GavelSlam: I would quote you.
Even Generals who thought themselves untouchable had their illegally erected properties knocked down in the FCT.
You guys would go abroad and applaud them for sticking to guidelines while you come back home to carry out illegality. Who’s talking about generals? My relative obtained valid buildings permits for the properties in question and the properties are all situated inside Gwarimpa Estate. Imagine the houses beside where all spared because they belonged to vey powerful individuals and ours was bulldozed in one day. Six buildings in my ne day, meanwhile they where all situated in different parts of the estate and all were cleared in one day. Lost loved ones due to high bp and hypertension caused by this development. That’s by I said don’t quote me, cause the pain is still fresh in my memory. |

Angelfrost: If it is that Abuja matter, I completely support and love what he did there!!!
I stand for decency and order!!! Even inside Gwarimpa Estate? Two houses, three supermarkets and a hotel built with city council approval demolished within twenty four hours and you’re here telling me you love what he did. Probably because it didn’t happen to somebody you know? The promise of paying compensation till today, not a kobo has been received from the government and you are in support of that devilish man. Please don’t quote me again. Thank you |

I have never hidden my hatred for the midget, not because he’s Fulani or Muslim but because his wickedness knows no bounds. I witnessed it first hand during his days as minister for fct, where he made so many people homeless. |

Litmus: The bold is one of the chief flaws in Nigeria's fledgling democracy and opposition politics tradition. It is a sort of misalignment in our body politics that require urgent adjustment. Nothing screams, ‘Nigerian politicians have got to be thieves and crooks’, to enlightened objective electorate than opposition politicians appearing to encourage their supporters to wish the nation they want to lead disintegration and destruction unless they are the ones in government. We want men and women in politics that love their nation unconditionally or give the impression that they love their nation unconditionally even to the extent of being ready to lay down their lives for their nation and its peoples’. When opposition politics actually threaten destruction of their nation because they are not in power, encourage sedition, ethnic division, religious violence, encouraged hatred for the nation through media campaigns, this gives the impression that they only wish to lead the nation in order to grab what the can for themselves and not lead because of patriotism’s wanting to improve lives and nation. How should such individuals appeal to any electorate with a modicum of intelligence? All of you have found your voice suddenly, because you all realized APC has failed Nigerians. It is well |

Family › Re: I Am Suspecting My Wife Is Cheating. Should I Confront Her? by April4th(m): 10:40am On Sep 06, 2020 |
owo8184: I am a young married man with 2 kids. The marriage is 6yrs now. Due to the situation of the country, we’ve not been staying together. I hustle in a University environment in one of the states in Southwest while she works as a freelance for some organizations in Lagos.
I normally come home (Lagos) on monthly basis. But during this lockdown, I have been in Lagos with my family.
Prior to our marriage, there is this guy she met when we had some misunderstanding. They started a date but later called it off when we settled. She didn’t give me the details but based on what I read on her phone back then, I knew they made out together. The said guy is now in Port Harcourt but I am aware he normally comes to Lagos.
Just today, I heard my wife giving someone a description of where they will meet somewhere in Agege (where she uses as her office). I was curious to know the person. I didn’t ask her because she would find a story to cover up. I found a way to check her phone and saw that her ex - the said guy was the one who called. May I say that we have fought over this guy several times even before and after our marriage. She won’t let this guy be in her past. She’s either calling the guy or the guy is calling her. This time, I chose not to raise my voice but monitor her closely. She left home for work today. I may not be able to give details but every surrounding clue indicates that my wife has a date today. She returned home and I found a way to check her whatsapp but alas she has deleted her chats with the guy.
Just this night again, she received a call from another man asking her when she would come to his office. She once told me that the man was asking her out. In all these, I want to believe my wife is up to something. Infidelity is the last I would accept in this marriage.
Should I confront her with all these observations? Please, I am confused. Haven’t you heard of the saying “ two can play that game “ bros get yourself a side chick, make we see who go tire |

SmartPolician: Ogbeni, go sleep
Jonathan is not coming back.
I must commend those who rebranded Buhari in 2015 though. I once heard one of them saying that Buhari will personally lead our military to defeat Boko Haram because he is an ex-soldier. That was a preposterous comment, to say the least.
In all fairness, I think Buhari did better than Jonathan in fighting Boko Haram. Nowadays, bombs don't go off as they used to. I don't totally blame Jonathan though because he was new to insurgency.
In contrast, Buhari came prepared with many people saying that he is the sponsor of a Boko Haram faction that once named him their negotiator in the time of Jonathan.
Given that the fight on terrorism has been commercialized now, it will very impossible to end it completely. I also believe that the idea of releasing some Boko Haram terrorists would have been a precondition by one of the factions for ending years of bombing. So, it was not intentional as it was never logical. But we all see the positive results.
My biggest fear of this government is that they borrow too much, sending the signal that Nigeria is flat broke. Meanwhile, we have new taxes spring up every day with parastatals claiming that they generate huge sums in revenues now. All this begs the question: What does Buhari do with all Nigeria's earnings? All those bomb blast here and there was just to destabilize GEJ government. Now that one of their own is there, do you think they will dare bomb any location in Nigeria again? |
