KingSango:Agreed. I have a 9 year old son and can't imagine him going through sexual abuse at this age. I'd kill that person with my own hands I'm not even thinking twice about it. However this topic was about the female child hence my emphasis. They're much more vulnerable and exposed to bigger and long-term consequences. I don't even have a daughter yet but I'm very over-protective of them. Point is, protect your children (boy or girl) from these animals. Get involved with every single thing they're doing and be their best friends. It'd be easier for them to speak up when these things happen 2 Likes |

This goes to show that a large number of the girl child is sexually abused on a daily basis. We just don't know the exact figure because most of them are naive and they can't get pregnant at that young age, except for these extremely rare cases. Guard your daughters from your fathers, brothers, uncles, drivers, priests, pastors....everyone!! Even the nicest and most trustworthy of them all! Every damn male close to your daughter should be treated as a potential pedophile!!! 4 Likes |

The system in the US does not let you save, because it feels there is no need to if you have everything you need. Even your retirement is secure and the future of your unborn kids is assured if you follow the rules of the system. In Africa however, we're so obsessed with saving saving saving and piling up money in our accounts without really enjoying a quality lifestyle. Most people then die leaving these huge amounts in their accounts. Either the children don't have access to the funds because they don't even know or someone just squanders the money recklessly. And the cycle continues. Point is, decide if you want to live a quality and secure life with less savings or if you want millions in your account with too many uncertainties. 11 Likes 1 Share |

majekdom2:Wrong my dear. Privilege plays a better role than opportunity. If, let's say you got an opportunity to further your education abroad, maybe through an online application you did.....but you don't have the privileges like the finances for visa, ticket, school fees,accommodation etc; no sponsor/benefactor or at least any means that'd make your stay comfortable throughout your education, do you think that opportunity would still play out? I saw a lot of students during my University days who had to defer their admission because their parents couldn't come up with the tuition. They had the opportunity but didn't have the privilege at the time. So many other instances, but in all we need to believe and trust in the process that someday all that hardwork would pay off. |

atilla:You'd hardly ever get 364 days tenor from secondary market. You only get things like 304, 343, 309 etc and that is what your interest would be based on. And yes you'd most likely be buying from someone who bought the 364 days but decided to sell after a few weeks or months but that's not your problem to worry about. 1 Like |

Lisaflex:It's very sad that people are attacking the victim here, but very typical. This lady was deceived into a scam marriage, endured it all while putting up a decorum to cover it all up because she wanted her marriage to work. Despite everything, she made everyone believe she had the best husband and that's what every wise woman does.... But then there was only so much she could take. Just left first bank now. Had to go very early because people are not smiling anymore  Although I wanted anything above 300 days but I got 269 @ 17% and grabbed it immediately. Got debited and now waiting for my interest  |

Please advice needed... My TB matures in a few days and I'm thinking.. Should I reinvest for 182 days and see how the rates fair over the next 6 months considering factors like oil price that currently dropped, upcoming election campaigns etc OR should I just lock down the funds for another 364 days and take my bulk interest? |
