ChiSun27:Oh yes! I'm a strong believer ![]() |
Gamboh55: |
Tallesty1:You created this thread because u feel it's wrong for a lady without a job to leave her family house and go live in the city, in a way that's judging them. That's why I used a case study of someone I know to explain that some don't want to stay back in their family houses because they take up the responsibility of catering for that same family, and maybe they feel getting a regular job won't cut it for them. Well I wouldn't know if what they go through to make the money is all worth it, but they wouldn't keep doing it if they didn't think so. Don't be confused Mr, I do not and will never support a girl going after men for money to survive, but if a grown lady chooses that path for herself, then goodluck to her. I've grown and learnt to live my life by my own principles and not minding how others choose to live theirs. Do you get my point now? |
Tallesty1:Oh well they call it Moral Crisis *shrugs* |
ChiSun27:The last thing I'm doing is envy her oo, because while I know she's doing very well, I also know of some bad experiences she's been through. I sooo can't keep up with such lifestyle. |
I know of one who caters for her entire family(mum and two brothers) with such lifestyle. After their dad died, their rich inlaws left them with nothing. While her actions are not justifiable, she is determined to pull her family up rather than let them pull her down. I only know of this one because she's a family friend. And did I mention she's doing way better than me doing a regular 8-6 job and still searching for a dream job? She bought a car for her mum last year and is planning on building her a house soon Like someone said, don't judge them all cos u don't know their story |
I am glad your mum has been released but I don't think this case is close to being over...I hope I'm wrong. What most people here don't understand is that the bank may have nothing to do with your mother's arrest directly, all they want is their money. All blames lie on the valuer Naomi because the info she gave the bank concerning the collateral was completely different from what they eventually saw, hence their rejecting the actual collateral. This case wouldn't have escalated this way but for Naomi's laziness. All she needed do was wait a few more minutes for your dad so they could go together to the actual property. Instead she took pictures of the wrong property and sent to the bank. The bank may or may not have given the loan if they didn't think the collateral was worth it. I'm quite certain the bank got into some sort of feud with the valuer for giving them wrong informations about the collateral and so she is trying everything possible to make it look like she was fooled by your family thereby involving the SARS, and I don't think she's done....such heartless and evil woman I must add. Your family needs to get a better lawyer and do what needs to be done ASAP!!! Goodluck and best regards to your dear mum |
I remember going for night classes with my boys back in Uniport. Some days we would read extensively, other days we'd come and just doze off till dawn ![]() Glad it was all worth it in the end. How time flies |
Lol!! I'm a lady but I can play chess more than Don Jazzy they probably just wanted to just pose for the cameras with it anyway |
Very well articulated and composed. He answered every question with such great composure and confidence without direct insults to anybody or party. Very professional! I particularly like the way he tackled the question about giving capital punishments for supposed minor crimes when he was head of state. It's very simple, just like in Malaysia, there's a law surrounding anyone caught with drugs....execution!!! He may be a dictator like many people say,but maybe that's the kind of leader Nigeria needs now that corruption and insecurity has engulfed our entire system. Well done GMB! This interview has shown that a man without a certificate can actually be more educated than one with a PhD |
Why do I sense so much fear from "Nigeria's leading party" Never seen them on such edge beforeFew weeks to elections they want to postpone without a good reason. They probably need more time to scheme on how to rig the elections because it looks tougher this time. |
diksucker:@ bolded, I have...infact several times. I used to believe love was more important than money. I'm one of those ladies who believe in starting from the scratch with someone who has potentials and building an empire together. I always thought those rich guys are arrogant and would cheat on you and flaunt it in ur face. Infact seeing a guy as rich was more than enough turn-off for me. Besides I thought what can they get me that I can't get for myself by God's grace. I also had the mindset that those rich guys had that one girl who stood by them when they had nothing, and would most definitely choose them over you when they eventually want to settle down. By as I grew older, I realised that even those "broke guys with potentials" would still lie and cheat on you. Most of them are always insecure because they believe that because u're a very pretty lady, u'd most likely leave them when some richer guy comes along. With all that, I drew my conclusions. @ topic, Love is not enough. Money is the only reason most relationships blossom |
Ujujoan:This is by far my best comment on this thread! Chukwu gozie gi Nne m. @ faceless04 if you say his family members know you very well, but they're still okay with the fact that their son doesn't want to get married, especially his mother? Then I think there's something definitely wrong. And from the way you sound, I doubt if u're close to his mum which is absolutely not normal considering u've been with her son for 10yrs. |
great664:Ok sir |
It's only in Nigeria criminals like these walk free, spit out any trash they want and are given immunity by the Government. GEJ cannot call his brothers to order Their rants alone is enough to make me want Buhari to win this election, because I'd like to see what becomes of these holigans afterwards |
Congrats to her!! 4.99 GP means that if she offered a total of 50 courses from her first year to final year, she made 49 A's and probably just one B. But is that even possible ![]() |
bellong:Atleast he was nice enough to stop and see what was inside the nylon bag. This picture he took would go a long way alerting a large number of the public and a bunch of NGOs and individuals who might want to help take care of the baby. |
The only truth I see here is that D'banj left his "family" for Kanye West record label which he must have presumed would make him become a bigger star. I can't blame him for aspiring for bigger things but I doubt if he gave a hoot about what would become of mo'hits when he was gone, hence not heeding to Don Jazzy's advice about coming back to Nigeria Now where is his new boss Kanye? He probably wasn't impressed by D'banj's music and dumped him. Now he's crying fowl. Was he expecting a big hug from mo'hits after all that? Never bite the fingers that fed u, cos one day u'd wish u hadn't |
lastpage:Ok now I get it. It's actually the woman that's facing deportation for whatever reasons, and of course she has to go back home with her boy since he isn't upto 7. Poor boy. I sincerely hope they reconsider for his sake Thanks for the clarification |
sandee575:You think she has no reason being concerned about Boko Haram? Why not? What if the only family she has stays in the north By the way, nobody seem to be answering the question here. If the boy was born in the UK, why is he facing deportation? |
But I don't get it... If he died in coma, in a hospital... then why is his corpse in the back seat of a car not properly covered? And if the hospital has no mortuary, isn't it the job of ambulances to transfer dead bodies to one? Or do people now take corpses to the mortuary in a private car? |
hydrocarbon:Shut the fvck up!!! There's a protective device called a condom. If he had used one, which by the way is not expensive, there wouldn't be any need for all this bullsh!!t story in the first place. He went into her without protection, he liked it! He got her pregnant, now u're suggesting she wants to tie him down with pregnancy.. Are you mad? |
An emergency about your mum yet some choose to call their debtors first |
Orunto:Unnecessary distraction you say ![]() And what DUTIES exactly have the military done so far to protect the lives of the civilians? |
I have followed GEJ closely since this campaign period and realized the man reeks of nothing but incompetence and lies. I've never seen a leader who continously puts blames on others for a job he failed woefully at. It's high time we stopped letting sentiments becloud our judgements. The fisherman should get going already |
OBJ is a mind games master!! I knew it when he went to GEJ's niece wedding that he wanted them to believe he was on their side. How naive can they be after all that has happened between OBJ and GEJ? Now he's gotten exactly what he wanted by getting them running to him while he plays ping pong with them. Poor GEJ. I can imagine how desperate he must be now |
“I can see the glory of Nigeria in the South East and I don’t agree with Wole Soyinka that Jonathan is Nebuchadnezzar; Jonathan is a forerunner to the glory of God.” Who else thinks this man is prophesying that Nigeria would break up? If this prophesy is anything to go by, then there's a bloody war looming |
This guy is a complete ediot! This interview just confirms it. Atleast he's smart enough to realize that Nigeria would be too hot for him and his "businesses" should his sponsor lose this election, hence his early plans to run to Benin Republic |
I just checked the guy's FB page and he doesn't even look remorseful, taking pictures with friends and uploading at will. He even has a girlfriend ![]() I say flood his Facebook page and inbox with insults and curses except he turns himself in to the police. Let him know it's not okay to defile a nine year old and still be "balling" like nothing happened ![]() |
valkaka:I do not understand your point here. I only stated a reason why the person I quoted feels ugly girls are getting married while the beautiful ones can't even be in a serious relationship. And yes it's mainly because pretty ladies are always too choosy thereby running from a man to another looking for Mr Perfect, while the ugly ones keep their heads down and settle for one man. So what exactly is your epistle about ![]() |
inme:because they're always too choosy and do not believe any man is good enough for them |
NaLaugh:Like I said, I won't be going to any bank to lay complaints because I got an unknown alert. They can always take it whenever they want as long as they don't withdraw above 15k. But if they don't, I'd take it they don't want it back, hence my comment about a pair of shoes. Besides N15,000 can't make me run into "unnecessary debt" Thanks for your concern all the same |
