Nazgul: See leme tell you... everybody in Nigeria is mad o, just that we have different levels and categories.
Like yours when your spirit comes it's plate that you'll carry, my own spirit no de hear word o! It's bottle, plank or iron rod I will carry sharply break for person head.
So that's why I feel that things will work between us since we both share the same violent spirit. We can break each other's heads when the spirit comes, then rush each other to the hospital and apologize to each other once the spirit leaves. And after a while repeat the same process again, when the spirit returns. |

CHoccolaTE: Are you living in this Nigeria or you just enjoy telling yourself lies? No one is pointing a gun to give birth? In a country where a woman without kids is stigmatized and relatives will not let her rest, will keep giving her "tips" and "advice" on how to conceive because Nigerians are very traditional and don't understand marriage without kids? Or is it not the same Nigeria that family and even friends will keep advising the man to marry another wife if his wife cannot conceive because he needs to have kids and prolong his lineage? The same Nigeria where a man will have 5 female children and still keep trying for a 6th one because he hasn't gotten a Male child? Dont even bring your delusions here please, unless you don't live in n Nigeria you cannot pretend you dont know having children is something expected from women after marriage, whether they like it or not.
Self delusion on display again Arguing just because he wants to be contrarian and peddling lies to make it look like men gain nothing from marriage Do you live on Mars? Oh, so men know how to cook so that means it's no longer a traditional rule for wives to be the house cook after marriage? You that typed this nonsense, after marriage tell your wife to not bother cooking for you at home. Tell her anyone can cook so you will be the one cooking all the food for yourself and your children so she should not bother doing it. Coming here to display self delusion. If a married woman opens her mouth to say she doesnt cook or take charge of chores at home in public she will be insulted, even of she is working class. Nigeria is still a backward and very religious society where people use scripture to determine wives roles in marriage, dont come here acting like you don't know it.
More self delusion, like I said in my previous response to you Nigeria is still a very religious society and men expect "submission" and "obedience" from marriage, both Christians and Muslims. People draw their beliefs and marital laws from religious books and both the bible and the Quran instructs wives to submit to husbands and let them rule over them. So dont even bring your lies here. An average Nigerian man will not set out looking for a wife to be equal partners with, they want a "humble" and "submissive" and "obedient" woman because they believe that's what God asked women to do for their husbands. And no, women dont stick to cheating husbands because they are not financially empowered. That's just bullshit. Divorced women are stigmatized in Nigeria and mocked for not being able to keep their families together. Their female children suffer the stigma when they grow up because people believe they will not be able to stay with their husbands since they grew up in a broken home.
Hahahah Men really hate feminism because of their innate hatred for females, every gender has their benefits and drawbacks, both males and females so no gender is equal or less than the other. This will always remain a fact whether it annoys males or not. And no, societal expectations will not allow ladies remain single and not have kids that will prolong another mans lineage, it's something women are expected to do even of its very unfair to them, women that dont kowtow to these oppressive societal expectations are stigmatized. Men didnt stop providing because women demanded feminism, offline, a way from Twitter nairaland, Facebook and social media generally, Nigeria is still a very religious and traditional society and people model their marital laws from religious books, Nigeria is still very patriarchal and biased against females and women are expected to be carry a lot of stress to be regarded as good wives. An average Nigerian on the streets will not see anything wrong with a woman working 9 to 5 and being the primary home maker and child carer but if a man says he works 9 to 5 and he is the one in charge of taking care of kids and the house his wife will be regarded as a bad or lazy woman.
Men have cheated on their very sexy wives before, Tiger woods cheated on his model and very beautiful wife with a lot of different beautiful women, beyonce as beautiful as she is, got cheated on by her husband. Males cheating cannot be blamed on women. If your wife is getting old and has stopped taking care of herself then talk to her and tell her to sit up and work on her appearance. The solution is not to cheat. I like how you ended your post by saying a lot of married people only have sex for procreation, the same you that said nobody is pointing a gun at women's heads and forcing them to give birth. If a man starts cheating on his wife and keeping girlfriends outside he will definitely stop being interested in pleasing his wife in the bedroom or stop sleeping with her totally. No amount of discussion from the wife can change that.
When you get married, tell your wife to not do any single housework or spend any money for you because you only want to enjoy her company, love and laughter. You hear? In Nigeria if a man stops providing for his wife she has nothing to gain from the marriage and that is just the fact. Unless you live in America or any other western country where the men actually see their wives as equal partners and can cook for her and clean and wash her clothes for her everytime.
No they don't. In every single corporate organisation you will find females there, sometimes in equal number with the males, in every single market place you find majority of the traders are female. In hairdressingsaloons, tailor shops, makeup artists, restaurants, event planners, caterers hospitality business, health institutions you find women there working to provide for their homes. Some of these women have husband that hide their money or only spends his own money sparingly because he expects his wife to take care of herself and the children. Nigeria is a very hard place to live in presently becaue of the state of the economy so its not possible for males to be providing 80% of family reponsibilities. Women have to work to help the family meet up and these women are not getting equal assistance with housechores in return. It's either you dont live in Nigeria or you are just being willfully ignorant.
Why are more men in jail? Who put them there? Is it not because of their criminal activities? So why the fucck should women be made to suffer for it or pay for it? If a man does not want to work in strenuous or stressful jobs he should work a slow paced job instead, nobody forced them to do strenuous jobs or work as mechanics, there a lot of alternative jobs like medicine and white collar jobs. Dont blame women for men putting their own lives at risk. The same men are the ones ruining things for everybody with their criminal activities, they rob, kill, rape, maim, kidnap, scam, etc. Majority of criminals and deviants are males. A woman cannot walk down the street at night or live alone because of fear of what a males criminal might do to her. These are the same people claiming that women are inferior to them. A thousand likes for this!!!!! You couldn't have said it any better, sadly this is nothing but the truth! Go girl!! |

Emeka71: I wonder because many babes prefer the husband to fight her than to report her to her daddy. Yeah, I understand! In marriage, no one actually likes been ratted out on any little thing to their families/third party! So if this generation will grasp the deep message hidden in what he said, it's better whatever ails you in your marriage or bothers your mind regarding your spouse, take it to God and watch him solve the problem!! But what do we have today, people take their issues to social media rather than talk to God! May God help us all! |

desthan: Maybe he implied sending her back to her father in heaven Why imagining evils/murder against another person, just because they offended you?? Especially your wife! Going by this your logic, when you're the one who is wrong, you should probably be sent back to your father in heaven also!! Not so?? |

CHoccolaTE: Why do men think housewives do nothing all day but watch television? Dont they cook, clean, keep the house in order, pay attention to their children's welfare and proper upbringing than career women that are outside all day, morning till evening and when they come home they are too tired for their family.
Why do you think housewives dont have anything to discuss except Telemundo? They can tell you how your kids are keeping up and how things are faring at home if everything is running smoothly.
Men just hate women that is why they cannot see the value in things women do, they think raising children properly and keeping a home and cleaning and cooking every single day is meaningless because women are the ones handling those chores.
They think breadwinning is the only worthwhile chore because that is a traditional chore for men. True! If tables were turned, these same men will nearly die!!! Just leave these same men with the house chores they call nothing, let them cook, clean, wash clothes, while backing a crying child at the same time, breastfeeding another and still expected to bath the kids, change diapers cook, and still give mind blowing sex at night!! Then you'll quickly realize that many of them are not just lazy, but are also damn fragile! Half of the crap they dish out to women, they can't take! Now imagine all of these in a working mom, who'll also go to work since morning, and pulls her weight whilst also bringing cash to the table, yet will still get home at night and enter the kitchen, care for kids, homework etc! So what exactly is the man bringing to the table, seeing as a working mom is also making money and sometimes even more than the man?? Truth is, marriage pays men more than women! Especially in Africa!! The only people who will argue this are those yet to marry! |

Kriss216: Story.
Can't imagine a real man reporting to his father in-law that his wife is fighting him. Only pusssy asss niggarrrrs do that.
Send her packing, let her go and report her actions to her dad instead. He meant God her heavenly father, not her biological dad! |

It may not be negligence, cos there was no mention of such in the article! StOp assuming every death is due to negligence! With SVD there's about 5 to 10% risk of mortality associated while for CS, maternal mortality rated could as high as 15% in African Americans even in the best of facilities/expertise! Maternal mortality is real and scary owing to a lot of factors! These are issues society should be discussing but people would rather do silhouette challenge! May God help the future generation! |
