Soon dem go enter pool party with the best men. Then orgies go follow. Na wa o. |
Greenthumb:Yes! A more enlightened person will therefore know that Fani Power (a man born in London almost 100 years ago) already founded a legal firm with Rotimi Williams & Bode Thomas back in the late 1940s. History is important because some people were born into wealth and may not be driven by food to eat. Therefore the person asking about the last time he practised might do well to know that legal practice runs in his family. I know the family background because a member of that family was my course mate in diaspora many years back. Long before Femi entered current Nigerian politics. You are having a laugh at bolded. ![]() I knew people in high positions in MDA's, military, police, customs, higher education academics and others decades ago already. I know the frustration the very few good ones faced. Obi Okonkwo in "No Longer At Ease" is their name. ![]() Lack of historical knowledge is a big issue for the youths of today. Indomie generation just spew their superficial knowledge(mostly gossip) from social media. |
Nice one. Very good. |
fav444:That person is very wise indeed. |
The python na OAP. ![]() Or came to showcase python dance on air. ![]() |
FortifiedCity:We only have open & coded ashawo mostly these days. A girl that has 7 boyfriends, is that a girlfriend? Street oloshos are just the honest ones. Read on FP now about the marriage of 6 years dissolved by Ikorodu Court because the kid in the marriage failed paternity test. ![]() |
AlwaysUltraPad:I cannot remember seeing Elijah Tana in that game o. I guess you mistook Litana for Tana. Two different players with similar first name. |
AlwaysUltraPad:Good. Still losing 18 players, and several other coaches, support staff, FA boss is not easy. Talkless of reaching AFCON final months later. But I do not think you remember AFCON 1994 well. Maybe you were too young. I cannot remember seeing Tana in that tournament. Unless you can upload the team line up showing his name. |
efighter:A UK trained lawyer. His dad Fani-Power was a QC/SAN. Even his grandfather Victor Kayode read law at Cambrigde University. His great grand dad, Reverend Emmanuel Kayode got his MA from Durham University UK. A very busy & educated family. Politics also run in the family. He's only caught up in the Nigerian system that rubbishes everybody, even those originally with good intentions. |
safarigirl:Lol. What do you expect from disappointed Zam fans? They were just too fired up to beat us. ![]() You have to respect them though. They always play well against us. 1994 AFCON final comes to mind. Just 10 months after losing all their players (except team captain Kalusha Bwalya, who had a game to play with his club in Holland) in a plane crash, we struggled to beat them just 2:1 in the final. |
safarigirl:The goalscorer was kind of played on-side by one of our players, a defender I think. But another Zam player on the left wing seemed slightly off side but had little influence on the play at that point. But it depends on how the ref & linesmen see it from their position on the pitch. Many clearly off side goals stand and vice versa. |
lunacol:Around 35% of firstborn kids belong to another man. Higher in some cases. Funny that the first child that will inherit most family wealth is most likely to be from outside. ![]() around 25% of all kids belong to another man: driver, security guard, driver, aristo, neighbour, work colleague, oga's best friend, etc. ![]() |
Omeokachie:My dear, na food for belle everyone dey hustle for. The lady just dey yarn to get her money. Typical 9ja thing. No more, no less. She does not even believe those things she says. |
Nigeria no go pass group stage for that world cup. |
Nigeria Scatter Scatter. Na real jaga jaga. Is this how we want to join the most developed countries league? League of poverty, deaths, robberies & kidnapping? |
Nigeriadondie:People are just using religion to cover face. So do not be fooled by anyone wearing the toga of alfa or MoG. They are only humans and capable of what typical humans are capable of. For me you are just another person like others. Your piety or religiosity is between you & God. ![]() |
NwaChibuzor2:A child that you brought up to adulthood has no price. Just a symbolic pay. She's not a commodity. Not even 10 billion dollars can buy her. Therefore you give her to a hopefully deserving hubby. A guy can be a billionaire and yet not be deserving of your daughter because he cannot (or even try to) make her happy. Huge money paid or expensive items given as dowry do not make the man responsible. The thought that paying through the nose might make him cherish her more is a fallacy in modern life. It might have had some merits in ancient times in some cultures. These days it just turns the woman into her hubby's possession like a car. Not compatible with modern life. Where women want and deserve equality. |
MaziOmenuko:Well, I disagree. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness". 2 Timothy 3:16. Therefore every part has a part to play. The Old Testament was for the Jews. Updated in New Testament as people had become "slave" to doctrine, with less merciful heart towards fellow humans. As for Paul, early Christians were at crossroads at that crucial stage. Whether to preach only to the Jews or just anyone. They settled for everyone as Jesus instructed. Remember only few people could read then and Jesus' teachings were not in a book for all to read as we do today. And many other issues to which early faithfuls sought a clear guidance. Therefore Paul had to galvanise planted churches all over Roman empire by writing to them and giving clear instructions. His journeys were to oversee and strengthen them too. As for urging them not to marry, try and remember something. One important thing Jesus could not reveal to his disciples was when final judgement would be. Matt 24:36, Mark 13:32, Acts 1:7. Therefore, since even Jesus did not know except the Father, it must have seemed like the end was near. Paul must have out of fear they might fall by the wayside trying to provide for wife & kids, that they should just endure celibacy and focus on God's work. To reap the reward probably very soon. I see nothing wrong with that advice then. Remember Paul himself was a wealthy (defense supplies contractor to the Roman army) and a bona fide Roman citizen. He gave up all that privilege for God's work. |
Joephat:That is not always true. The on;y issue is that while most ladies with little money might chose to be humble, many ladies with own money cannot "form" humility. Money has its own spirit. Once a woman feels she doesn't need a man to give her economic security, only very few can show the traditional respect to their hubby. When the man complains about that things like this start flying: he's insecure in his skin, he's jealous of my success, he wants to suppress me, he wants to kill my career because I am more successful than him. I for one find a successful lady with intellect extremely sexy. I find Chimamanda Adichie far more attractive than Miss World for example. She's happily married, has a kid, has a brilliant career & fights injustice in society including against women. |
13ShadesOfMay:Is there any public insititution in Nigeria that treats citizens with courtesy and dignity? Police, EFCC, military, MDAs or which? They only use koboko, threats and bad language/attitude. Some even demanding or expecting bribe on top. In essence they represent who we truly are. People manning those institutions were not imported from Mongolia, Pappua New Guinea or Libya. They are regular parents, uncles, aunts, cousins, sons & daughters of normal people including of Nairalanders. We might "dobale" to greet elders we know or be kind to our friends and family. But once invested with some form of govt/public authority, we abuse the position anyhow. |
optional1:My dear, me too dey find sponsor o.You fit sponsor me? ![]() But wait o. Have Nigeria team handlers settled for a base in Russia yet? Do you know where/region/city they will stay? England manager already selected England team base before England qualified on Friday. |
Nice thread. |
stano2:Ogbeni, being broke? Is there a bigger crime than that in Nigeria? Why do you think people kidnap, do Ogun owo, pack money in any office they find themselves? Not to be guilty of the "heinous crime of brokenness " ![]() Nothing else counts in 9ja now. Nothing. Funny though that it is not in any penal code. But nobody needs to tell you. Life teaches everyone. You can love a girl to the moon and back but if no money to spend on her generously in her mind you are " not caring and not serious." Fact. |
Josephjnr:Tor! Even Buhari recession alone can sort that out. ![]() We will know better when she's married and has kids. Let her show us pics then. In fairness, if a fatty bobo was claiming to be crushing on her then and she was a slim, what would she have done? Same as they sharp guy did. That guy already had good taste as a kid. I have no doubt his taste got better even. They girl he'd be with now would still be prettier in every way. ![]() |
Gerrard59:My brother go and revise Hooke's Law. Even elastic materials have limits. After tummy tuck surgery, a large sack of skin would be left behind. It cannot turn to flat skin again. Because the bulging belly fat had overstretched it beyond limit already. It has to be removed mostly for aesthetic reasons. You know how many women do c-section these days, including too-posh-to-push ones?. Carefully re-read to see I did not mention those that already gave birth naturally. On purpose. Nature is not foolish. Even the womb that balloons in pregnancy returns to a small size Point is women blame even blame God/nature that created preek different sizes as they are. While we are not to even mention when it with comes to them. Quite funny too that a man can hardly get it right with women. It is either dickus is too big, too small, sex is not food na, he always wants sex, dickus is too long and nearly destroying my womb, he always says he's tired after work, etc. When a man complains they say: train her the way you want her na, teach her. A person that her parents could not teach/train growing up, a stranger should now teach as a grown ass woman. Most are not capable of learning any more. The train is already gone. Lol. ![]() |
Suppose a woman's honeypot loses elasticity due to riding Yusuf, Kunle, Ogbona, Ufot and various sizes of manliness under the sun, can a man file for divorce on that ground? Will women accept that? It seems women expect every man to have cobra sized thing dangling there, but conveniently forget that some women have country road size down under, while others have a 10-lane Badagry expressway configuration. I remember Indians & Chinese men are published to have rather very modest third legs, but their women cheat far less. Yes their women have tighter thing too. But they'd enjoy bigger cucumbers too if they wanted to cheat. |
FitnessDoctor:I got your point correctly. Replies here are also for others to read. Obviously you cannot consume calorie rich food without exercise & have 6 packs. ![]() |
oshe11:Blessed are the big-PREEKED, for they are the peacemakers. ![]() Make una nor wunjure person with laugh jare. ![]() Women often refuse to admit how sweet preek is. Always pretending. But wait oh. Dem nor chook chook demself before dem marry? |
Rozaytee:True..... Also not fair as life usually is......but remember that if push comes to shove a fat older man can still get a very trim young lady. But a fat lady with 2 or three kids already will struggle to get another fit guy. Fitter than her current hubby I mean. Anywhere in the world. All things being equal. Reality my dear. |
FitnessDoctor:Eating it is not the problem. Do you burn it? If you do no wahala. See how fit & muscular truck-pushers are. They burn calories & train their body via hardwork. If you do little physical exertion, you must then look at your diet. Oily soup with beef & ponmo and starchy food will simply not cut it. Look at the rate of big belly among women under 30 years old without kids. You cannot eat starch, fast food & drink Irish cream, sugary drinks and other alcohol from age of 17 or 18 dating guys and not expect the fatty result. |
