Those who married only one wife were almost always looked down upon and very few ever did it by choice; mostly low status men unable to afford it. You may want to make yourself happy by thinking that monogamy is the right thing to do, but centuries of society have shown otherwise. Whether you agree with the statement or not, monogamy absolutely was an aberration; except for early Greek and Roman societies; and even those ones permitted a great deal of concubinage.

And this is not just my opinion as you falsely tried to infer. It's pure history. Go check it. Nor do I consider anything contrary to my opinion an aberration. An aberration is that which departs from what is normal, usual or expected; and what was normal/usual and expected was the historical practice of polygamy.

Incidentally, polygamy was always universal. It was monogamy that was imported from ancient Greek and Roman cultures into the Bible from where it spread with christianity. Monogamy is the aberration.

Oga every woman is entitled to a maternity leave whether she's married or not. Some countries sef get paternity leave so there's that. Also labor lasts from 20 minutes to days at a stretch. I've never heard of someone in labor for months, guy.

Nairaland has been so boring in past months as every thread is used to abuse and batter women, so much do that it's not worth it responding to mentions. The paid stories are getting out of hand. The technique is so clear. Create thread in which man is the supposed victim, use multiple accounts to bash women, silence any contrary opinion and in a short time you have people who are genuinely influenced by looney social experiment threads.

But anywhere I see men using those threads to wreak havoc in the life of a woman needlessly by extension, to abuse and denigrate women needlessly and endlessly, to create baseless assumptions and brainwash themselves with senseless male plots, fantasies and agendas -- I will debunk it.

But to engage with scientists? No. That single, first exposure was filled with so much misogyny from him that there's no point engaging further.
