Who was the person or group of people who passed the unification decree again? What was(were) the motive(s) for that decree? Yanga been dey sleep, trouble go wake.. During the last administration, out of the 104 unity colleges, these same group of people were principals in a total of 72 colleges. i.e beyond the colleges in their region. Despite the disquiet in the ministry of Education, thanks to Wike, they felt it was their right and never saw the injustice being done to other Nigerians. Still, Nobody came out crying and shouting like victimhood like these hate filled eternal cry babies. Like the same thing that happened in the university college Ibadan when their kinsman filled every fillable position with his tribesmen, like the same thing Odua did in the aviation ministry during the last administration.. They are always blind and quiet when the injustice favours them, but shout to high heavens when others are perceived as advantaged. If every body been dey him region the manage themselves like pre January 15, 1966, Nigeria for no dey here in the first place. Nonsense. |
twixx:You're just simply silly. All the advices up there are exactly the same words you'll get from NL if the roles were reversed, i.e if your story is even true, considering you already came here with a preconceived notion of the type of advice get. Or perhaps, it's just you carrying out a social experiment. There'll definitely be people who would tell you your brother in-law is already sleeping around and no longer interested in the marriage. There're those who would encourage her to leave the marriage since (physical) violence is now involved. There'll still be those who'd advocate she withheld sex from him to protect herself from possibly contracting STDs and STIs due to his suspected infidelity. And another pro-marriage/anti-divorce group will advocate she stays in the marriage, involve her pastor or God etc. So don't come here with any bias about the kind of advice you'll get because you'll see them all irrespective of gender. |
Op, one thing I've learnt in life when it comes to relationships with the opposite sex is desire can never be negotiated. It's either s/he's into you or not. In simple terms, attracting a girl you like isn’t something you can force. In fact, the harder you try getting her to like you, the less attractive you will be to her. Cc. Mr. Nice Guy Strategy So just forget about women (for now) because even the next young girl you meet would treat you the same way. For now focus on self improvement in every aspect of your life. i.e your Finances, appearance, health and fitness, life goals etc.. When the time comes should you choose to engage the opposite sex again, Just remember this picture and make sure not to date ladies above a certain age bracket.
|
I've seen a picture collage containing several mugshots of creepy looking (and some pretty) ladies including this particular picture of this creepy lady since last year. So unless this isn't exactly the lady in the story, then the story is fake. |
CriticMaestro:I'm not responsible for your poor comprehensive skills you know.. |
Theophilus Danjuma Patrick Yakowa Ibrahim (late) Yakubu Dogara Yakubu Gowon These are notable northern Nigerian persons but with (a mix of) typical northern Muslim names. Secondly, they were about four or five priests blessing their casket/graves, which means they weren't even musljms to begin with

Man and wife divorces.. Wife takes children with her and spends the rest of her life telling kids how much of an asss their dad is/was. Kids grow up believing those tales and see dad as the bad person. Years later, some reach out to seek the truth, while others resent him for ever, and a few choose not to get involved at all. All these nonsense won't be happening if the parents were still married. |

If a man comes out to say a woman is incomplete without a man or marriage, Nairaland ladies will come for his head. We're all witness to comments here on nairaland calling on Genevieve, Rita Dominic, Linda Ikeji et al. to "Go and marry" being called out (by mostly ladies), asking if marriage is all there is to a woman. Now this same lady has come out to say a woman is incomplete without a man, and Freeze called her out arguing in Favour of unmarried ladies, but hatred for him have made even supposed females to support the lady. My comment is directed to Nairaland ladies, before you join the bandwagon in insulting Freeze because of his opinion on this matter, ask yourself this, are you incomplete without a Man or marriage? |
Obara Jesu... See moto.. I Still prefer Audi sha.. |
In a market where the man is the buyer and lady a seller (i.e relationship), this is the worst advice to give to a lady. |
While there's nothing wrong buying female panties as a man, none of those two pictures proved he was actually buying or negotiating for the panties. Amongst other items sold in the shop, the only one he touched (which we can safely assume he was actually interested in) was the dress. So how come Op and everyone else thinks he was buying panties? |
felixzo1:Wow... I'm so sorry. The mail has been there since morning and the second one you just sent. Didn't take note of it. Thanks |
felixzo1:Good day sir. I sent you a mail using the above email while enquiring about Dairy farming in Nigeria earlier today. Don't know if you got the mail. I also want to ask if you can provide an alternative means to reach you. Like phone number or something. Thanks. |
None. I don't want noise on my wedding. |
Cute baby.. I'm gonna say something dicey and I hope my intentions are not misconstrued. Over time I've come to notice most Yoruba celebrities stick with Yoruba (first) names for their kids as compared to others who seems to be in a competition for the best sounding English names available... Tobe, Somto, Diuto, Baridi etc. are all great sounding names than Aliora, Ariana, Jason etc We're Africans and our names should be our first identity. |
Children, Nigerian parents retirement plans.. |
Yes they are.. Very lazy bunch. You'll see elderly Yoruba men in Lagos park, Onitsha forming passengers inside buses, whereas they are all one chance people. You'll still see them a Fagge, Osha, collecting tickets from keke and bus drivers, shouting "owo mi da". Same thing in PH. All the betting shops in Owerri, Calabar, Makurdi, Enugu, PH and umuahia are filled with lazy and never do well Yoruba men and boys from morning till night. What of ariaria market in Aba? You'll see them harassing poor keke riders for ticket money. Same thing they do in Uyo and watt market Calabar. Lazy Yoruba men disturbing young able bodied men hustling. Have you visited the tomato market in gboko, Benue state before? You need to see how this Yoruba men are asking for ticket money from wheel barrow pushers. What of family values? That one is minus for them. One of their celebrity has two bastard children with two different former Yoruba beauty queens. One of the queen is even a Princess o. She couldn't even respect her fathers crown and tradition but shamelessly (like the typical wayward yoruba girl she is) got pregnant out of wedlock to an irresponsible Yoruba boy who doesn't have respect for family. What of schooling? They don't like sending their kids to school at all. Illiterates roaming everywhere. One of their illiterate son was president from 99-07 and another uneducated Yoruba man is the current Vice president. Ladies, Run from Yoruba men. When he dies, his family will shave your hair and give you the water used in washing his corpse to drink to prove your innocence in his death. And if you are unfortunate not to have a male child, then no inheritance for you and your daughters. Yeye tribe. |
Majority of the voting population don't have access to or are not on social media. And for all these to be successful in Nigeria, our literacy rate must increase and access to internet made cheaper. |
Na people Wey think say PMB go lose 2019 for South-South I dey laugh.. Akpabio perhaps just realized Udom is pro Buhari.. Same with what's happening in Cross River where Ayade isn't even sure of second term because the who is who of the state have all crossed over to APC and Jeddy is already warming up. |
Gerrard59:Lol.. Abi na, boss mi. Being Spiritual and born again is the common excuse they use to shut down anyone who questions their past. Same thing we see with younger ladies too, wasting their youthfulness because they're not ready to commit yet, believing their sex appeal/beauty which currently attracts men like bees to honey would last until their 30s. Thanks for the medical angle, had wanted to state it but didn't have the strength to explain anything to anyone again sef. |
If anybody is wondering why marriages these days fail just after a few months, this thread is one of the reason. One is tempted to ask during their courtship period, what did they discuss? Or was it just just about hanging out if fast food joints and taking pictures for their social media profiles? And for those saying traditionally for Yorubas, it takes place in the girl's church, y'all know that's some BS. Does the Yoruba tradition have a church? Yes, the traditional marriage takes place in the girls fathers house (or anywhere of their choosing) but it's not mandatory for the wedding. My elder brother had his wedding in the Catholic Church (bride Yoruba and Pentecostal). My elder sister had her wedding in the Catholic Church (Husband Yoruba and Assembles of God). This was possible because they sat down long ago and trashed this out and not when their wedding was due. With both Letting their spouse see reasons. And yes, I'm Yoruba and Catholic too. And if I may ask the Op, after the wedding what next? Where would the kids worship? Your dad cannot be the man of his house and be the man of your husbands house too. If you can't deal, go look for a brother in your Church and marry. |
keepingmum:Why must he be the one to compromise? |
Rosarie:Let her go and marry the spirit then. some are long term rlthshp. Those LTR didn't work out for a reason. Probably she turned them down when they were ready but she wasn't. Or felt someone better would come along you know, based on the hypergamous nature of women. marriage is what will give u peace of mind:open doors.and so many goodies. This is crap. So many people out there regret the sham called marriage today. Besides, if she can't be happy and find fulfilment outside marriage, she'll never find it within marriage. And at her age, she'll only be filled with regret s of the many suitors she turned down in the past because she had to settle with someone 3 years younger than her. Remember hypergamy I mentioned earlier? NO woman desires to marry down. he knows what he has seen in herHe's only seeing what she wants him to see i.e a born again Christian. Secondary virgin. I wonder at which point she decided to find her morals again. age is a not a barrier in marriage.peace of mind is what money cant buy.what if he looks at age and few years divorce or death or worse.marriage is a life time thing.peace at home is no oneYou're saying crap again. Yes age matters when it comes to marriage. Any woman who desires to marry should do so in her most fertile years. And yes, the Op would do well to marry a nubile who would not only be able to pair bond with him while also looking up to him for direction, but would appreciate the little romantic gestures he makes every now and then. A 39 years old woman carries a whole lot of baggage with her having seen it all. If she wants a good man, let her go back to her 20s and find all the men she turned down. |
What an elder sees sitting...... Op let no one blackmail you or say shít about your mom because she's right. Women are generally more fertile in their twenties and have more healthy children at that ages. As a hard working young man, who intends to get married and possibly have children, you shouldn't even be seen with a 39 years old woman who misused her most fertile years chasing God knows what. Riding the carousel probably and finally hitting the wall, she looking for a soft landing. Op, go and look for a young lady (18-25) that you can pair bond with and can pair bond with your future children. This has nothing to do with your religion but common sense. |
I find the comments of most females here distasteful. They're all blaming the man for turning to another woman forgetting his wife has been denying him sex for eons. To my second point, let's flip the script ladies. You're in the heat of an argument with your husband (not boyfriend or fiance please), and he tells you to your face he regretted choosing you over some other girl he was romantically involved with at a point. Yes, the OPs wife told him to his face that (after five years of being married to her) she still prefered the other guy. She crossed the line at this point and NO MAN, worth his name will take this insult. And yes, it was after she not just rejected him in the bedroom, but also voiced her rejection to his face that he was pushed to the other lady. Personally, I'll never have an erectïon for such a woman again, because I'll just find it hard to get it out of my head that she's just giving me a pity fvck. Perhaps untill y'all understand the importance of sex (to a man) in marriage, y'all shouldn't get married. |
tensazangetsu20:Preach brother. Preach on. One Red pill for you. I see one clown deceiving herself like they all do with a quote about "A real man" finding her attractive and marrying her. Beta provider she meant. You wonder where the child father is. She probably wanted to trap him with the pregnancy and it didn't work out, reason why she's now desperately looking for soft landing having come to the realisation that her marriage market value is greatly depreciated. These young ladies are yet to come to terms with what's happening in the relationship world. Let them keep riding the carousel thinking they'll always have options waiting for them. |
Just like Crude oil, we need to stop exporting raw cocoa.. The share variety of finished products from cocoa processing is enough to guarantee us a 50% increase in whatever revenue we're currently getting from exporting it raw. |
She looks like a Nairalander @ireneony.. |
As a junior officer, Dasuki must have said or done something very very very demeaning to Buhari on Sallah Day, Id-el-Kabir August 26/27, 1985. Or probably during his incarceration. |
Gentlemen, before you think of sending this opportunist a mail (I doubt anyone would though), read this short piece I stumbled upon sometime back. Briffault’s Law The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family. Where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place. There are a few corollaries: 1. Past benefit provided by the male does not provide for continued or future association. 2. Any agreement where the male provides a current benefit in return for a promise of future association is null and void as soon as the male has provided the benefit (see corollary 1) 3. A promise of future benefit has limited influence on current/future association, with the influence inversely proportionate to the length of time until the benefit will be given and directly proportionate to the degree to which the female trusts the male (which is not bloody likely). #Copied. |
