Politics › Re: How Buhari Can Create 2 Million Jobs With BPO by ApexTitan(m): 7:44am On Apr 17, 2015
maclatunji:
Already a lot of companies outsource these functions, my plan is to expand the scope and lower the cost to them with government supported infrastructure.

The target for the international market is not the US alone, it is any company in any country that English is spoken. Hausa and Yoruba are also International languages.
Interesting. Are you aware that there is growing sentiment against the outsourcing of jobs in the west? In the light of this can this strategy really be a sustainable one?

Where do you get your confidence in APC from?
Politics › Re: Buhari's Promises: What Should Nigerians Expect? by ApexTitan(op): 7:26am On Apr 17, 2015
Are there promises Buhari made in relation to tangibles like say power generation, infrastructure provision like road constructions and the likes?
Politics › Re: Buhari's Promises: What Should Nigerians Expect? by ApexTitan(op):
bakjal:
NIGERIANS SHOULD EXPECT AN ADMINISTRATION THAT IS JUST AND FAIR TO ITS PEOPLE
Nice, but isn't this the type of statement that is hard to hold a government against? I'm sure every party in the world has said something similar.
Politics › Buhari's Promises: What Should Nigerians Expect? by ApexTitan(op):
In the past couple of days we have seen APC issue disclaimers and denials about certain promises that Buhari was believed to have made during his campaigns, the aim of these denials I believe is for Nigerians to have realistic expectations of the incoming administration. That's a fair enough aim, a lot of things were said during the campaigns so much so that there is a sense of confusion amongst expectant citizens.

The purpose of this thread is so that APC and it's agents or those in the know can tell Nigerians in clear and unambiguous terms what Buhari has promised to do for Nigeria and the outcomes we should expect.

This is not a call for another round of vacuous statements like "I will fight corruption" or "we will give the needs of Nigerians adequate focus". This is also not a call to rehash a party manifesto. The campaign promises of Buhari should be spelt out for those of us who are unclear about them. We deserve to know exactly what deliverables to expect so we can use them as parameters in measuring the new administration's performance. Let APC show that it is indeed different from PDP and sincere about the change it claims to stand for.
Politics › Re: Buhari Never Promised APC To Make Naira Equal To Dollar – APC by ApexTitan(m):
Enough of the disclaims and denials. The discussion should now move on to what exactly Buhari did promise the Nigerian people.

this report by Vanguard did not even communicate what the mischief makers are feeding to the gullible.
Yet APC waited till now to say the right thing. Right now their agents are all over this thread offering us lectures on the use quotation marks and what not.

A sincere party would have stepped up the moment the vanguard publication was made and debunked it, not wait till it can be used against them.

I honestly believe that there is little difference between APC and PDP, they will do virtually anything to get into power.

Pls read your link. Should I educate you on what quotation mark is ?
Why is it now that you are ready to lecture me and other Nigerians about the function and uses of quotation marks?

Should we expect more language classes in the future too?
Politics › Re: Buhari Never Promised APC To Make Naira Equal To Dollar – APC by ApexTitan(m): 3:36pm On Apr 16, 2015
This is an obvious attempt at backpedalling, it was clear that that promise was unachievable and unrealistic. Interestingly APC didn't do anything to correct what they now claim was a false report from Vanguard newspaper before the elections.

A whole lot of explaining will still be done by this party as they try to reduce the expectations(whether realistic or not) that they allowed to be spread during the campaigns.

Interesting times ahead.

you are a true block head !!

why wasnt he quoted in the article ?

do you know what ''quoted'' means?
Its amusing that you are now trying to hide behind semantics. The message in that piece is clear APC should quietly tell Nigerians that the vanguard article is false, this twisting and turning is embarrassing.

did you read the actual article and not the sensational headline? olodo!
Owerri – The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday said he would ensure that the Naira was equal to the dollar in value, if voted into office.
This is from the article.

mayne bolton ramsay has been a baddie since day 1 joffrey na pikin beside dat guys badness i wont wish him on evn my worst enemy
Yeah but Joffery was more powerful than Ramsay and his badness was still in its early stages before he died. Joffery would have grown to be completely despicable king while Ramsay would have just been at most the lord of house Bolton.

I meant Cersei is no match for the new queen, (Tommenn's wife) I have forgotten her name now
Oh you mean Margaery.

I don't think Margaery is as cold as Cersei, she certainly has a manipulative streak about her but I don't see her giving completely to wickedness. I mean, right now Cersei has placed a bounty on her brother's head for the murder of the king, that's something I think only a cold hearted and wicked person can do, not Margaery.

We have seen how such benevolent dispositions can be used against people in this series so I think Cersei is more likely to outsmart Margaery because of this "weakness".

Need a new baddie seriously, Cersei's wings has been clipped so badly.
Lord Bolton's bastard, Ramsey, is shaping up to be a real baddie.

I don't think Cersei's wings have been clipped. She is pretty much running the show now at the king's council; she is not only bringing in people who agree with her like Qyburn the rogue septon, she is surreptitiously using the religious sect, the sparrows, to go against people she feels are against her.

Best way for me to burn off calories is by jogging. I do 1hr 30mins (9.0 miles) worth of jogging at least 5 days a week.
shocked shocked shocked

9 miles is ~14km. You mean you jog 14km 5 days a week or what?!!! Please explain because with that kind of exercise you should be rake thin, you lose muscle tissue incredibly fast that it becomes unhealthy.

Jonathan and the PDP wouldnt dare remove Jega especially during this crucial time. There isn't any room for such manipulations especially now that all eyes are on this elections. This story has the markings of a well crafted piece of political mischief making.

Notice the people who will use it to scream loudest on the rooftops, those are the ones who stand to benefit from making up stuff like this.

That's how some people are, wake up on a Monday morning without brushing their teeth, open the Nairaland website look for the first thread that catches their eye and start making completely unrelated and vacouse comments without reading or thinking.
