I met this girl sometime last year and we quickly became friends.

I asked her out but she declined. We had sex once but she cried all through the night. When I asked her what the matter was, she said it was because she'd promised her mother not to have sex again until she marries seeing the way her elder sister's pregnancy out of wedlock broke their family and caused her parents to divorce.

I said okay. But we didn't stop having MouthAction or heavy petting. Just no sex even though I tried to initiate it many times without luck. I didn't wanna force her so I respected her decision.

Fast-forward last week Saturday, she came to my place with her friend and something happened which ended up pissing she and her friend out. I apologised and we all moved on. On Monday, she came to visit me and after our usual heavy petting with no sex, she said her friend said she liked me. She asked me if I would like to date her friend.

Truth be told, I like her friend very much and had been making plans to date her underground. This morning, she came and was cooking breakfast when I went to meet her in the kitchen. She told me that she would really like for me to date her friend. I said okay. I like the girl, I will date her and see how things go. I went back to the sitting room and a few moments later, the friend came in.

Now, the problem I am having is this:

1- is anything amiss here?
2- she said she will miss me but will still be coming whenever her friend is not around
3- she has already told me many things to be careful of with her friend when we start dating proper
4- she told me that she is not going to be jealous in any way but the arrangement suits her fine.

I have never experienced this kind of thing before and something doesn't feel right.

They are both nice girls, pretty and working class, but still, it feels like I am walking into a trap.

Are u for fvcking real! So your girlfriend doesn't even trust you? And u are proud to tell us. If you cannot dictate what should be in your relationship, then why are u the man? Your ex might forgive you for throwing her out when she genuinely needed your help as someone she could trust in a time of need which u were aware of, but tomorrow the tables might be turned and u would be paid in d same coin.

This is my first account ever, and my first post on Nairaland as well.

I and my girlfriend have been dating for 3yrs now, she will be 20 by November, this yr, while I will be 26 by March this year.

After her secondary school 3 yrs ago, her parents enrolled her in one IT company, were she studied cyberspace space security system manipulations, and some programming languages: java, php, html , and so many others. She spent 2 yrs studying in that foreign IT institution.

The real gist now is that she recently gained an admission into UNN to study Pure mathematics. The school had their quarter semester of this session first semester last year(Nov to Dec before Christmas break).

My worries is as follows below:

* she is so beautiful, radiant, elegant, and brainy.
* her graduate-assistant lectures already know her and are constantly calling her on phone.
* some random guys do call her always.

From the above points I highlighted, one can easily understand that she is already a kinda centre of attraction. I was in her company during this Christmas, when one guy called her and from there conversation, I sensed it was a lecturer. After the call I asked her the identity of the caller, and she said her lecturer. I asked her why they call het always, and she told me that she is for me and will always be for me, that nobody gonna take her away from me.

Furthermore, she said the lecturers always ask her for her contact number, which she gives them in other not to appear disrespectful to them. I asked her about the other guys calling her, and she said the were coursemates on GST courses, that many of them are course reps.

She confided in me that they all want to date her but she always tell them that she has a guy in her life, but they always insist that they be her friends with no stringe attached. She concluded by telling me that most of the guys said that they were jealous of that her guy.

Despite her explanations, I'm still not convinced. Although, the conversations ain't romantic, and she puts the call on out side speaker so I could hear their conversations and not feel anything bad.

Please, she has traveled back to school now(at Nsukka). Should I continue with the relationship or call it a quit, for I'm too emotional in terms of love? Should I keep believing her words?

I don't want to develop HBP at this my young age because of a girl. I need apt and concise advice now.

It all boils down to interest. We all aren't born with the same capabilities but even at that the environment we grow up in, plays a major role in molding us language wise. I don't wanna assume Yoruba was the major language spoken in ur house while growing up but I believe it's a probable cause and I feel you not being able to speak in fluent English is the reason why u rather not speak than being counted as a dummy. As I first said, it all boils down to interest, if u really wanna improve, go and get brighter grammar and pay attention to your tenses cos that's the undoing of most gibberish speaking individuals.

Painful but it's obvious she wasn't the one. It's not enough to conclude based on just her side of the story, who knows, she might be an ex just trying to raise dust.

It's not easy studying in the university and most of the things u would come across would seem like rocket science at first but this is the bottom line, knowledge doesn't build on nothing. There's nothing u will be taught that has no reflection or doesn't apply to the things around, look for that connection and put it side by side with what u are conversant with or already know cos the most important aspect of knowledge is application, if u cannot apply what u are reading to what u can see and know, then u are just wasting ur time.

Hello folks, I really need matured advise on why I should keep this relationship.

I met this lady while I was at my previous place of work (please note that we never worked for the same company), and we started by being friends at first. Our friendship became so strong that along the way, it led to a relationship.

We have been dating for approximately four months now without any problem, but I have been noticing some things of late whenever she comes over to my place. I observed she is always glued to her phone chatting.

I see that she almost forgot I was beside her most of the time, but I never felt pissed because I sensed she's chatting with her friends and I don't want to appear nosy.

I got the shock of my life when I picked up her phone last week to check for some of her pictures I could transfer to my phone, I saw pictures of a man's DICK. I asked her what those pictures were doing on her phone, she only dismissed it with laughter, saying "it's a silly male friend" that sent them to her via WhatsApp and she thought she has deleted them.

I have never in my life carried a girlfriend's phone with any intention of checking for proof of infidelity, but what happened that day led me to begin searching her WhatsApp chat logs to see who this "silly friend", but I'm surprised I couldn't find it at first, but being an hacker that I am, I discovered she always hides her conversations with this guy in archives.

While scrolling through her chats with the guy in question, I discovered he is married with kids, most of his chats with her have always been about his sexual adventure with various women, the chat conversation negates her assertion that she rebuked him for sending her his nudes, but rather, all I could see was her lolz.

One of the things that pained me about the girl in question is that this married guy had been the one advising her never to have sex with me until we are married, he also told her he'd give her a Love Machine whenever she needs sex and also to get a guy that she could have a no strings attached sexual relationship with (don't forget he has always been boasting about his sexual prowess).

I love this girl and wants to marry her, but I don't want to end up having a broken home (this is why I went for someone in her 30s whom I believe to be matured).

This is always my bone of contention whenever I hear someone declare himself a man of God, the question is which God? Amadioha or sango. So she makes money for herself. As I got to know her I realised behind the big smiles and jovial nature is a girl who hides her fears and pains. You could hurt her and she'd act like it's nothing.

While I was toasting her (still toasting) she told me how her ex whos was very generous to her turned out to be a married man with kids and she only got to know when she went visiting him. I asked her what she did. She said she turned around and left. There n then I knew she internalised a lot.

In summary, we met only once. She came to where I stayed at my cousin's. We had this brief fling that day. After she left everything went south since then. The WhatsApp calls have reduced to nothing, she doesn't talk to me in what I think is a deliberate act to ignore me. She tells me she likes me, she comes up with excuses why our dating won't work. I keep nullifying it. I want to think it's a money thing. Her exes were made men with cars n all. I love her like my life depends on her. I feel I should let her be but my heart can't take it. I have taken advise from some places but I just wanna drop it here one time. I want her so bad. I don't think I could ever hurt her. I don't even wanna camp her or anything. I just want her to show me the girl I tripped for. I call her now she cuts me off with any excuse like she's eating and all that stuff girls do when they don't want a guy. This is really tough, it's not gonna be easy going against your family cos they might end up washing their hands off.
