Zainm: Hello, I am posting this for those who it may help.
7th January 2025 - I paid US visa fee at FBN. Posted the Aventum Number and date of payment same day. 9th January 2025 - Payment reflected on AVITS website and I was able to proceed with booking appointment. Answered all the relevant questions. Eligible for IW. Booked IW appointment for end of February 2025. The earliest date available was 12th February 2025. I proceeded to OIS Website to book Drop off for same end of February 2025. I paid N57, 400. The process was seamless.
My question: What is the OIS Drop off payment for? Can the passport be dropped off and picked up by proxy?
Thank you. Is this Abuja or Lagos, how were you able to book an early date like that? My conference is in March but the earliest date I am seeing on the website is June 2025(Abuja). Any advise pls 🙏🙏 |

trollx: As at now, you can get May in Abuja. But for Lagos, no viable appointment dates yet. It's so pathetic😤 Thank you but my conference is in March! Can this be possible? March 10 to be precise. |

trollx: Thanks for your response. Yes, you're right. They should rectify Lagos appointments dates, I think it has an issue. Because Abuja is working perfectly fine. What is the earliest date one can get in Abuja? |

Taal17: You can renew but I doubt they will deliver to your address. You'd have to pickup at DHL Lagos or Abuja. It's not called Dropbox it's called interview waiver , check requirements on the US embassy Nigeria site and follow prompts for interview waiver to book appointment.
Interview waiver applicants can still be called for interviews so bare that in mind
Your might want to consider getting it renewed in nearby embassies in Mexico or Canada instead. Pls can you add me to the Telegram/Wahtsapp channel for updates. Thanks |

gideonite98: I really don't know about rap but some dance steps are not for the lord and especially when you're in the church. It's like you decide to dance skelewu, zanku, those marlians dance steps etc in the church and you're saying nothing is wrong with it and break dance is used in hip hops (I was a dancer back then and you learn stuffs like that in hip hops especially foreign ones). So I personally don't do some dance steps in church or in public set but I listen to lecrae raps.
For the lady saying you can twerk in church please you really need to change your church if twerking is allowed.
Peace Happy Sunday. What about dancing like David and going naked . Is that permitted in the church? |

OndoFirstBorn: On workers salaries, You lied.
On assumption of office, Aketi inherited 7months salary arrears from his predecessor, Mimiko. He has cleared 6 months so far and still paying the current salary as and when due. He's also paying 30k minimum wage.
Secondly, Even Oshiomhole lost Edo State to the PDP in the Presidential Election. So that's not a new thing. Na lie Bros my both parents are teachers in Ondo state. He’s paying 40% right now. As I speak to you the May salaries they got was 40% . This is not something I’m googling to tell you. This is an in household thing. The arrears he didn’t pay it too. Arrears or about two months. Ask any civil servant in the state. I’m in the state presently. |

OndoFirstBorn: The only problem they have with him is that Aketi has changed Ondo State politics from sharing the state's resources by doing stomach infrastructures to bettering the lives of the people of the State and moving the state forward.
Largely speaking, Politicians who don’t see things that way are the ones who don’t share the same page with him.
Ask anyone among them why they don't like him, they'll have no tangible reason to give you. He didn’t pay workers salaries!!! Very important He lost his state to opposition parties! He didn’t win any for APC Forget all these pictures you are seeing!!! |

1.) I will make sure that the salaries and allowances of Law Makers are reduced drastically. This might be hard though, but I will make sure the money sent to the Nationa Assembly will be re-adjusted. The cumbersome and huge amount makes our election do or die.
2.) Education will be my number one target: All children must be in school. The public schools will be nourished and fortified with finance and work force. No country can develop with investing in Education. NIGERIA has the highest number of our of school children in sub Saharan Africa.
3.) Massive Free Health care and I will have a task force that will monitor this. Not money will be pumped to the health sector. Health workers will received their money as at when due. This will reduce fatality rate in the country.
4.) All Nigerians will be capture in a social register of a national data base that will encapsulate all citizenry’s. This way we will check make crime in all level. If you commit a crime you can’t escape so people will avoid it.
5.) Nigeria elections will be conducted with the use of Blcokchain. I won’t explain further on this! |

Christianity Etc › Re: Can I Pay My Tithe To My Church And Widows According To Deuteronomy 26:12? by antifat(m): 1:04pm On May 17, 2020 |
MasterJayJay: THE TRUTH ABOUT TITHE.
Introduction: If your pastors say giving the needy, widows, orphans 10% of your income is not tithe, that you must pay it to him, then you are attending a business centre, not a church.
Malachi is the favourite book most pastors use to preach tithe. And it is very obvious, they use it because it contains a curse for those who don't pay it. Therefore, it is the 'best' verse used to brainwash Christians.
If you want to preach tithing, preach all verses related to it. Most of these men of God know the other verses but the only one they preach to their audience is Malachi. The sheep they are leading are even lazy to read their own bibles to see the truth for themselves. Note that quarter of truth is no truth, truth must be whole. Don’t add, don't remove.
Tithing is an Old Testament concept, just like circumcision and animal sacrifice. Things Christians were meant to abide to have validations from New testament after death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. There is nowhere tithe was clearly instructed in the New Testament after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The New Testament focuses on giving without compulsion. 2 Corinthians 9:7 captured it very well “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver".
If you believe in tithing, then you should see other verses of the bible to know how it was applied thousands of years ago. Tithes were not for gentiles, it was for the Jews. Tithes were for the Levites, descendants of Levi. How many of your Pastors that preach Malachi to you are descendants of Levi?
There is a particular portion of the bible most pastors will never preach to you, and that can be found in Deut 14.22-29. Tithe was instructed to be given to the strangers, orphans, widows etc. How many pastors can boldly tell their members to give their tithes to widows and those in need?
Conclusion, if you want to pay tithe, that's your choice. But don't use outdated and obsolete verses like the one found in Malachi to threaten people. Are some verses outdated? Animal sacrifices were allowed in the Old Testament. After Jesus Christ paid for our sins, it made animal sacrifices to be outdated, and that includes tithes too.
For detailed explanation on tithes see this thread

How much does all these things cost. I remembered in my Uni days, project test kits (LDH, gluthaione, ALT,AST, etc) are not usually more than 30-35k per kit and you can do more than a 100samples. The government needs to look into this. |
