Am sorry you sounded you were from a violent or broken home. Easily picking fight with your mil cos pics is despicable. Wisdom is profitable. She should have waited and inform the husband that mil took the best picture which cannot be reprinted? Can the husband fight with his mil over such? To me the lady didn't act maturely. What if the mil fainted,injured seriously or even died in the process,would you say the pictures would worth the wahala she will find herself? I'm sorry we do not share the same opinion on this but that doesn't give you the right to decide what kind of home I come from. We live in a country where MILs just enjoy mistreating their DILs without any concrete reasons and over the years ladies have learnt to develop a thick skin and be ready for things like that. I am not a pretender! If my inlaws don't love and respect me, they shouldn't expect the same from me. All I'd worry about is my husband and children. I'm not saying being violent or fighting your MIL solves the problem here but not every DIL has the patience to endure maltreatment for as long as it lasts. You have to be bold enough to stand up to a not-so-loving MIL if not they'd end up running and ruining your home.

No sane woman enters a family and automatically becomes rude or rebellious to her MIL. As a matter of fact most women try hard to impress and win over their love even before the wedding, but if that doesn't work, you can't except her to keep ass-licking her MIL. If you didn't meet me as a pauper and you're not feeding my family, don't expect me to let you treat me like one.

Now the pictures in question are that of her grandchildren born by the woman she is not in good terms with. The wife has every right to say No, I don't know how she said it but she has the right. And if MIL wasn't satisfied with the answer she would have called or waited for her son and ask him to make copies for her, not slapping the poor lady. I do not know how it got to the point of fighting, but I remember the op said the wife called him, probably asking him to come warn his mother. And the two other people who came to the house with her are not good people if they couldn't do anything to stop the fight. Showed they all had a motive

Mother in-laws can be very wicked and controlling. As far as I'm concerned your wife can't be blamed at all, she must have been pushed too hard she couldn't take it any longer. What did your mother come to your house with her sister and friend to do? They came to start a fight! And they patiently waited for you to leave the house to initiate one. I'm glad your wife was strong enough to show them who the boss was

If your wife didn't respect you or your mother, she wouldn't have called you before the fight escalated, my opinion. Mother in-laws should learn to stop sticking their noses where they don't belong, not every wife cares about tradition.

If your mother cannot love and respect your wife after she's had two of her grandchildren, then she shouldn't expect same from her. She can't keep playing the perfect wife forever

I don't think you should be dating someone you don't intend possibly getting married to, whether it works out or not.

That said, you shouldn't be worried about your kids' height. If genetics smile on you, they'd be just about the right height

My friend's parents are short, as in very SHORT...both of them. But my friend is lucky she's average in height and both her brothers are very tall. So you see, it doesn't always turn out bad

If a urine or blood test showed the op's wife was pregnant, then she most definitely was. Besides most people don't go for a scan till after their first trimester

only the staff at the till can remove those ink tags. if someone attempts to steal any clothing item without going to the till, the alarm system is deafening. the way people at the store would look at you, you would start confessing.



the high end stores have cameras & they do monitor. they actually make enough profit to pay for personnel that would sit & stare at the monitors. a small scale store like the one in the video on this thread wouldn't be able to afford all that on security alone. they have overheads to pay, don't they?

Even the alarm systems can't be relied upon most times. I remember leaving a H$M store with my two shopping bags when the alarm went off it felt so embarrassing knowing I paid for all the items. The security men came and checked everything and tallied them with my receipt. They eventually apologised when they found nothing was unpaid for.

But you should have seen my heart pounding the whole time, because even when I knew I paid for every item I bought, I just couldn't fathom why in the hell that alarm went off on me

Very soon, one will book a flight with these airlines and after hours of delay,they will announce that a bus has been arranged to take you to your destination as the plane was not going again.
I recently attended a conference in enugu,at the end I peacefully decided to return to Lagos by road(since it was a sunday and no rush) and I boarded a small hiace bus and we left by 7:30am. My friend and his wife booked to return by Arik on a 12:30pm flight. By the time I got to my house in Lagos around 4pm,they still hadn't taken off in enugu. He was mad!

Exactly what happened to me two Sundays ago. My cousin left for enugu by road after persuading me to no avail. By 2:30pm she was in enugu while we were still at the airport for a supposed 12:35pm flight. Suffice to say that I got home by 8pm that night. I was exhausted and hungry, way more than my cousin who came by road.

Yes I am Igbo but neither am I related to the guy nor do I support him.
