his wife which shows she's a good woman and has been enduring MIL for God knows how long. He would be silly to let his family ruin his happiness by sending his wife out Honestly you and babyosisi has made my day with your contributions on this thread. |
allcomage:I'm sorry we do not share the same opinion on this but that doesn't give you the right to decide what kind of home I come from. We live in a country where MILs just enjoy mistreating their DILs without any concrete reasons and over the years ladies have learnt to develop a thick skin and be ready for things like that. I am not a pretender! If my inlaws don't love and respect me, they shouldn't expect the same from me. All I'd worry about is my husband and children. I'm not saying being violent or fighting your MIL solves the problem here but not every DIL has the patience to endure maltreatment for as long as it lasts. You have to be bold enough to stand up to a not-so-loving MIL if not they'd end up running and ruining your home. No sane woman enters a family and automatically becomes rude or rebellious to her MIL. As a matter of fact most women try hard to impress and win over their love even before the wedding, but if that doesn't work, you can't except her to keep ass-licking her MIL. If you didn't meet me as a pauper and you're not feeding my family, don't expect me to let you treat me like one. Now the pictures in question are that of her grandchildren born by the woman she is not in good terms with. The wife has every right to say No, I don't know how she said it but she has the right. And if MIL wasn't satisfied with the answer she would have called or waited for her son and ask him to make copies for her, not slapping the poor lady. I do not know how it got to the point of fighting, but I remember the op said the wife called him, probably asking him to come warn his mother. And the two other people who came to the house with her are not good people if they couldn't do anything to stop the fight. Showed they all had a motive |
Mother in-laws can be very wicked and controlling. As far as I'm concerned your wife can't be blamed at all, she must have been pushed too hard she couldn't take it any longer. What did your mother come to your house with her sister and friend to do? They came to start a fight! And they patiently waited for you to leave the house to initiate one. I'm glad your wife was strong enough to show them who the boss was If your wife didn't respect you or your mother, she wouldn't have called you before the fight escalated, my opinion. Mother in-laws should learn to stop sticking their noses where they don't belong, not every wife cares about tradition. If your mother cannot love and respect your wife after she's had two of her grandchildren, then she shouldn't expect same from her. She can't keep playing the perfect wife forever |
I don't think you should be dating someone you don't intend possibly getting married to, whether it works out or not. That said, you shouldn't be worried about your kids' height. If genetics smile on you, they'd be just about the right height My friend's parents are short, as in very SHORT...both of them. But my friend is lucky she's average in height and both her brothers are very tall. So you see, it doesn't always turn out bad |
Neplusultra:LOL! I doubt if he wanted to poison him. This kind of thief does not have the mind to do beyond petty stealing, hell he couldn't even return the ATM cards after using them. He probably wanted to clear his conscience by giving the guy a treat. |
voltron:What an achievement, you must be really proud of yourself! |
omicron:But these are the things the doctor would have tried explaining to them rather than dismiss their claim about being pregnant because they hadn't gone for a scan. That's just unfair and doesn't portray him to be a good doctor. If a urine or blood test showed the op's wife was pregnant, then she most definitely was. Besides most people don't go for a scan till after their first trimester |
anger, anger, anger!!! I so need to work on that. I have a pretty bad temper and it gets the best of me ![]() |
ceejay80s:Omo, I'll just die of high blood pressure |
coogar:Even the alarm systems can't be relied upon most times. I remember leaving a H$M store with my two shopping bags when the alarm went off But you should have seen my heart pounding the whole time, because even when I knew I paid for every item I bought, I just couldn't fathom why in the hell that alarm went off on me ![]() |
saintjoel:Thanks dear. But is this price for the brand new or tokunbo? |
The gofund page keeps loading endlessly |
Please can I know the price of Toyota Matrix 2006 and 2009 respectively, including custom duty. Thanks |
eyeview:Exactly what happened to me two Sundays ago. My cousin left for enugu by road after persuading me to no avail. By 2:30pm she was in enugu while we were still at the airport for a supposed 12:35pm flight. Suffice to say that I got home by 8pm that night. I was exhausted and hungry, way more than my cousin who came by road. But please stop entering small Hiace buses |
I'm sure this is particularly directed at especially Patience Jonathan and that tout of a governor. But they have no idea that the more they act like road side agberos, the more voted they lose |
The whole Chibok issue keeps getting more confusing by the day. I personally don't even know what to believe anymore |
pak:Exactly what I was about to say. The woman had no idea what was in the bag. It was only when she took it to the security that she knew. I doubt if she would have taken it back if she had known the content |
sunnyshayne:I do not understand your point and I think you're the one who needs to evaluate your brain to understand people's post first before attacking them. Yes I am Igbo but neither am I related to the guy nor do I support him. I only stated that he's one out of many fake drug dealers and NAFDAC is well aware of that but doing little or nothing to curtail it because of the bribes they collect. As far as I'm concerned, NAFDAC hasn't been on their A-game since Dora left seat. I do not care about the tribes involved, but anyone caught in such evil crime to jeopardise the lifes of the masses deserve capital punishment! |
Have you people noticed that a lot of people die these days from mere headaches, stomach cramps and other minor health related issues?? It's because many of these drug dealers market and distribute fake products across the country and NAFDAC is well aware of that and even have their own benefits. This Okereke guy has probably stopped fulfilling his own end of the bargain hence incurring NAFDAC's wrath The only time NAFDAC did a genuine work was when Dora was the DG, and they finally succeeded in getting her out of the way. |
His flight to Sokoto was delayed for long hours and eventually cancelled without any proper explanations from Arik management He had every damn right to go gaga!!! |
I was at the airport to book a flight ticket. Was chatting with the friendly airline staff who was attending to me. Don't know what exactly I said to piss him off and he stood up and left. Waited for him to no avail till I woke up. Meanwhile, as I waited for the young man to return, I got a call from a company I had been waiting for since, and the woman on the phone asked why I haven't resumed work with them. Ps: don't know if I had the dream because I'm supposed to travel 12:30pm today, but I thought to share to know if there's anything more to the dream. Thanks |
Was walking down a street and two grown men were following me. Suddenly they started grabbing my phone but I refused to yield. We struggled for a while but I overpowered them and took hold of my phone. There was a woman nearby selling fruits. I gave her my phone and wallet to hold for me, somehow a sword appeared in my hand and I used it to slice those two men in pieces before I woke up |
Our society need to be enlightened more and stop attributing everything to jazz and juju. PEN!S CAPTIVUS is a rare but not an abnormal occurence. And although there has been no detailed explanation as to what causes it, it's been around for over 100 years. The muscles of the woman’s pelvic floor contract rhythmically following a heavy orgasm that it clamps down on the pen!s, and the more you try to pull out the more painful it gets. If they had waited a few more minutes when the muscles had relaxed, he would have pulled out smoothly without issues Do your research |
Many Nigerians have lost their sense of humor |
So what he goes to a hospital in the UK for a routine check up? How big of a deal is that? Fayose will soon run mad ontop Buhari's matter. And since he has seen it spiritually that Buhari won't win, why is it still giving him so much sleepless nights?? |
bebe2:Nne, leave this ur grammer for a better thing. If you have encountered these people before ehn, you'd know they're heartless and deserve no mercy when caught |
chengfu:Go ahead and upload your passport from your phone. Clicking "next" saves it automatically, no need saving page in pdf format. You can print test slip anytime from a cafe and still have your passport appear on it |
A lot of people look really bad in close up shots like this one. Explains why we all take 20 selfies at a time and delete 19. She's still beautiful. I am however more worried about spending so much on L'Oréal products with such horrible foundation and lipstick. The makeup itself is extremely tacky and unprofessional |
Him laying there dead His family going about their normal day believing everything is okay.. Then they get that one phone call that changes everything..., "hello. Is this....? are you related to one Mr....?".. First you think it's a big joke and hope you wake up from this dream. But getting there and seeing his lifeless body, it eventually hits you that this is no dream, you've lost your loved one that you saw leaving the house in the morning ![]() It's not the dead ones who suffer the pain of death, it's the ones left to mourn them. RIP young man! God grant your family and friends the heart to bear losing you |
