A lady is called an ashawo once she's rich and flashy. A woman shouldn't live alone or aspire to be too rich. A female can hardly give her opinion on Nairaland without being called a hoe and yet the guys that sleep with the so-called hoes are untouchable. In fact the gender bias has almost driven away all the ladies on the app. But it's someone that's asking for women to be included when her late father's property is being shared that's a sexist? Someone asking for the gander to get what the goose is enjoying is the sexist? And what exactly is "modern feminists". You are right about life online vs reality. It only happens on Nairaland. In my whole relations at work, church, school, gatherings, etc, I have not heard guys speak in the manner thst these guys speak to ladies here. I have never come across Redpillers, MGTOWin real life. They only have mouth on Nairaland.

3. If you are the type who don't fancy working for others, it's much more easier to own a business in Nigeria than in Canada/US. Western countries were set up for the 99% populace to work for 1% elites. Their education systems were designed to produce workforce for the rat race. Not to create employers of labour.

4. It's stupidity to resign from a high-paying job in Nigeria in a bid to relocate to Canada/US. Your eyes will get clear up when you start facing the hard realities in Canada. Those who had made this mistake in the past are ashamed to come on social media to talk about it. The ones talking on Twitter are 'freshers' who just arrived.

5. If you want to secure 2nd passport for your kids, you don't necessarily need to immigrate to achieve this. There are other ways, one method is overseas child birth.

6. You're 5x more likely to be shot and rubbed in New York than in Lagos. Poor neighborhoods all over the world has more crime rates. The thing is, when you finally made it in Nigeria,you can move to high brow areas with lesser crime.

7. Nigerians are spending up to 8millions ($21k) and above to immigrate to Canada/US whereas an average canadian or American citizen can't boast of $10k in their bank A/C's. They live pay check to pay check.

8. Some Nigerians claims that they ain't relocating because of the money but because of good infrastructure, good health care system, value for their money etc. That's a lie! 98% of Nigerians who're eager to travel out are relocating because of economic reasons. There are good infrastructure, good health care system and value for money in countries like Kuwait, Russia, Brazil, South Korea, Chile etc but Nigerians ain't trooping there, indicating that their preference for Canada/US is purely based on economic reasons.

9. It's cheaper to live in Nigeria. Canada/US promises higher minimum wage but the system will still take it away from you. It's like giving you with one hand and taking from you with another. $2k (N760k) will pay for your one year rent of 2 bedrooms apartment in a good location in Nigeria but same amount will only fetch you one month rent of a match box apartment in Canada/US.

10. This is not to stop you from traveling out but to inform you on the true realities. Economic immigration should be left for lower or working class who're struggling or to young lads who wants to school abroad and thereafter further their career overseas. Not to deceive Nigerians already earning good in corporate offices in Nigeria to resign and relocate where they will be employed as security guards or to deceive business owners who's businesses are thriving in Nigeria to close down business and relocate. Don't let them deceive you with the hype. Money don't grow on trees anywhere in the world.

After going through all the comments above, It is quite appalling that all what you guys can make out of this thought provoking action were mere jokes.

This life is full of mysteries and when I see stuffs like this one (Animals having sex) it makes me think deep and question certain things. As much as we love to trend on social media, let's also trend with caution and not forget the effects of the things we trend whether true, false or fiction.

Recently in the close of the year 2020 and now 2021, there has been several stories on broken homes which resulted from the DNA test results saga.

Some of us are writing and sharing stories from the comfort of our homes without taking prior concerns of the effect of the things we share on social media about relationships and lifestyle. To us, we think we are just trending but we don't care about the truthfulness in what we share and we do them ignorantly. In another sense, the stories might be true but do you know what it has done to several marital relationships?

I am writing this as a matter of deep concern to the emotional trauma it has raised in several homes, broken relationships and loss of trust among spouses. I evidently witnessed a man who had sent his wife packing because he suspects her of cheating, confronted her and because she kept denying, he angrily sent her packing.

In another story, a guy angrily beat up his girlfriend because he saw her taking a snapchat with a random guy in an event. In another story a girl dumped her boyfriend cause he refused to send her money for Christmas not minding the availability of the money. In the stories I got from a witness in a location in Benin, a man tricked his wife that he's travelling for a Business and he returned home that same day suspecting his wife was cheating but came home to meet her doing her house chores. He already started losing trust in his wife because of the stories we share on Social media. All these are just few of the numerous stories that have led to broken marriages, relationships.

As a matter of concern, we all have errors, issues and reasons we do what we do but the consequences are sometimes inevitable. A girl will naturally dump her boyfriend because he couldn't meet up with her needs like other girls enjoy luxury from their boyfriends, she begins to treat him like he means nothing and starts framing up issues to end the relationship. She does so much to frustrate him and the guy being a weaker vessel ends up commiting suicide upon discovering that the girl he invested so much on, has dumped him. The girl ends up with the other Rich boyfriend, when he gets broke again she dumps him. In other cases marries him and not enjoy her marriage. This is because she's suffering the consequences of dumping the one who had nothing but cared so much for her even with his last blood.

Social media stories like the recent video from Bobrisky has poisoned the minds of some of our ladies especially those who love and are addicted to luxuries. Our ladies in our generation no longer have concern for love but wealth. They are all looking for already made men and not ready to work hard in creating wealth with their trying partner. They have failed to understand that love itself can create wealth and when you build wealth with the one who truly love and care for you, you will always find comfort in the relationship even when it eventually leads to marriage. Ladies stop chasing the one in wealth and build wealth with the one currently with you.

These are what led to the DNA text results saga. Beware!

Away from the Ladies, the men are also not perfect, they are even worse and they take the much of the blame. There are several men who chase after ladies in wealth too, they dry them up, cheat on them and run away. The men also, but not all, are heartless, they beat up their wives, fail to take up responsibilities as husbands and sleep out with their concubines and leave their wives and kids starving. Some of these happen as a result of the advices they take from their pairs, lack of trust or because they feel their wives are getting old and fading away in their sight. Men sometimes are really so heartless. Our young Boys lose respect, care and affection for their Girlfriends because of youthful exuberance. They feel that they are doing justice to life by sleeping around, cheating on their girls and doing all sorts of things without putting their feelings in consideration and when they are confronted they become brutal and beat up the girls. Men don't see anything wrong in sleeping out after marriage but they see everything wrong in their wives keeping home late or going out for fun with their fellow women. This circle is really complicated.

I call for a stop to social media stories that has broken countless number of homes just in the beginning of this year. Let's learn to teach some good morals, offer good advices, respect our relationships, mind our businesses, build relationships in love, trust and take responsibilities in them. Let's treat everyone with respect, let's live happily and let's grow a better society, abiding by the principles of social values.

The FP of this forum has become a toxic cesspit of men who hate women. The very first thoughts always gravitate to hating women. There is never any good advice except to claim all women are evil, second only to the devil himself, to call women bitches, whores, sex slaves and other such things. Did I forget words like emotional and they're favorite, hypergamy? Any man who doesn't feel that way is tagged a simp and the toxic men go out of their way to flood the place with absurd opinions. It has reached the point where many men on the forum cannot see evil for what it is once it involves a woman. It's always somehow her fault and she deserves it. Toxic misogyny has finished the brains of the men here. Some hate their mothers and project their childhood issues on women. I'm sure there are fewer toxic feminists here than the general misogynistic toxic men present.
